Used this shop a while ago to work on my 3000gt. Since then I have heard more and more horror stories about them overcharging for stuff that is not needed and doing shoddy work on other customers cars. I have worked on my car off and on since it last left their shop. I keep finding things that are wrong. The timing on one cam was off one tooth, the gauge cluster was only held in with one screw when it was suppose to be held in with 4, the maf translator wasn't even setup for my car. This is on top of all the other things that have been wrong with it that were a lot worse than those i mentioned. Ive sent their tune to a tuner that I trust and he picked it apart saying some pretty astounding things about how bad it is. I will never go back to this shop. I will also never stop warning others about the shoddy work they do and how they try to tack on charges that are not needed.

Rodney and the guys at the Performance Factory are absolutely amazing. This is only the second shop I've allowed to work on my Bullitt Mustang in the ten years that I've owned the car. Brought the car in for some broken valve springs due to a faulty cam install and left the shop with pretty much a brand new engine. Since the motor was out I had the guys install a new clutch, valves and springs, long tube headers, camshafts, H pipe, master cylinder, and a rear main seal. The work was flawless. They even adjusted the clutch to my liking on the spot when I brought back because I thought it was too soft. Oh and one last thing, they also gave me a couple of free runs on the dyno just because! This place is awesome. Wouldn't consider taking my car to anyone else.

I have been getting parts for my 97’ 3000GT from these guys for a little while now. Made a lot of online orders and as always, they provided great customer service. Decided to drive to their warehouse in Concord for the first time to pick up a cat back exhaust and a test pipe and was welcomed and treated like a friend and a valued customer. If you’re looking into any parts of any kind for your 3000gt or stealth, these guys are the only way to go for quality parts whether they are OEM, aftermarket, or custom made by themselves. Never received documentation they promised on a repair. Also, they claimed to be thorough, yet they asked me if I wanted to but a clutch back in rather than being able to tell me if it was in working order. After reinstalling it they claimed is still did not work and had to take it back out, charging me again. They had me purchased a whole upgraded slave cylinder kit when all that was needed was a billit support. I supplied a billit support from Monster clutches. Not to thorough huh. A week after I had the car back they tried to bill me again! Claiming they missed putting something on the invoice! Also lying that is I didn't pay it would come out of the mechanic pay. Overpriced for incompetent service. If I could give 0 stars I would. Let's add liars to protect themselves as well. Tried to charge me for a part a week after I had the car back. A part they bought extra of. Notice how they try to claim I did something wrong redirecting the blame rather than addressing what they did not do. Let's delve a little deeper into it since they want to lie. I also found the lug nuts on my tires were not tightened as well. Supposed mechanics and they could not tell that the clutch was no good and asked me if I wanted it them to put it back in or get a new one. You're getting 115.00 an hour but asking the customer what to do? I paid over 3000.00 for what they call work and have the receipts. So they were more than paid for their shoddy workmanship.

Ordered a used ABS pump / valve assembly (nearly impossible to find) from 3SX Performance. They sourced a used one and got it to us right away. Unfortunately the Left front channel would not bleed out properly. They tested another one and sent it to me with no hassle. They stood behind the used part and were absolutely great to work with! I love the owners response that I was not a customer. He must be forgetful. I had my Scion there after the turbos were installed and the Performance factory was unable to put a tune on the car that left it running right. See photos.

Bought my girlfriend a used WRX and wanted to have a little work done to it. I knew it already had some kind of exhaust already on it, didn’t know if it was just mufflers or full system or what, I couldn’t find a name brand or anything. Called the shop and told them I wanted to beef it up a little bit and that it already had some kind of exhaust on it. They insisted on me to bring it in for them to look at it. When they were done I asked them what they found and they said it was bone stock, I said no way that it’s fully stock. They assured me it was stock. I asked them ok what do we do now? They said that it should get a tune, a full exhaust system, and an air filter. I knew that couldn’t be right so I got home and did some research on it, which I PAID them to do. Well what I found was that my car already has a MA Performance catback exhaust, and a Mishimotto intake. Like I told them I don’t think stock cars come with 3” exhaust on them 😂. Idk if they were trying to upsell me, or maybe they were just too dumb, this shop is a joke Go ahead tell me I wasn’t a customer 😂
