I have been taking both our family cars to J&H for about 10 years (when it was called Bucky's.) John is always honest, friendly, and helpful. He does a great job at very reasonable prices. He often tells me ways to have the car fixed for less cost. He goes out of his way to be helpful and work with us. The only down-side is that since they are so good, they are always busy, but they still manage to squeeze me in whenever I need a repair. I had bad experiences with other auto shops in town, but never with J&H. Highly recommended.

It's always hard to find a good honest mechanic. I can honestly say that I have found the one. John is honest & will let you know exactly what is wrong & will fix it . I'm so happy to have found a great mechanic. Then he checks up with you to make sure your car is running good & there is no problems. I will definitely recommend J & H auto to everyone I know. I would never bring any of my vehicles to this place. A friend of mine took her car there. Was told it would be in the A.M. time on said day. Called back around noon and was told early afternoon. Called back at 3 and was still told early afternoon. It is afternoon and its now late afternoon. Car not done. Wont be ready untill tomorrow morning. No cuatomer service skills at all. He was super rude and disrespectful. No good.

After being told by 3 Ford Dealerships and 3 independents that even though I was traveling from the other side of the state there was no way I could be seen within the next 2-3 weeks. John from Troys told me to bring the truck right in and he would see to it ASAP. The AC was repaired w/in 3 hours and is blowing nice cold air. I cannot recommend John and his staff enough. Fast and very professional.

John has refreshingly honest and expert advice the 1st time you ask, He has been always been fair when I'm in a jam with my car and truck. He even got me a great value on HID lights for my Jeep. This is the kind of small business you feel welcome and happy going back to. I recommend him 100% and you should feel comfortable getting the same great service.

Best Mechanic/Shop Ever! I have lived in 7 different states over the last several decades, so I have had my cars serviced at many different places. J & H Auto is the best, with service that is top of the line, fair pricing, honest estimates, and I am always given options. Every time I have had my car serviced I drive away knowing my car had been serviced/repaired by the best mechanics, I have been charged a fair price, and I have been treated with respect. I have never once had a problem and I always recommend J&H Auto Shop to anyone who needs a mechanic.

I was recommended to go to John years ago and he instantly won me over. He knew I was deploying and he handed my wife his business card and said to her no matter what time if you need assistance call me, if you have to have your vehicle towed have them bring it here and we'll figure out how to pay for it later. He has been honest and stands by his work. If something his shop does isn't quite right he makes it right. I appreciate everything he has done for my family and will continue to bring our vehicles to him. Want to give a shout out to Scott as well - John has been an awesome mentor to him and I have the same respect for him as well.

I have brought both my vehicles to J and H several times, I kept coming back because they seem to do good work and their prices are great, lower than anywhere else I have been. They won't raise the price on you if it ends up they had to do more than they estimated. They do seem to care about their customers and don't rip you off. The reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is they are somewhat unorganized. They don't do appointments so your car can sit there for a couple days or a week before getting work done and they don't always call back when they say they will. If that doesn't bother you then I would recommend them, can't beat their prices.

We don’t always have car trouble, but when we do we take it to Troy Auto. They have always been honest and done good work for us. Most recently my wife’s Kia needed a tow hitch replaced on recall. We took it to the Kia dealership for them to perform the recall. I decided to have them take a look at an (admittedly) bad oil leak. Kia performed the recall and told us the oil leak would close $6,000 to fix because it had progressed from the oil pressure switch to other systems and wiring harnesses and everything was fried. Time for a second opinion! Enter Troy Auto who (correctly) diagnosed the leak as coming from the oil pressure switch. No other issues were noted. They fixed the issue for about $200. The car has been running great since then, no oil leaks, and no other issues that would have been present with $6,000 worth of damage. They have also, on previous repair, been nice enough to give me wife a ride to work when she dropped it off for a different issue. That was completely unexpected and she really appreciated it! These are good people. Highly recommend.

Seeking a second opinion with J&H service saved me thousands on car repairs. They ran engine block tests and found no evidence of a need for head gasket repair like I was told from a previous local mechanic shop. Not only did they save me on unnecessary repairs, the shop finished the work in a couple hours going beyond my expectations despite being busy. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and I am never going anywhere else for my repairs.

Brought my Accord in as my brakes felt a little squishy. John called not long after and said it wasn't much of a concern but he would bleed them to be sure. When I went to pick the car up and pay he said not to worry about it. I appreciate John's honesty and service! Update: I've also taken my Mazda3 here to have some sway bar bushings replaced. After initially replacing them with OEM rubber, the bushings started to squeak (as they had prior to replacement) about a week later. I took the car back and John & his team replaced them with polyurethane bushings free of charge and I've not had any squeaks since. John does right by his customers and I appreciate that.

Troy's has been phoenominal for both me and my girlfriend. They've done work ranging from replacement of a transmission to simple stuff like spark plugs. Every interaction has been positive and simple. They are exactly what I want and expect of a repair shop. They totally messed up my car. Had it 4 months tore it apart. Stole the cool air intake and battery. Don't stay in communication. They let my car sit out in a field to get molded. I had to go have it towed from them. My car is definitely in worse condition then when I took it to them. And I read they sell people's cars while their on deployment. I am pursuing legal action.
