I had taken my Lexus back in July to Val's to find out why my AC stopped working and wouldn't stay charged for more than 20 min. They diagnosed the problem a rock in my condenser, got it fixed quickly and I had nice cold air...well... until September when I had an accident and totaled my car. 😞. My husband takes his car there for oil changes and they get it done so quickly. I had bought a new/used Jaguar and need some repairs, the dealership cost an arm, leg, and a kid. I wanted to go to Vals again for repairs because of our great experience with them. The reason I'm giving them 5 stars is because he was completely honest about not being comfortable working on a Jaguar. (Which I totally understood and appreciated) Instead of leaving it at that, he still tried to help and gave me a number for another place who might have that experience. I spoke to them today and they were just as lovely to speak to, and wanted to see how they can help me and have an appointment with them. So in my opinion even if Vals couldn't help me with repairs they still helped me find someone who possibly could. So thank you for your help.

On a road trip from Indiana to Tennessee, my front right tire started making a weird squeaking sound. I stopped at Val’s Tires and Autocare in Louisville, and they were amazing! They spent about 20 minutes checking everything out, test-driving my car, and found a tiny hole causing the noise. The best part? They didn’t charge me for their time or expertise. I originally went to get a coolant flush , they got done with that and I went to get my car . I drive it back and the coolant reservoir wasn’t even flushed out or touched it still had the old coolant I originally went in there with . I had to go back for them to flush, drain and refill it cause they forgot, but they did take accountability and charge me nothing . Then when I get back I notice 2 sets of snap-on pliers down in my engine bay close to my belt system pulley , so I drove that far and could’ve got something locked in my belt and it would’ve been all cause they honestly are in a rush and they didn’t even have a lot of cars or they just don’t know what their doing I don’t know . I’ve always taken my cars here but for now on I’ll go to Ken towerys for anything .

Call to check on a price for replacing a Canister Purge Valve on my 2014 Ford Escape! It was done for a fair price! I was even able to purchase the part at Auto Zone (which saved me more money) Carson answered all my questions and the price for labor and taxes was great! Staff is very friendly and professional! Needed 2 trailer tires mounted and installed on a trailer Sunday in the rain. Pulled in and both the guy in the office guy in the shop got on it right away in the rain to get it done at a nascar like pace. Highly recommend hard to find work ethic like that. I visited this shop to have a CV axle assembly installed. On my first visit, I was quoted $270 for the labor. When I returned another day, right after they opened, I was informed that the price had doubled, despite the fact that I was supplying the part myself. This sudden change made me feel that the pricing was not transparent. I chose to take my car elsewhere, where I was charged $197 for the same work. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location
