Terrible experience per usual dealing with the auto center. First off, don’t ever bother calling the phone they will never answer. I came the day before and they were unable to help in a timely manner so i said I would return the following day. So, i dropped my car off at 9am for a tire repair/replacement with warranty and at 10:40 I received a message saying my car was just checked in. Then I find out after waiting all this time they are only patching my tire. I would not have bothered purchasing the warranty had i known how it truly functioned. The service agent was rude and unsympathetic. If you can help it don’t go to this location, I don’t if any other Walmart service center is has been customers service but i would suggest there or cancel Walmart all together

I was experiencing some issues late this evening with what I thought was just 1 tire on my Mustang. So I arrived at Walmart Tire Center on Platte in Colorado Springs shortly prior to their 7pm closing time for the Tire Center. Despite arriving late shortly to closing Mike the technician was friendly & courteous, he provided not only my vehicle with great service he also provided me with great customer service, he was kind, patient & thoroughly explained things to me & even showed me several things. I greatly appreciate Mike at the Walmart on Platte for his service today. Mike exemplifies how all Walmart employees should treat their customers.

Waited for help for 20min for someone to recognize I was even there and when they did and I said how long I waited, he told me I just pulled up!!! When I left my car the new tires registered 40 in one tire & 37 in the other. Never ever go back to this Walmart car service.

I pulled in asked if they were still taking customers I was told yes. They took me right in while I was walking around inside Walmart they called me cause they did not have the oil, they met me in the automotive department where the oil was and they helped me get the right kind of oil for my car. After that I was pretty much in and out very quickly. Everyone was very helpful and courteous as well. I will definitely take my vehicle back for an oil change and new tires when the time comes

Straight up garbage. I made an 8AM appointment and showed up at 7:40 for. I wasn't given my keys until 10AM, for an oil change. Bro I was literally the second person there and they were short staffed which explains a slight delay but not 2 hours after the appointment time. That's insane for an oil change. I could see them moving around as if they were trudging through molasses nearly the entire time. Even after they finished the process of getting my keys took like 5 minutes. So sure I saved about $2 but also wasted over an hour and a half of time. I'd drive my car into lake Ontario at 145 mph before I come back here. Just look at Groupon save money and go to a business that'll either be able to handle the scope of work they offer or can compensate you for their incompetence. Also they couldn't be bothered to remove the oil light. Theyre trying to say full synth is only good for 3500 miles.

Drove up at 8am for a tire replacement hours on the website and building stated that they open at 7am. When I arrived another customer had been waiting for them to open since 6:50am. That customer called inside and still as of 8:40am the auto care center has not opened... Understand that things happen but I could see people inside and they could at least give an ETA on when or if they plan on opening this morning. Even a sign on the doors would work so that I don't waste my morning waiting. Can only judge the service in terms of the blatant disrespect of operating hours, as I have waited 40 minutes for no service. They may do good work when they are open but I will never know as I will not wait anymore.

The only reason I didn't give it a five-star rating was because I got there at 6:30 so I could get my car done as close to 7:00 opening as possible but even though they checked me in quickly it still took them 25 minutes to start my vehicle. I was happy with the price of the tires and they did do a good job though they might have misconstrued the torque pressure for my lug nuts but I think we got that cleared up. Otherwise the manager is very helpful and his people are nice and the mechanics know their stuff as to what they do there and I'm not the easiest person to satisfy at times. But I tried to be nice and I think I was up to the point where they said they have a policy where they Fork the lug nuts three times. And I tried to explain to them that's the reason why you have a torque wrench. So you only have to work at once. But Walmart seems to have its own mechanical Wizardry and I don't blame the mechanics I blame Walmart's policy. Obviously the people who run management for the Walmart do not have any idea of mechanical aptitude. But otherwise they did a great job and even though I was late for an appointment luckily it wasn't a terribly important appointment in everything worked out for the best. No I got to say this. If you're going to open up shop at 7:00 and people are there waiting to get work done at 7:00 then you better be on their cars at 5 after 7:00 or the latest 10 after 7:00 because that's what an automotive shop is all about. Getting the people in doing the job right and getting them out. So maybe you guys can get to work earlier so you can wake up by 7:00 and be ready to do the work! Have a great day

Went for a simple oil change, technician gave me a hard time saying he might not even have my oil which was a lie (my car takes 2 oil types and there are common), then they left off the oil cap. Half the oil spilled out while I was driving and the burning smell was horrible.

