Service tech was very helpful. It was extremely busy, and he tested my battery and made sure I got the proper replacement.

BAD BAD BAD!!!! Bad customer treatment and bad service!!! I try to remain constant with oil changes and types of oil etc in my veh’s. Arrived , Daniel stated no oil filter at store, Daniel stated “Go purchase at Autozone and come bk, then you will be re-imbursed for the filter. Ok WENT TO AUTOZONE, purchased $9.99+ tax. Came bk and oil chnge began. 1 hour later 4/5 guys all looking at our veh, couldnt find oil filter on veh. Finally found. 1 hour 15 min into it, shop guy comes out stating he put the WRONG OIL IN OUR VEHICLE!!? Stated he put Castrol instead of Pennzoil as I requested and assured of same quality. Well dont wanna waste the oil so i agreed to the synthetic castrol. Cane dwn to paying for this and they only reduced the total cost by $2.22, soni was out $8.55 plus the added “1.5” extra oil because our veh takes more than the NON-disclosed advertised prices on the board!!! Really walmart?? I wouldn’t have had extra costs if they had the oil filter in stock!!! Yet was charged extra in the long run!!! Found that they actually had the correct filter on the shelf which the Manager argued with me about. She is full of it because i found the filter on the shelf before she did because i overheard her say to another employee wayyyy after i had already found the filter!! VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AT COTTONWOOD WALMART AUTO!!! Bad!!!!!

I went to the auto center here at the Walmart off Coors bypass for a tire rotation and asked them to equalize the tire pressure. After waiting 2.5 hours they were done with my car. My car still says the tire pressure is wrong and when I drove it around the parking lot to double check, the pressure imbalance so off that my entire car is wiggling. I bring it back in and ask them to fix it. The guy doesnt check how much air is in each tire AT ALL and just guestimates how much air to put in each tire. When I finally gave up and drive home my car is WORSE than it was when I brought it in, I have to keep pulling the steering wheel to stop my car from veering to the left which was not an issue I had before I brought my car in. Do NOT bring your car to this walmart if you want anyone who actually cares about doing their job correctly to touch your car.

Some tines it takes tool long for service but they do very well. They made a mistake on an oil change (dint secure oil filter) They came to m house and redo the oil change. I know 4 of 5, last time they said 30 min and took more like an hour and a half.

Adrian and his crew helped get my daughters Nissan Maxima back on the road, replaced tires, installed new battery, did oil change and were straight up about time and price! They deserve a raise! $$

My best friends car battery was messing up and left her car dead at red lights at time. We took it to Walmart and let hem know what had been going on and how her brothers car place had just "cleaned the corrosion" from her battery and that was when she started having so many issues. Adrian helped us and we appreciated how down to earth and real he was. He was honest and told us that it didn't look like the battery corrosion was even fully cleaned. He was trying to be nice about it Bc he knew it was her brothers shop that worked on it but we told him to tell us what was going on and he said that he knew they didn't clean the terminals right. He said let me do that first and then we will test it out. About 15 mins later the car was ready and he told us not only did they not clean the terminals correctly but they didn't bolt down the terminals correctly. He did that for us and her car is like brand new. He didn't try to make money off of us and try and sell us a new battery like most people would. $3.50 fixed what $40 at her brothers place didn't. Adrian and the Walmart tire and lube team at coors Bypass were honest and so helpful!!! Thank you!!!

Not so great. They don't answer their phone and they got a pretty simple 4 tire change fouled up. Had to call the main store manager to get them to communicate, and my girlfriend was ignored, sitting in the car in the heat with our baby for at least 10 minutes until I got there and demanded service. I'll be avoiding this place for future service needs despite its proximity to our home.

My car's battery died over the weekend (cold weather and I don't commute very far). So I got a jump and took it to this location to get the battery charged. The guy gets me checked in and mentioned that I'd have a wait as there were four other cars ahead of me. That's fine. I can hang out for a while. What wasn't mentioned was that there were only two guys working in there. It was about 5:30 when I'd learned that and they had to be done with all the customers by 7:00. They'd made very little progress in the 30+ minutes I'd been there. So I asked for my keys back and drove up to the Rio Rancho location at Unser and Southern. One of the guys at that location informed me that the battery can take up to 90 minutes to charge depending on the type. The guys at the first location hadn't even touched my car since I'd gotten there. They didn't let my battery begin charging while they worked on the other cars. It seemed they were literally going to do every car in exact order and somehow expect to be done by 7. Poor service. Poor logic.

Nice people and good work but takes forever. If they tell you 1.5 hours, plan on 3 and have a ride. They're waiting room has the WORST, MOST UNCOMFORTABLE couches in the ENTIRE WORLD. I don't know why they don't replace them because their customers appreciate the good price but usually have to wait a very long time. It would be tolerable if the seats were comfortable. Walmart, spend a couple hundred dollars and please BUY NEW SEATING.

Not exactly the most popular place to get an oil change but i probaly wouldn't do it again. Waited about 2 and a half hours for about 4 cars to be serviced before they finally got to mine. The waiting room is simply just a concrete room with a window to see into the garage so there's not much to do besides wait. If they're "busy" I would recommend someone pick you up or you go grab a bite to eat because it can take a while. They text you when it's done which is convenient and they let you chose your type of oil. However i would be wary if you car takes more than 5 quarts of oil because they will charge you extra for the oil they put in. Overall simply because they aren't trained mechanics I don't think I would come here again for any car problems.

I got new tires later in the day. It was busy but the automotive staff made it a very nice experience for me and my boyfriend. The technician,Nel was particularly helpful and friendly. He went above and beyond to help me with my spare. I appreciate his extra effort. Thank you Walmart automotive Coors bypass crew!

Not happy at all with the service right now. I usually only come in for oil changes. Today, I came in for a new battery. An hour and fifteen minutes into “service” and the service rep comes and tells me that the battery they recommended doesn’t fit. So I picked a different one. Now two hours into “service” and I’m still waiting for them to finish. I should’ve known better.

I went in tonight, about 545, stressed cause I had a leaky tire, and I’m going out of town tomorrow, so I was very concerned. I went to the Walmart in Rio Rancho and they turned me away, so I came to this one, and they helped immediately. They apologized for it taking longer than initially expected, but I was totally ok with that. I was very glad they helped. They were all kind and helpful and as fast as they could be! Thank you!

Waited 1hr40min just for them to tell me they couldn’t take the filter off, even though they were the ones that previously installed it and overtightened it. Guy in charge was extremely rude. Don’t waste time/money here!

Went to get an oil change and new battery, and they said it wasn’t the battery but the alternator that was bad and they wouldn’t do any work on it whatsoever. Spent $200 to get it towed to an actual mechanic place to be told that the alternator was pretty much fine but the battery was dead and I would need a new one. Wasted $200 on a tow when I shouldn’t have had to. (Yes I know how to jump a battery and did try doing that to drive it to mechanic shop, but it was just too far gone for that to work)

I go to Walmart to get my oil changes. They usually come to my car right away. They get my car back within an hour. The oil change takes about 25 minutes. They check other fluids and tire pressure too. They keep me informed of the progress by text message. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They tell me everything that was done at check out. The price is reasonable compared to other places. I have always been happy having my oil changes with Walmart.

Best price for oil changes, and better quality service than their competitors that charge 3x more for the same service. Thanks for being awesome and affordable Walmart auto care center! Made reservation online, was in at my scheduled time. Can be a 2 hour wait without appointments on a Sunday.
