The service here was great. Dylan helped me with getting my Subaru 30 k service done. I needed a ride to work and they made sure I had a ride. Later I had to get some warranty work done. They were able to provide a vehicle so I can get to work and home. Over all it was a great experience.

The employees here were very kind and nice, but I was taken advantage of for more money. I was told I needed my brakes replaced which was accurate. However, they also told me I needed an alignment. I had the alignment done as well as my oil changed. I took my car to another local place I trust to get my brakes replaced, and they asked me if the dealer “young Subaru” showed me one of my lower ball joints. I said no. Come to find out my lower ball joint is very worn out, which I was not made aware of, and I was told that doing an alignment with a worn ball joint is useless. So I pretty much paid $300 for an alignment when it did nothing and my car is still not aligned because they failed to mention my lower ball joint being worn out. I’m very disappointed and felt like I was scammed. Never coming back.

Facility is great, nice modern feel. Needed something fixed they fixed it. Only issue is they aren't good at communicating about what out the door price is. I recommend getting maintenance done by anyone other than a dealership. Overpriced for the same exact service. Bang for the buck is not good. Overall customer service: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Facility 5/5

This was a great location to get an oil change. The staff were friendly and had incredible customer service. Only complaint would be the kids area not having more to it. My kids weren’t too impressed.

I'll start off with the good. Their advisors are awesome and the facility is nice. The bad, just about everything else. Took my 6 year old Ascent in for a check engine light. Initially said it was an O2 sensor issue due to an exhaust leak. I think it was about $1200 to fix the leaks. Got it put back together and they test drove it. Check engine came back on. Did some more digging and there was a leak that had got transmission fluid in a wiring harness, O2 sensor, pressure switch and a couple other places. They didn't have the parts so had to order the parts in which took a week. A week after that they had it all back together again. No check engine light but they were still hearing leaks. They found a crack in the manifold? Add another $900. All said about 3 weeks later and about $5600 bucks. But wait there's more. The final kick to the junk was I had taken a loaner car from Young because I was heading out of town with my family for spring break. I read the agreement but what they didn't make clear is if you get a noticeable rock chip they, no matter how small they have to replace it. Another thing they didn't make clear was if they replace, which they will, they cost about $1,100 bucks. Not sure if my gripe is with Young Subaru or Subaru in general. I guess a little of both. Anyway, unless you got mountains of money to burn stay away from Young Subaru.

We brought our Impreza here for 6 years over the duration of our warranty, and they managed to avoid fixing our air conditioning in all those years and many visits and days wasted. They kept it for two weeks the first time, supposedly fixed a recalled piece, and sent it back blowing warm air. After each subsequent visit each year they would refill the Freon and say, “Let us know if you still have problems.” Over and over. They lack ability to diagnose problems that a quality mechanic can find and fix and leave you with an “Oh well, tough luck” in the end. If you have a warranty, get your issues diagnosed elsewhere by someone who cares.

Just got done, I was taking my outback to them for a recall and I think you will find what I have to say very important. They were awesome. I showed up and they directed me to know where to go. The staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing. I felt comfortable and trust leaving my car with them and leaving it there for the weekend. They got a lift for me to take me to the front runner because that’s where I needed to go. They walked me to the pickup and assured that everything I needed was taken care of. The lift they got was timely and they were very responsible on getting it to me in time before my train left. These guys are awesome! VIP experience. Btw I think if they attached a Culver’s to their building that would be great I was very hungry and I do think that a smash butter burger sounds really good with a peanut butter cup Oreo concrete mixer ice cream, and Wisconsin cheese curds. I have always been a big fan of those. If not Culver’s then KFC chicken meal or even simple McDonald’s would be sufficient. But again they are awesome and take good care of your car. It was overall fun and productive.

I AM CHANGING MY REVIEW from one star to 5 stars because this morning Sarah from Young Subaru called me and resolved the issue I had over a terrible experience at the service center at Young Subaru. And I’m saying THANK YOU THANK YOU YOUNG SUBARU AND SARAH for hearing my issue and resolving it fairly and professionally! Sarah was awesome and I feel like the issue was finally resolved fairly and the way it should have been handled in the first place. She also even went a step further to say that they were going to change things at the Service Center/loaner cars department so that no one else would ever experience the same thing! So that is awesome! And truly I loved my experience with buying a car at Young Subaru - everyone was fabulous and I love my car and feel I was treated great! Especially by Dalton and the other salespeople and financial people there. It’s a great dealership and I never had any issues with the dealership. Just the Service Center/Loaner Car Policies. THANK YOU SARAH for listening to me and resolving this issue!!!

well this sucks i have used this place for so many years---leased a car from Young Subaru only to find out today that my 2nd complimentary oil change has expired?!?!?! I wish that someone would have texted me that it was expiring when they constantly text me about buying cars from them! well i guess if i have to pay i will not be using this company any longer and going to Les Schwab! Frustrating to say the least.

