Still dealing with the issues this shop messed up in my 1966 Nova. Getting ready to sell it. I can’t believe they are still in business. Hopefully Mark is not the owner still.

I took my 66 nova 7 times to this place to have my A/C installed. It still doesn't work. I gave them thousands of dollars to install this and several attempts to fix the issue. I am now going to fix it myself. I was in Afghanistan and my car stayed at this shop for months. At the time I had no garage or tools to do the work on my own. They also installed CPP brakes at the same time they did the A/C work and there is not enough room to explain how bad they screwed me over on that job. I would double check their work if they did an oil change on my car. HACK JOB!!!!!

A big "Thank You" to the great team at Vintage Iron and Restoration. Mark, Marcos, and Lisa are true professionals and their team has done so much to bring my 1965 Corvette back to life. I really appreciate what they do and how they do it.

I've been doing business with Vintage Iron and Restoration for over 10 years. It's not your typical repair shop. It's a small group of highly skilled and experience mechanics who work on vehicles. Mark is the owner and takes an immense amount of pride on each and every vehicle he and his team work on. I can't say enough great things about this place and have referred many clients. They are top notch

Bring your classic car here. They do great work. People there are real nice and friendly. Stop in just to say hi and check it out. They have done a lot of work on our classic car. Mark the owner goes out of his way for customers. Dave the engine builder, did a fantastic job on our 347 stroker. Knows his stuff. Go.

My husband took our 64.5 mustang to Mark at Vintage Iron Restoration. I was having idling and acceleration problems. Their mechanics blamed it on low compression and timing. They charged us $269.50 and said I had to rebuild the engine. I took it to a retired mechanic and he found out that the wrong carburetor was installed. Changed out carburetors, purrs like a kitten. This was on 6/3/16 so I'm sure they are better now. Just saying beware.

As I said in my text, I don't know, it could be 6 months old to a year old. And I don't really trust your nose to be able to tell if it is old or not. Read my post, I drain the fuel once a year. Funny how all the other seals are fine as I have driven it less than 500 miles in over 10 years. Upon inspection, I can see how your assembler, when putting the other parts back in the car that the pipe was put in at an angle. I removed the manifold, the water pump and saw it was installed pointing at an angle down. Not straight so it never aealed at the 12 oclock area. So yeah, I am sure somehow that was my fault. At least I didn't have to wait another 4 months to get my car back. Took me 3 hours to do the whole job. Update: After 10 years, went back to have them look at a power steering pump and a coolant leak when they did the engine rebuild. Let's just say, Mark isn't the same person he was 10 years ago. When I questioned their quote of 6 hours of labor to remove the intake and also that this engine never had a leak in the past but now it does, he was less than cordial. Either he is having a bad day, or he just doesn't care or need to worry about past customers. Too bad, was a good place to deal with, but I have had too many friends that have gone back lately and not a good experience. He even tried to accuse me of having bad gas in my car. I don't drive the car more than 50 miles a year just to keep it running. I put nothing but the highest quality fuel that I purchase in Flagstaff so it doesn't include Ethanol plus Octane boost 104. I drain it every year and put a full tank in every 6 months or so. I even do the oil and radiator fluid every 2 years. Mark's comment, if you had brought it back a year ago, or two years ago, we may have done something. They obviously did not get the Intake Manifold water pump bypass pipe sealed correctly after the rebuild. Rather than own up to it, after paying them over $25,000, he just said it must be because of something I did. Yeah, I just paid you guys to do the work. I feel sorry for anyone that doesn''t know how to turn a wrench that would just pay them and take their word for it. In my opinion, find someplace else to do the work.

I was referred to Vintage Iron by some friends and after dropping in to see the shop I chose to have my 66 Corvette worked on. The shop is immaculate and Mark the owner, Marcos, Lisa and the rest of the team are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. My clutch problem was fixed and a couple of other issues related to the alternator were identified and completed to my satisfaction. There were some other issues related to the Vette and Mark and his team took the initiative to correct them again to my satisfaction. If you have a classic which might need attention do not hesitate to use Vintage Iron. I will use them again and refer others to them in the future. Keep up the good work the Vintage Iron team.

I have owned several classic cars and have dealt with numerous hot rod shops. I have never had as great experience with a hot rod shop than I have had with Vintage Iron and Restoration. Mark and his team are an incredible group of guys. Knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and they do great work. Their prices are fair and, quite frankly, I have told Mark he needs to charge me more for the work they do on my 1956 Bel Air. I needed a solenoid installed to my carb to prevent stalling at idle when the A/C is on but could not take the car to Vintage Iron because I wrenched my knee. To my surprise, my doorbell rang and it was Mark and one of his guys at my door to pick the car up for me. Customer service??? Off the charts. If you are need work on your classic or want a quality team of guys to do a frame off, this is your place to go.

I'm really late getting to this post. After searching a few months for where I wanted my 1968 Shelby restored, I chose Vintage and I am REALLY glad I did. Mark, Marco, Lisa and the entire Vintage team were always pleasant, open and candid. They allowed my wife and I to visit throughout the process and their workmanship was excellent. The restoration took almost two years as the car was, more or less, in boxes (literally). The Vintage team did a great job and I've recommended them to several other Mustang and GT owners. The restoration was a full rotisserie job and they teamed with Hollywood to do a great paint job. Thank you so much for the effort and more so for the kindness and openness you shared with us. I HIGHLY recommend them to treat your car great!

Took my Dads 75 Caprice Classic in after receiving it aftet my fathers passing. What a great decision. Had them take care of EVERYTHING it needed after a thorough inspection. Little bit of everything this time. Lots of wrongs made right and routine stuff. Was put at ease by the open communication between the shop and I. Cannot say enough about what Marcos/Vintage did. Thanks Fellas, will definitely be seeing you for the next upgrades.

I took my 1968 Firebird to them for restoration completion - the powertrain and underbody was completed but needed paint and interior completed. They were EXCELLENT to work with! Between coordinating with the body shop and interior shop Vintage did the 'detail' work of getting the dash back together, all chrome trim inside and out, making sure all electrical and A/C is working properly, etc. Their communication was excellent - they would always call to discuss any issues that needed addressing and either parts to be ordered or a decision on a direction for repair. I tracked down a lot of parts and was very involved as well so it was nice to have timely and frequent communication. I would highly recommend them, both Mark and Marcus were EXCELLENT to work with!

Mark and his team are excellent at getting your old vehicle running like new and ensuring it’s reliable. Their communication is excellent, their quality is top notch, and they work quick. I called VI&R looking for help after another shop absolutely ruined my motor in my 49 Chevy truck. Well, Mark and his team of professionals delivered…. They located a period correct engine, had it rebuilt, installed it, got everything working again on the truck, and now it runs like a new again. If you have a classic vehicle, vintage iron and restoration is everything you’re looking for in a shop. I highly recommend them.

Here is a comprehensive review from start to finish. - called for service on C3 corvette, brakes, clutch, a AC, Power steering . Placed in que . Estimate start time was to be in 4m - received text messages monthly with confirmation of start date - dropped off car on projected start date - after 1 week, I received a detailed report after thorough inspection and estimate on all work that I wanted done as well well as other issues . - took about 3months until all work completed. - I received weekly Updates. - work took Longer than projected but only because they weren’t happy with the test drives and kept working on it till it was perfect. - work wasn’t cheap but communication and quality of work was worth it. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend for your classic car. Had the AC redone, had to replace the compressor. They did a top notch job. No greasy hand prints on the white car either. Thanks for taking care of our 1978 Z28 mullet special.
