Give Troy a hug or have your kids color him a picture & he'll treat you like family. He's my go to guy for tires. He has all the same benefits of the major retailers with the service of a small town business. He gives a better product at a better price every time. He offers other services as well, but I haven't used them since I already had a mechanic I was loyal to. However, I am loyal to Troy for all my tire needs. 11/15/23 - Quick update. New vehicle, uncommon tire size. Called Troy with the exact brand/model/size we wanted and he quoted $175 for the tire. Of course we went ahead with getting set up to have it replaced. Just for sh*ts and giggles, I checked the website of the insanely popular discount shop for this kind of thing. Their price for the exact same tire was $216. That's a significant difference, y'all. I can rest assured I'm getting the best price without having to price match or haggle when I call Troy.

Awful customer service, and time consumption. I sat for over an hour and a half waiting for an alignment. When I called they said they could do it right away. They lied. And touching on the customer service? They were rude and had the personality of dry toast. Zero recommendations to anyone going here. Will not return.

Dropped my car off with them, they didn't give me a specific time to drop it off, then they called later that day to tell me my car is being worked on and they'd call when it was done, about 2 hours later I realized they probably werent going to call so I went and picked it up. 130 dollars for the diagnoses alone, 550 dollars for them to fix it. I decided not to do the repair, went home, and ordered the part after looking up what part I needed. It took me 20 minutes to replace the damaged part with a quick YouTube search. Absolutely absurd pricing for at most 20 minutes of work and a 90 dollar part, especially when some places offer free diagnoses. That said the guys inside were friendly and quick with the paperwork, so they get a star for that.

Was gonna bring my wife car here for brakes, called to get a quote and spoke to some guy with no care to be on the phone. He spoke with what I believe was a mouth full of dip, I dont know, but he didn't seem to happy he had to answer the phone. It's a wonder little shops like this stay in business. Probably just happy serving the few locals folks they still have coming in. We'll I have lived in this neighborhood for 3 yrs and bought a house here. Im not leaving for a long time, and I'll be taking my business anywhere but here.

If Google had 0 starts this is what this shop would get! #1 horrible customer service. I went for questions. Is like the onwer was upset and didn't want to speak to me. Maybe because I am Big and black. 2, this shop scam my mother. Took the car in for service. Oil change and change spark plugs. They didn't do anything. Came to find out the car still had old brunt spark plugs. And to find out the car didnt have new oil little to none. This place is a scam!. And I can't stand people who scams. I don't recommend this place. I'm forced to work on my own car. I don't know what mechanic to trust in texas. Thank God for you tube. You tube work great when it come to working on your own car....

My experience with Troy's was amazing. My daughter was traveling back to Oklahoma from a visit to Texas and I get the call from her that the car just quit on I-35. We on the other hand are in Florida, I call several mobile mechanics with no luck but I called Troy's and while they did do mobile service said that they would do all they could once the tow got her there. Just a short time later they had her back on the road and luckily it was just a sensor. Thanks for all the help!

I took my car in to have the front blower fan resistor replaced. I bought the fan and resistor just in case. I was sitting not 40 feet behind my car and all of a sudden the mechanic said it was done. I asked if he checked the original fan, he said it was bad. I watched him from 30 feet away and the only time he turned the ignition on was when he was done replacing both parts. He never tried the original fan. Then it was $130 for 20 miniatures work. What a ripoff. Besides I had asked the owner that morning if. They would check to see which part it was. 83 year old woman here. Worked on cars for 48 years alongside my husband. The only reason it went to a shop is because I couldn't get down to get 1 screw out. But then 83 year old women don't know anything about cars. I am an electronics engineer also

I work over at BSW and as I was pulling out of work today I got a nail in my tire. I immediately called the closest tire shop - Troy’s Auto Care - and asked if they could help me. They said they had my tire in stock. I drove down the road and they were able to get my tire off, repaired and back on in less than 30 minutes. I chatted with Troy in the office while his guys worked on my tire and everyone was so friendly. This would not have been my first pick of places to go but I will be going to them from now on for all my car needs! So grateful for their kindness and help on a late afternoon!

Check engine light came on and this place charged me $400 to not fix it. Troy is rude and dismissive, which I could tolerate easily enough if he had done the work I paid for. When I brought my truck back to re-address the problem I was ignored for three days. This guy has a real personality flaw.

Called to get a quote. Didn’t have VIN immediately. Told him to give me a moment to gather info. Took me less than a minute to locate info. Was rushed and told to hurry up because he had someone in front of him. If you don’t have time to let your customer get the information you need, then I would assume you don’t have time to repair my car. I decided to shop elsewhere for my repairs. With a shop that doesn’t rush their customers within 48 seconds.

I would give Troy’s Auto Care a 10 star if I could. We broke down the day after Christmas on our way back home to MO. The transmission went out. It was very stressful and scary being out of State & not knowing anyone in Temple, but Troy and his team were compassionate, considerate and good honest Christian people. They went above and beyond. He worked diligently with my warranty company to get a new transmission approved which was not an easy task to do during the holiday season. Troy also let us use his personal car to go over to Enterprise to get a Rental, so we could at least get home and even offered us to use his car for the night if we needed to get a Hotel, but we finally got our rental car and headed home 800 miles away. If you’re going to break down out of State, I wouldn’t have picked a better place. 🙏 The entire team was absolutely amazing. Thank you again for everything Troy! Amazing team you have!