Outstanding customer service! We were driving through on a road trip and my 2020 Crosstrek started making thumping noises when turning. It was 3:45pm and they squeezed us in despite having a busy schedule. Parker was terrific! He explained what they found clearly, was honest about having to order parts and timing of repair, and then gave us time to think about continuing our drive and fix it at home. If we lived in Ogden or anywhere nearby, THIS would be my shop! Super clean facility and helpful, kind people are important!

This is the worst experience I've ever had as a customer. I feel insulted and taken advantage of. I was charged $360 and 3 hours simply to diagnose why my AC was blowing hot. That diagnosis came back with them telling me I had to scrap and replace the entire AC for $2,500 on top of what I'd already paid. I went to a real mechanic for a second opinion. He was able to identify the issue with the AC clutch and fix it in under an hour for $100. Young Subaru attempted to charge me 30x the cost of repair (yes, a 3,000% upcharge) while claiming they actually inspected and diagnosed what was wrong with it. The practices here are explicitly predatory, or the techs are grossly incompetent. Either way, the service contract I was sold with my vehicle is easily the purchase I regret more than any other in my life. I'm scared to imagine how much money they've stolen from me over the years through invented and fraudulent repairs.

Came in for an oil change. The technicians recommended an engine air filter as well as some other things. I declined both offers, however receiving my car, everything appeared as normal until I accelerated. It was a very aggressive sound. I figured that it had to be something to do with the air intake. I made it home, it was very worrying, especially when it started to sound even worse than previously. After getting out of the car i popped the hood. There was oil spilled on the car under the hood. The engine air filters plastic cover was not seated on and hanging loosley by only one clip, exposing the engine of anything that mightve flown in. I am not happy with this situation. This very easily could/might have caused damage to my engine. I had a decent experience other than that.

Went in for a routine oil change came out with a quote for $8000 because they told me I had a blown head gasket. Saw there was oil in my coolant and did no further diagnostic tests to prove that it was actually a blown head gasket. My car has never had any issues prior to this and it’s also only 6 years old. Decided to get a second opinion and I’m glad I did. I called multiple auto shops and they all agreed that there could be multiple other possibilities to why there is oil in my coolant and said that it is highly unlikely It is a head gasket issue. They also proceeded to tell me it would be half the cost of what young Subaru quoted me for the repair if it ended up being a head gasket. I paid $180 for a diagnostic at another repair shop and they confirmed it was not a head gasket a didn’t find any oil in the coolant SYSTEM and all I needed was a flush of my transmission, coolant and possible radiator if I wanted to be extra cautious. I can never trust young Subaru and I will never come here again. They are robbing you of money on your repairs and are not honest in their work - they should have been more transparent and sure of what they determined of the issue before they hand over a $6000 dollar repair.

Tyler is one of the best service advisors I have ever worked with. He went above and beyond to make sure my routine maintenance was taken care of. Beyond that, he was extremely friendly and outgoing!

Would not recommend bringing your car here for anything other than routine maintenance, especially if you drive an older car. I had my car brought here when it wouldn't start, they fixed it (new starter), and I was able to pick it up a couple days later. They did not tell me, however, that the check engine light and another error code had popped up. They simply cleared the codes right before sending me off with my car. I attempted to reach Dylan (my service advisor) but never got a response. I bought a newer Subaru (from a different dealership in Idaho after my car took a 💩 a couple months later) and will not be bringing it here.

Tyler Phelps was our service agent for our first visit to this dealership and he made the whole process of fixing our tire easy and worry free. He was also very friendly and sociable. Made it feel like we had a friend in the business not just a bland business exchange.

Mitch is the best customer service representative! I really appreciated that he not only found out what was wrong with my car, but he listened to what my financial ability was and found me a solution that was reasonable and accommodating. I really appreciated his respect and professionalism. Mostly, I couldn't believe the extent he went to, to help me find a solution to my car's problem and how to fix it at a reasonable price. Bravo, Mitch! I am a loyal customer after the effort you put in to find a solution!
