Had an appointment at 1. Got there 10 mins late, but they still started the process of installing my tires. An hour and 20 minutes after I arrived, they finally started on my car. Nearly two hours after my arrival, I walk out and see that not all of my tires are even on yet. Complained to the guy at the register, who went back to talk to them. He tells me one of the machines is broken so they can only do one tire at a time. This wouldn't have been an issue had they actually been working on my car. I stood outside for 15 minutes and they were working on a vehicle that came in way after me, completely ignoring mine. Had they been upfront with me about the broken machine, I would have been understanding. Instead they procrastinated and ignored my car in favor of a later customer's. I'm very irritated with their time management. I only bought from them and came here for the cheap price and the convenience. Will not be coming here for auto service again. Waste of my time. If you're looking for cheap service here, be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting around.

Won’t ever go anywhere else! Had a flat and Richie at the front was an absolute ray of sunshine. The customer service is absolutely un-real. I was having such a bum morning and everyone there made me feel so special. Michael A. repaired my tire ( I was so sure I needed a new one and he worked his magic) where did Walmart find him?! Give the man an award because he sets the bar so high. Left there with a big smile on my face and felt taken care of. 10/10 speed, quality, service They have that small town charm in making you feel like family, we don’t deserve them!

I arrived at 9:20 and ask for an oil change. They told me it would take 2 1/2 hours. I received a text at 12:20 saying the car was ready. I was totally happy with that time. No problem when I got there they handed me cars to a Ford escape. I have a Dodge Caravan so I was a little confused. After several minutes of trying to figure out what was going on somebody came out of the back and said oh we’ve been trying to figure out who this dodge caravan belongs to. They said you have three cars ahead of you, so we’ll just get it done in about an hour. When I said that’s a little unfair, don’t you think you should put it right on he said no and I refuse to do your oil change. He gave me the keys and basically kicked me out of the shop.

The Tire & Lube department does a very nice job! They are quick, and the people who work here are helpful and friendly. The prices for an oil change are more affordable than their competitors. Plus, I have the convenience of being able to shop while I wait.

I had my car severely damaged by an auto technician at this location on Jan 8 2024. Writing this on Feb 1 2024, I have not yet been reimbursed for over $600 I had to spend out of pocket to repair the damage that Walmart employees caused. I took my car in for an oil change, a standard maintenance procedure. Instead, the auto tech completely drained my transmission, and while trying to cover their mistake, added transmission to the front differential (NOT the transmission). This meant that my transmission was completely dry when they attempted to drive it from the service lane, damaging the transmission, as they CANNOT be run dry. Additionally, the combination of gear oil that is supposed to be in the front differential and the transmission fluid the tech incorrectly added proves detrimental and began to leak out of the seals on the front differential and burn onto the undercarriage of the car. My mechanic described what took place as “complete incompetence”. Additionally, the manager, Carlos, proved to be completely incompetent. He did not fulfill a single request he promised me. He was difficult to reach and clearly dodging my calls. The last time I attempted to communicate with Carlos he had the woman working the phones running between his office and the desk phone to deliver his messages to me and mine to him, rather than having me transferred to his office phone to speak to him directly. DO NOT go to Walmart Auto Centers for anything. The risk to your car and to your finances trying to repair the idiotic mistakes made by Walmart staff is not worth the hassle

I went in for an oil change, which they did. They said my car is newer and they couldn't check the fluids because they would have to remove a transmission cap or something and they don't do that. I usually go to the Chandler location on Germann and they never have a problem. Also, I asked to have my windshield wipers replaced since one was torn and hanging. When I got back they said it was fine. I said no it's hanging so the guy at the register went to ask the techs in the back and he came back upset. He was frustrated with the techs and said they didn't check it and they are giving me the run around so do you want me to bring your car back to them or no. I just said never mind. When I first came in he said the techs were already mad at him. Not sure why but this was not a good experience at all. I moved to this area but I will gladly drive to Chandler to get my oil changes done in the future.

Scheduled an appointment but it took an hour for them to even start after the appointed time. Took 2 hours in total avoid this auto center if you don't want to waste time.

I had a scheduled appointment at 3:30pm and when I came in a technician walked up to my car and rudely said they aren’t doing anymore walk ins and I told her I had an appointment. She said “oh, you do? Well we are off at 4 and we still have to do another car.” She didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience she said they don’t have time and walked away. No customer service skills and very RUDE!

Don't get service here. Came here the first time and took a total of three hours to complete a tire swap. I came here the second time thinking the first time was a fluke, but nope, they take FOREVER to service your car. I had an appointment and waited 2 hours for them to start on my car. There was no one here when I arrived. They said it would take 1 hour to complete. BS Cassie was HORRIBLE. After waiting 2 hours, she said that she couldn't mount my tire since it was for a 22" wheel and that their machines can't service that size. She obviously didn't audit upcoming work and should have informed me before checking me in.

Going to leave a positive review due to the outstanding support from Amanda and the auto center manager (forgot her name). I ran into significant delays getting tires installed due to issues (frankly, incompetence) from the customer support the prior afternoon. Amanda and team resolved the issue and got my tires installed and comp’d installation for my troubles. It was a tale of two staff teams - good and bad - but I came away overall happy due to A Team’s effort and friendly attitude.

Absolutley terrible they take there sweet time just to change tires. Got 4 new tires before 8am was 3rd car here 1st car for tires. Been 2 hours already and still waiting. Complete waste of time. They take getting paid by the hour to a whole new level. Took over an hour just to get 1 tire done. Ridiculous. I wish i read the reviews before coming to this location.

However, the young man that assisted me , Dejuan, made it his personal mission to ensure I was taken care of that same day, and during my lunch break at work! Scheduled a 7:30 oil change thinking I'd be in and out. Boy was I wrong. Car didn't get done till 9:30! Asked for a headlight to be changed and the tech "doesn't know how to change lightbulbs" was what I was told. If that's the case, why is he changing oil on a car? Walked out to my car and the bulb was sitting on my passenger seat. Front desk lady wasn't much help either

Terrible customer service. Always "understaffed" , unprofessional and they take twice as long than any other walmart I've been to. The app overlooks appointments and they act like it's a huge inconvenience that you showed up to your scheduled appointment. Will not be returning to this location. Advise you don't come here.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Walmart Automotive and feel compelled to warn others. From the moment I arrived, the staff were unprofessional and seemed unwilling to answer any questions. Whenever I tried to speak with the technicians, they actively avoided me and even went so far as to shut the bay doors, making me feel unwelcome and ignored. It was frustrating and unprofessional behavior for a business that handles essential vehicle services. The management team did not make things any better. It was clear they were disorganized, running around trying to figure out how to complete a simple oil change. The process ended up taking three hours, which is completely unacceptable for what should have been a straightforward service. During that time, I repeatedly asked for updates about the progress on my car, but received horrible customer service — no communication, no explanations, and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. What made the experience even more frustrating is that, despite all the delays and unprofessional behavior, they did not offer any discount or compensation for the inconvenience I experienced. I left feeling completely dissatisfied and would strongly advise anyone considering this location to look elsewhere. This level of service is not acceptable, and Walmart Automotive should seriously evaluate how they treat customers.

If I could rate this 1 star I would. Store closes almost 3 or 4 hours early. Staff is so unprofessional, rude and rushed you away so they don’t have to work. Came in for an oil change at 12pm Xavier one of the staff here stated they won’t be able to get me in for an oil change mind you they don’t close until 7. For ppl who drive far that’s a slap in the face especially if someone already agreed to take me over the phone. If I can tell multiple ppl to not come here I would. Sending someone home sick and not having anyone to cover is diabolical.