TAKE PICTURES BEFORE YOU HAND YOUR KEYS OFF. Went for a oil change. Paid $75. Got into my truck after it was done. Truck was shaking.... My truck wasnt shaking when i parked it and handed my keys off.... I guess I paid for an oil change and for them to break a fan blade. They didn't own up to it. I was told "it was like that when you parked it" and I know it want like that when I replaced my radiator YESTERDAY. After replacing the fan. I tried to brake a fan blade off the old one and took a reasonable amount of effort to snap. the oil filter is close to the fan. I suspect they broke the fan blade when replacing the oil filter.

This auto center doesn’t even deserve one star. I called in advance to inquire about a specific tire. The mechanic who answered was very kind and told me there was two in stock. I asked if he could place them on hold and I will be there within the hour to purchase them. He said he brought them upfront and they would be waiting up there for when I get there. I got there less than a hour later. The mechanic behind the register was very rude. I let him what I was there for but the manager (Isaiah) had interrupted and said “we don’t place items on hold here”. I politely told him I had talked to someone on the phone and they said they would place them on hold for me and he replied with “My mechanics know better. Again, we don’t place items on hold and we already sold those tires.” I’ve worked management in retail and I know how people can be. But you can’t treat people bad for no reason.

Got the tires I wanted at the Platte location when other locations had none. I waited for about 1 1/2 hours, which isn’t bad on a Black Friday. Everyone was nice and it all looked good; until I went home and noticed that night how bad two wheels are with scratches that were NOT there before. $2500 Ram Limited wheels with scratches around the rims where the machine would have went around the rim. More care needs to be taken when dealing with obvious expensive wheels.

Walmart is awesome,this time I got a rock chip repair kit for my windshield,I deliver parts and that's a unfortunate occurance to my vehicle,so far it's working good and it's pretty simple to do your self come with everything and directions

Just take your vehicle elsewhere. Went for the two front tires to be changed, made sure to let them know the tires needed to be at 32 PSI. After the service was finished I looked at my tires and immediately could tell they were overfilled; I checked each pressure and the tech put all of my tires at 44 PSI which was the max pressure allowed for my sidewalls:/ I was also charged for a warranty per each tire that I declined multiple times. Just got to a legit shop.

I arrived to have new tires installed and was told it would take an hour. I went into the main store to do my grocery shopping and arrived back to the tire center an hour later. I find my vehicle parked in the same place I had left it as they had not even started on it yet. They did not have an appropriate explanation as to why I was told an hour when it was in fact it was going to take two. I had my child and dinner groceries to get home. The manager who relayed this information to me could not have cared less. I took my car and my money elsewhere and will certainly not be coming back for anything related to their auto care center.

First off my car needed a jump. I called and thankfully Justin walked over with 2 potable chargers. It wAs difficult to get a good grip on them but got enough juice to make it to the bay to do a true battery test. Justin had to roll out but he was so patient in the lot when trying to do the original jump. Then Vinny took over. Sadly the portable battery reader wouldn't work since I own a classic. Had to roll out the cars with the old reader. With a confirmed dead battery he was able to hook me up with a good battery, prince and warranty! Jerry started the replacement while Vinny did the paperwork. I spoke with Jerry and Gabriel while the swap was done. Everyone was very kind and friendly. Vinny also checked to make sure I was able to leave with little issues. I feIt welcomed. I will certainly visit here again. Thanks again guys! You got me back on the road and was able to catch the fading sun!
