My experience at Tuff Coat Auto and Body was terrible from beginning to end. These people don’t care about doing good work — they just want your money. The customer service was unhelpful and rude, and it felt like they were doing me a favor by even speaking to me. They gave me the runaround on pricing and didn’t stick to what we originally agreed on. The quality of the work was way below what you’d expect from a professional shop — sloppy paint, poor communication, and zero accountability. You can tell they’re not in business to help people. Once they get your money, they stop caring. I highly recommend staying away from Tuff Coat if you want honest service and quality work. Total waste of time and money.

I was referred to Tuff Coat by my mechanic, Butch Hale because of fender bender. When I got there, I was immediately taken care of by Ivan. Then I saw a car being painted blue and asked about painting my car once the bumper was fixed. The quote was VERY reasonable and my 1999 Toyota Camry desperately needed new paint!! In 4 days, not only my car was fixed, painted the beautiful shade of Icy Blue, BUT, Ivan also got me 2 NEW HEADLIGHTS because mine were really foggy and he thought they should be replaced!!! What a THOUGHTFUL and very kind gesture!! Please tell him Jane says "Hi" when you get there!!🙂

Zeek took great care of me. My cars paint job was like show room finish that I didn’t recognize it when I first seen it. Paint job only took a couple of days and it was in bad shape. When I first brought my car in, the repairs took longer than expected and there were a few issues — some dents weren’t fixed, parts of the paint felt rough, and a trim piece I had paid for wasn’t installed. I left feeling pretty disappointed. However, the shop reached out, apologized, and asked me to bring the car back. They repainted it, fixed the dents, and the finish now looks much better. While there are still a couple of small details, that could be improved, and minor parts. the difference is night and day compared to my first visit.

Came in for a rear bumper repaint and got more then I expected. They went above and beyond with my car, they corrected the paint on my fender and door and I didn’t even ask them to make my car look 10 times better. Professional and excellent paint and body shop highly recommend them.

I just went for a small dent and they fix dent but very bad paint job. Overspray all over the car my windows door handles fish eyes everywhere they painted. Swirls everywhere left door jam with no clear coat and then said they are not painting it. I had no budget so money was not issue but they are just bad. Not happy will be trying to trade car in because it’s such a bad job makes me not want the car no more.

‼️STEER CLEAR OF HERE‼️ I nearly towed my car out of this shop because they lied, stalled, and disrespected me. Here's what happened… If getting your car fixed, these people will lie to you and turn a 5 day car fix on the paper into 4 WEEKS & give it back in UNSAFE driving conditions. On the 5th day i called and was told my car being "worked on" and will be ready by a specific day which was the following week. When that week came, making it 2 WEEKS now, I was lied to and told they was having trouble "fixing" my suspension and dont know when car will be ready now. Then when I pulled up that SAME DAY, they finally reveal they'd been waiting this whole time on the suspension part and that it JUST arrived. Meaning nothing was ever being fixed.... Was told once installed, which they said would be the DAY AFTER, that it would take 6 more days for rest of body work to be done. They ADMITTED the car had just been sitting on their lot till this part came in..... When those 6 business days came, they suddenly discover the car needs 2 new tires/rims, & a small fix involving mending it. At this point it'd been 3 WEEKS. They already knew those 2 tires weren't good prior to getting my car. Somehow in those 3 WEEKS they never discovered those things even though they should've been discovered them if they were actually doing ANYTHING with my car all that time🤦‍♀️. I had to CALL THEM too in order to even get an update on this. With patience gone I call some other day to confirm if car will be ready on the new day given and soon as i announced my name and car, I was hung up on..... how DISRESPECTFUL. Once I was about to PULL MY CAR OUT from them due to being lied to AGAIN about when car will be ready upon showing up on the day they gave me, week 4 now, that's when they wanna scramble and tell me the car will be ready FOR SURE next day. A deal was cut that if its not, im taking my car back without paying them a dime. And surprise surprise, the car was ready next day. Wasn't called about it either & had to just show up before they closed. However, they gave it back to me in UNSAFE driving condition. The suspension bolt was NOT tightened fully and one of the tires they installed wasnt installed correctly according to my mechanic..... shop said they test drove it but clearly that was a lie since I heard noises soon as I drove off the lot smh.

My brand new 2020 Jeep got keyed randomly on trip to Georgia in December 2020. I had been waiting for another vacation week to drop it off. On a whim I took a chance with Tuff paint and I'm so glad!! They took care of my baby despite the obstacle of the custom paint. Alex, who was completely professional and upfront with me even told me they had to take it out of the area to ensure that the color matched. Thank you so much!! It was worth being car-less for a few days! Great job!

Terrible experience! I took my car for a paint job - the roof of my car had sun damage. I only wanted the roof to be repainted, but they were insistent that it would be cheaper to paint the entire thing. They kept the car for almost 3 weeks!! I would call every few days to ask for an update, and they would tell me my “car was next,” even though it was not. Very unprofessional…When I got the car back, it looked poorly done. And within a few days, the paint started peeling in very large flaps! It also was bubbling and appeared cracked. I immediately took my car back for them to repair the job, and they kept it again for another four weeks. When it was ready for pick up the second time, you could still see that it was of poor quality. The paint is peeling extensively and I will have to take it to another car painting company. Please do not waste your money here!

The worst BodyShop in west Palm beach without a doubt, If want your Vehicle to look nice, stay away from this shop… extremely low quality work , (screws missing from the bumper, Overspray white paint on my black Tahoe, Broke the plastic on the bumper, They left my taillight unplugged, dripping paint on the bumper, and Scratched rims, etc I hate to be this guy but everyone can see why I’m saying what I said; my 2025 Tahoe now looks horrible thanks to this guys but Y’all be the judge. I had a bad time dealing with this guys, and the same happened to a couple people I know, Is pretty Disappointing when you’re trying to work with people you think you can trust specially (Ivan) the manager but you ended up screwed like me and many others… After seeing the damage they did in other cars, is unbelievable, how they stay in business, But I wouldn’t be surprised if they shut down due to the poor and low quality work so safe your money, your time and headaches dealing with this guys, stay away! I promise is not worth it.
