Terrible service dept. I was trying them over Gunther. I pulled my car at 2:30pm since no one had even looked at it. It was dropped off at 7:45am that day for a dash light called "exhaust manifold malfunction" which is a collection indicator. No one can tell the driver what's wrong by this dash indicator light.. Not happy at all. To le this is not service

They told me in total I'm looking at roughly six and a half thousand dollars to fix my daughter's Volkswagen. Thankfully I told the car out of there two days later to my mechanic on a plan if you can Congress he ran the car through his diagnostic computer and replace one part cost me $120 car is working perfectly the service at Vista Volkswagen are a bunch of fraudsters scammers and should not be allowed to be in the business I will personally be writing to Volkswagen myself.

I went to this dealership to get an issue fixed on my 2015 Jetta. The problem was "my gear was not showing on my dashboard and I had a wrench light on". I took an appointment to get this checked out because in December 2020, I requested a transmission oil change and filters, and I was under the feeling that this issue was related to the service that was performed back then. When I called to get an appointment, the technician told me it would take only 30 minutes to reset the computer and get this issue fixed, claiming that the previous technician may have made a mistake. I then accepted to book an appointment. After the technician made its diagnosis, I was told that the issue was coming from one wire broken off and needed to be replaced. See below the diagnosis report: "Found DTC P0977 Shift solenoid B control circuit high. Performed diagnosis and found wire broken off. Advised wire repair needed to correct concern". I got 2 connectors and 1 wire changed on my car. (ref: 000-979-025-ea wires and 000-979-940 connectors). I barely drive my car since I work remotely all the time, I couldn't notice this issue right after the maintenance was performed in December 2020 and I think this issue must have appeared along time. After waiting during 2 hours for this diagnosis to be performed, which was supposed to take “only 30 minutes”, I got a quote for replacing the wire ($270). I made some research afterward and realized that this connector is located in the valve body of the automatic transmission. So here is my question, I'm not a mechanic and always trusted my dealership to take care of my car, "how can you explain that this wire was broken off ?". In my humble opinion, the technician that took care of my car in December 2020 definitely did a bad job replacing my transmission oil and filter, unplugged the connector and probably forced to replug it, damaged my connector and who has to pay now ? me the customer.... But that’s not it! I was also told that I needed my brake fluid to be flushed and replaced, and my engine air filter and spark plugs to be replaced. This other operations brought my invoice from $270 to $503 since I declined the engine air filter and spark plugs replacement. Being mad from being scammed, while I was driving home, I stopped to a local garage to get my air filter checked out. Surprisingly, the technician told me that my air filter was clean and not dirty like their VW technician mentioned. I didn’t want to bother this honest technician so I didn’t request from him to check my spark plugs but he told me that if I had issues with my spark plugs then my car would be misfiring or something. So now, I fully lost my faith in this service center and also I am feeling robbed by them! I’m publishing this on your google reviews because people should be aware of their malversation. To conclude, to perform the brake fluid flush, I was told it would take 1 more hour. I waited 2 extra hours. Total I spent 4h15 waiting for my car to be done! Wasted time and money for something I couldn’t break or be held responsible. They will never see me again in their dealership and they should be ashamed doing that to their customers! I contacted their service manager Paul Mitchell to express my disappointment. He made it even worst. He sent me a PDF containing the recommended maintenance that should be performed on a 2015 Passat! I own a 2015 Jetta! you ignorant! He apologized regarding the times quoted stating that they are understaffed because of covid. I spent 4 hours in their dealership and most of the staff aren't even applying the CDC guidelines that they proudly display at their entrance. I saw couple employees not wearing masks or even better, I saw one of them, wearing a mask before entering then taking it off after passing the door. So don't ask me to feel sorry for your regarding your Covid struggle, you are creating your own struggle! You are all pathetic and disrespectful, I definitely lost confidence on this place! But thanks to Paul Mitchell for telling me: "You have the right to voice your concern". Here it is!

I’d like to say a couple words about two employees in particular from Vista Volkswagen. We had the good fortune of returning to Vista to make a purchase. A new Jetta for my wife. Initially we were helped by Allen who is a true wealth of knowledge but unfortunately on that visit they did not have any cars suitable for us. We return today, to find Alan occupied, so he introduced us to Stephen Malin. Stephen turned out to be one of the nicest folks I’ve ever met in the car industry. His wealth of knowledge from finance, to knowledge about the vehicles was beyond extensive. A Pleasant man with a soft personality and a wonderful sense of humor. Having an experience like this with these gentlemen help to dispel the negative myth about car buying. They could not have made it any easier, and including Kris in Finance, everything went smooth as could be. I would recommend the entire team very highly, and will return for both service and our next vehicle.

The dealership is fine and the people are pleasant. However, I was very unhappy to learn, Rick Case charges over $30. less for an oil change! Definitely shop around. Overpriced!

Over 8hrs for a simple oil change and tire rotation. No one seemed to know if my car was being serviced. Called the "service advisor " mid afternoon after dropping vehicle off with an appointment at 9:15 He stated he would all me back..never did. Very unprofessional, and layered with incompetence

Friendly customer service, service by appointment only, it's been over 2 weeks since I dropped off my car but at least Vista provided me a loaner to drive. They have a lot of cars to be fixed from oil changes to major fixes. But what you going to do, it's the same at all car dealerships. I feel I'm at the right place. Pack some patience🤬🤭😁✌️

I went to Volkswagen Pompano be cause the warning light came on saying I had 27 days and then it would be time to have my oil changed. I just leased the car in March and it only had 1600 miles or so. My Technician assured me it would only take a few minutes to remove it and it did. Wonderful service as usual. It's always nice and clean in the office and showroom. Everyone is always nice and friendly.

