I'm new to the area and hadn't found a mechanic (prefer small shops) so when Vencam came highly recommended to me, I had to check it out. My brakes were going out and I was worried about the cost as moving isn't cheap. Thankfully, they got me an estimate fast and did awesome work. They also gave me a sheet that lists mileage vs work that needs to be done at that mileage so I feel a lot more at peace with having the price and the list of what I'll need done next. Customer service was top tier, waiting room is nice and my issue was fixed quick. They can definitely get busy though so I recommend making an appointment as soon as you can. I will be using this shop as my go to while I live in Virginia.

Vencam Auto is amazing. I’ve had regular state inspections done there for years and they never try to oversell anything that isn’t absolutely necessary. I recently had to get new brakes (because they would’ve failed the inspection) and was also told other things that COULD be fixed but weren’t necessary immediately. Not only was I given a detailed listed through a link with accompanying pictures, I was also given a call and we went through each item and talked about whether it could wait or not. Super professional and great service, and even offered to stay a bit past closing if it would help me get my car back the same day. Car Parts and labor can be expensive but I’ve always felt they’ve been very fair with their prices and I’m always happy with their work. Will be continuing to go to them for all my car needs.

My daughter was in town a few weeks ago for a week from Richmond, my wife and her were smelling fuel or oil burning. After calling several other service providers she called Vencam. They were very nice, explained no openings for week. After she explained the issue he said bring it in so I can look at it but no guarantee we can fit in in to fix. She brought it in, they got to it that afternoon and found a fuel hose that was leaking, not wanting her driving a car with a fuel hose leaking he ordered the hose and repaired the car the next day. As it turned out it was not the correct hose in the first place, it was a standard fuel hose not for a pressurized fuel injection system! I went with her to pick up the car and they were the nicest people, walked out to the car to show me the hose and even had the old hose to show us. I expected a large bill, especially since they had to fit it in. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

This is THE best mechanic period! These guys know what their doing and are the most honest mechanic out their. They are not in it to scam you. Jack accidently estimated the wrong cost and took 300$ off my bill. I offered to pay them the following week when I got paid because bills were tight and he said don't worry about it! I reccomend you take your car here over everywhere else. The only drawback is since they are so good the time it takes to get your car in the shop can be quite long. So make sure to call ahead. It is well worth the wait though! Would rate this place 10/5 if google would let me.

As a single woman, I have traditionally found the experience of taking my car in for repairs to be distressing, due to concerns about being taken advantage of as far as pricing . I thought based on the 5 stars this would be a good place. Came in for a suspension squeek. I paid for the $185 diagnostic, which they did and said it would go toward the repairs. They did a full diagnostic with a qoute of thousands of dollars. (didn't really need them to tell me the things I didn't ask for like a cracked windshield, or air filter ect) they sent a bunch of upsell stuff (based on mileage) with zero knowledge if it had been done like trans, diff fluids. And the qoute for lca Bushings was like 1800. When they called they told me the diag fee wasnt included in the repairs. They did call back and say they were misinformed and that it would be included, but i had already called around and got them replaced from another shop for 400.
