Had a tire three months old go bad. I was purchasing a new tire but asked the service manager Brandon if I called general tires would they reimburse me? He told me no we can tell you have been off roading. I told him no, the trucks been in 4x4 twice to pull my boat up the boat ramp. He said no we can tell. I said okay I’m not lying. Then he says “we can agree to disagree”. Truly unprofessional from a manager. I won’t be going back to Vandergriff for anything!

If I could rate this service dept with no stars, I would give them no stars. I was treated very poorly from the start, and pressured to take a care I didn’t feel comfortable with for a loaner. When I told them I would not take the car they wanted me to sign something saying that I would not leave my truck with them. I have never been treated so poorly as I was here. I do not recommend anyone getting service here. Please find another dealership. I promise they will treat you much better!

Purchased the car in July. They had the car longer than I have had it to enjoy it. Now, I'm using the warranty in October for repairs already. I've been extremely patient but it's been a nightmare and totally hassle working with these people. The only goal is a sale. I was also told by the service manager " I had to do it before and I was able to use my mother in law's car. Well excuse me sir. We don't all have that privilege. Avoid this place for a peaceful purchase.

I have a serious issue with my car and I needed to get a diagnostic done to see exactly what it is. I made an appointment, got there today and was told there is a 7-day (at a minimum) wait. Which I’m ok with, it’s the holidays, but when I asked it I could add my name/info to a list, I was told no. I would have to leave my vehicle there for at least 7 days and when I asked about a loaner vehicle, of course I was told that they don’t have any. So you want me to be without a vehicle for at least 7 days? No way of getting to work or getting around? And you can’t be out on a list to be contacted when there is availability? This is ridiculous and unsettling. It feels like there is no concern or consideration for your customers. And this is where I purchased my car. Shameful, especially since the problem is possibly covered. I would hate to have an accident due to the emissions valve but i suppose i will have to call back next week to see if they have any availability. Just horrible customer service. How do you advertise loaner vehicles but never have any available? Nikki C Unsatisfied customer.

I have one very simple request…. DO NOT MOVE MY DRIVER’S SEAT!!! I spend hundreds of dollars when I come in for service, just to leave utterly pissed off! If there was another Chevrolet Service Center close, I would never come to yours again. However, I bought into the apparent lie that you guys have top notch service. I am not making this post b/c of one bad experience. I have yet to leave without someone totally messing up my seat preferences.

I drove over an hour for them just to tell me the vehicle I went to go buy had been sold the night before. They didn't have the courtesy to call before I got there!! I HAD AN APPOINTMENT so they knew I was coming! I was furious. I was still considering looking at another vehicle but one of their salesman tried being smart with me about the truck I wanted. I was ready to buy as a Cash buyer, but decided to take my business elsewhere.

Awful, I was told my truck would be ready in 3-4 days, I got it back after 11 days. My check engine light was on when they gave it back to me, so what exactly did I pay $2900.00 for? They “Cleared” the code, only for it to come back the next day.

Took them a long time just to even look at my vehicle, took in on 1-29-25 for transmission issues at 36k miles on my 2023 GMC SIERRA IL6 3.0 Turbo charged diesel with 10 speed transmission. Finally got it back on 2-24-25 with a factory replaced brand new transmission unit. Meanwhile I did not have a loaner car because they had to verify it was a manufacturing issue first. It took three days to replace once they got to it, meanwhile I had no vehicle. DISAPPOINTED!!!

They knowingly sold us a 2025 lemon and can't seem to get anything done with everything that is wrong with my brand new lemon vehicle. They want to keep my vehicle for such a long time and yet still get nothing done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Bad service and even worse customer service!! They will lie to you either way.

When I pulled up it took 9 minutes for someone to come work with me. I was able to get a Lyft to work which was nice. When I came to pick up my truck that was ready, they didn’t have the paperwork at the counter and that took 7 minutes to find. I paid and waited 8 more minutes for my car to be delivered. It just feels like efficiency could be better and the service could be better. My wife has a bmw and the service there is amazing. My truck cost more than her car and the service for my truck is worse. It makes the brand look bad.

Here goes, left my 2016 Chevy Silverado at the dealership due to sluggish Acceleration. Appt was set for Monday 11th Aug 9am, had it towed to dealership Saturday 9th August before they closed for assessment on Monday. Added to assessment was the LCD display that seems to be possessed at times, but not the major concern, why is acceleration sluggish. They have had the truck for over a week and can suggest that the LCD can be fixed for $1K, but no assessment why acceleration is sluggish, why could they not diagnose display and check engine light at the same time? truck is still in line for assessment, WHAT THE WHAT.!!! Would assessment have taken place sooner if I chose to wait with vehicle as opposed to taking a lyft home trusting them to diagnose in a timely manner and advise. The advisor texted once to advise still in line for check engine light Aug 16th Saturday no further updates. Mind you we are already at one week in their possession and no cause for check engine light. I have texted and left VM still no response. It is now Aug 18th and still no news. Is this normal behavior for this dealership, crickets? I have a rental, Toyota rav4 and absolutely despise this SUV. I want my truck back, her name is Grace, in working order. What does it take to get timely and reasonable service cost from this dealership. I choose them because they are a Chevy dealership, trusted them to fix my Chevy, are close to home and have done service on Grace in the past. This is so frustrating, has customer service really died in this country? Robyn

Great service up until my car was ready to be picked up. My car sat at the dealership for 2 days because they called the wrong number and left a voicemail and failed to follow up after they didn’t receive a response from me. No loaner car so I was responsible for my own transportation for two more days than necessary.

Did Vandergriff send feedback or updates on my vehicle? No. I would have welcomed every other day, but unless I called, I NEVER received an update. Then, once I was called and was told my vehicle would be ready in the morning, it turned out that it wasn’t ready. I made plans based on Vandergriff’s “ready” message. When I called at 9am, the vehicle was not ready, and the service advisor said he knew nothing about my vehicle or any update. It’s like the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Finally, once the vehicle was ready, I made it about 100 yards and heard & noticed that the same problem persisted. I turned right around and returned my vehicle. What a disaster. And let’s not get started on the SCAM that is their warranty.

I was needing a tire so I did the tire finder on the website, selected the tire I needed, scheduled an appointment for the tire and stated what the service was for (that I had a screw in the edge of my tire and needed the tire replaced and that I had plugged it just so I wasn’t driving with the screw in my tire) after two hours of waiting I get a text stating service was needed and that my tire is recommended to be changed so I clicked add service and the tire was more when I did that then it showed originally (almost $100 more) but thankfully Krystal was able to make it the price I saw when I booked the appointment. I also needed to book my vehicle for some other service but I need a loaner because of the work needed to be done, Krystal told me to text her at the number that was updating me on the service on Monday and she will help get me scheduled. I did but I haven’t heard anything back yet.

Honestly I would have gave 5 stars except they are lying to their customers saying they need cabin air filter and putting fake pictures on the multi inspection report. I went straight to the parking lot pulled it out and busted them in a flat out lie. I already knew it was a lie because I just replaced it, but I pulled it out to show in my review that they are trying to scam their customers. If you need more proof look up 2021 Chevy spark cabin filter, and you will see it's not even the same as the one in the picture they provided in the multipoint inspection. I don't deal with dishonest places. I'll never do business with you again.

Regret getting a brand new Chevy last year. Engine light has been on several times since I got it and it’s been less than a year. They have loners but be prepared to wait MONTHS to get one. The whole reason I got a new vehicle was so that I didn’t have to struggle with it and I’ve been struggling with engine issues. It’s ridiculous. So think twice before you get a “new” Chevy.