A few days ago we traded our car and bought a VW Atlas from Vista Volkswagen in Pompano Beach. It was by far the best car purchasing experience we have had. William Makris (CA) and Chris (SM) was nice and friendly, and very fair with our trade and sales price of the car. The car was in great condition. It was very honest and open experience, no pressure, so we didn't feel like any secrets were being kept about the car. We were able to negotiate a final price and get pre-approved in under 30 minutes, and were out the door in under 2/3 hours! Their service is unmatched. We found a great deal with them, and we are so glad we were able to do business with them. We strongly recommend everyone to stop by and meet William "Bill", he has a great personality and always willing to help anyone anyway he can.👍

I had a bad experience last month trying to get an oil change and inspection. After I checked in, the service professional didn't even acknowledge me, then disappeared. I left after 30 minutes of not even getting checked in and went to a nearby oil change center. I previously used them for years and it used to be better. I will be looking for a new auto service shop in the future.

The worst VW dealer in Florida.. Avoid bringing your car here for service.. You have been warned. And when they reply and ask you to "email" their customer rep to "better" serve you... You get NO reply...

I recently took my 2016 VW Tiguan into Vista VW for a few service checks. One being that the AC was struggling with this ridiculous heat. I met with service advisor, David Butterfly upon dropping off the car. He was very straightforward in telling me the service might be delayed a bit but that he would move as quickly as possible. To my surprise it was finished in a few days and the car is back in action! The staff in the office were very kind and the center was clean. I did notice that my car had been cleaned throughout which I greatly appreciate. I'll be returning here next time I have service needs on my VW. Thanks again, David!

This was by far, the easiest and most stress-free car buying experience I have ever had. In and out (with my new Jetta) in under 2 hours. Ask for Jay Ortiz, Client Advisor and Mr. Goldman, Finance Manager. Between the two of them, you'll be in awesome hands. Highly recommend, and 100% will come back. Thank you!

Larry, our customer service technician, is always on top of things. He has our needs taken care of as soon as possible. We choose to wait for him if he’s busy with another client because he knows our car, our needs and always goes the extra mile. The mechanics are top notch, and, we have chosen to always go to the dealership as opposed to many mechanics that have been suggested to us in the past because no one knows a Volkswagen like Vista Volkswagen!

VERY BAD experience purchasing here. I got a 2022 VW Atlas Crossport on February 2024 and it was a nightmare. First, the closing process was a disaster, the person who did the closing took forever with a new system like a desk screen that was new he said and he did not know how to use it. Thy promised me to fix a small dent and scratch the vehicle had but they did not and I had to waist my time and almost fight to get this done. When they agreed for me to leave my vehicle for 2-3 days they did not have any vehicle ready for me as promised. No one know about that and finally they gave me a small vehicle with all selling stickers. Also, they gave me the new vehicle with a temporary tag and no one even called me to tell me about my registration and new tag, but guess what, my old tag that I used for this vehicle it was still good and they even checked that, so I had to find out myself. On top of that, I never received the invoice or any sign of payment or new account or nothing related to make payments after a month and I called so many times without anyone calling me back to fix it. So, I had to go there, again, and wait for a lady who told me she was in charge of that. Se was really and her name was Ivanna, but she told me some of the documents were not right and she asked me to sign again the selling documents. As a favor, I did that because of her but that was horrible experience the level of disorganization they had. She told me she will let the GM about it and will let me know about any sort of compensation for everything i went through but after multiple emails she finally answered and offered a detailing and a full gas tank which I believe was ridiculos for all the waist time and issues I had because of them and I answered that without any comment yet after 2 months. Zero customer service here. By the way, they offered me all vehicles were coming with full tank and my was just a quarter and when I asked the sale person, he told me that was them.

I dropped my daughter's car off on Tuesday at 8am for a 9:45am appointment. As of Thursday at 4:40pm, they have not looked at the vehicle. I had to call multiple times to ask people to call me back. They promised to, but haven't. I had a good experience on the sales side when i bought the car, but this is the worst service experience I've ever had. I'll not be servicing the car here any longer.

Been to a lot of dealerships and worst one by far. Had a car under warranty, had appointment for leaking coolant and undrivable. Wouldn't give me a loaner until it was inspected. 3 hours in, told it was being looked at but I saw the car sitting in the back. Service advisor straight up lied. Got salesman, his manager, and service manager involved. Had to pay $90 for a tow WHILE UNDER WARRANTY because I couldn't reach anyone there. And they never offered to refund. Took 7 days to get car back. Was promised car back 2 different days but never fulfilled. The only reason I gave them a 2 star is because Greg the service manager took care of me.

I bought my car here in 2021 and have come back a handful of times for various servicing since then. It’s never a pleasant experience. Staff and employees do not care about you. Uncaring and unhelpful, simply put. Most recently I called to schedule an appointment for an airbag recall. Martha said she’d order the part and scheduled me an appointment 2 days later. I arranged a ride etc and when I show up, a disheveled, hungover-looking employee tried to find me on the service schedule. After 5+ mins on the phone, he said the part is not there. I tell him, Martha was supposed to order it two days ago. He points us to her at the next desk over. She then disappears somewhere to the back for 20 minutes trying to figure it out, and at the end, no part to be found, it of course had NOT been ordered, and no explanation (or apology!) was offered by anyone there. They simply do not care. She offered to “try to do the job” with a part that had been ordered by another customer by their own VIN number… (why would I take someone else’s part??) In summary... what a mess! Don’t waste your time at this unhelpful, incompetent, disorganized dealership and their sloppy, unprofessional work. That will be my last ever visit there.
