FREAKIN AWESOME! Andy knows what he's doing and is fair & honest. After being misdiagnosed by three other places and feeling like they just wanted to make some money fixing something they didn't even know was broke or not, it was a huge relief to find Andy. I was walking the neighborhood and noticed their sign out by the street. Then a couple days later I got the email that my registration was up and I needed an emissions test. Their sign said $25 for a test; easily the best price I have seen anywhere around for emissions testing. I gave them a try. The guy I worked with was friendly and the shop looked well run (clean/organized). I will keep coming back here for emissions and will strongly consider them for repairs that I don’t do myself. I added the “and Emissions” tag to their name on google maps because this place doesn’t come up when you search for emissions in this area.

Very quick service, and the best price I've ever found for emissions. (Currently just over $25 for an emissions test.) No on-the-spot registration renewal, but there are enough places that do that nearby, so it's a non-issue.

One star is too many. This shop may be fine for emissions, but don't trust them for anything beyond a minor repair. $6000 later IN CASH and the car is worse than ever. My daughter and son-in-law have been using his services for a couple of years now. Up until now (August 2025) things were okay. They bought a used car early 2025 and had a few issues. Here are the gory details: 1 - Things started in May 2025 with a $1000 AC repair. Even though the front passenger side was now blowing cold, no cold air was coming from the back vents or to the driver's side. We had to figure out that issue and fix that ourselves. 2 - Radiator was replaced for $2000. He checked the pressure, brought the engine up to temp to check for leaks. No leaks at the time, however 8 weeks later there were leaks. He said it was a small one leak. They opted to keep the coolant topped up and about a month after that made an appointment to repair the additional leak. In the mean time the car had to be driven to work because they are a one car family. A larger leak occurred, and the engine unfortunately overheated. We do not blame the engine overheating on Andy - except we do feel he should have replaced other hoses at the time of the radiator replacement. Unfortunately, this is a we said/he said situation and apparently to Andy the customer is never right. However, this leads me to the bigger issue - THEN due to the car overheating, 3 - Had the car towed to have the leak repaired because the car wasn't running. Instead of addressing this issue of the engine not running and suggesting it was something he might not be able to fix, he went ahead and fixed the leaks, for the $200 quote he gave. He then proceeded to work on the engine without full approval. We were shocked when all of the sudden the cost was up to $1800 (it continued to go up). He stopped work while we came up with a plan to pay for this work and the find the additional money needed to get the car running. The total came to about $2600. When they picked the car up Andy said there was a tick in the engine and he would need to get the lifters done soon. But that the car was driveable. During this time he was telling my son-in-law that there were electrical issues as well. They came to my house to return my car. They went to leave, the check engine light came on and was blinking. As they were moving the car to the curb it stopped running. It took several men in my neighborhood to get it into neutral (it's an all wheel drive with a knob shifter). Now they are without a car (except for the use of mine). As a result I'm without a car - I'm out of work at the moment so I can figure things out as I interview and such, but it is gut-wrenching! I called to try to find a resolution and I just got defensiveness and blame on my son-in-law with no empath or solution. Granted, I was upset, but I didn't say it was Andy's fault. I just wanted answers and information to find a solution. I got no understanding or kindness, just blame. I was simply asking about the practices of replacing a radiator, and why they don't replace all the hoses. He explained his part and then again blamed my son in law for not repairing the fix and continuing to drive the car. I asked why no authorization was received before starting the other repairs. Of course he said he was told to go ahead and do them. Again, I can't prove it. But we do have text messages and invoices to back up most everything else. The other concerning thing is that if you pay by credit card he charges an extra 10%. So, to save a little money they paid cash. There is no recourse, no resolution. We can't even dispute the charges on a credit card. He told me if people paid cash he "ate" the sales tax. However, the invoices still show tax. How does that make sense? I guess at this point I get an attorney or pursue some other type of action to try and find a resolution. Unfortunately, it feels hopeless. This is a business owner that won't do anything except blame the customer.

I thought I could trust this mechanic...boy was I wrong. DO NOT COME HERE. My family will be homeless at the end of this month and with no working car too due to this mechanics deceitful practice. He should be ashamed of himself. Their business must not be doing well because they screwed up our engine while fixing our fuel injectors. They are scamming people and lying to you about your car issues that they cause. We only went in to fix a few leaking hoses that were leaking coolant, $3000 later and we now have an engine that shakes uncontrollably, which it did not do before.My husband asked if it would be drivable and he said yes. We got the car back yesterday annd it dies in the middle of the road not even a full day went by and we don't have a car again. We Andy the mechanic said our engine had a ticking noise, and said it's the lifters. Except the lifters should not make it shake that bad. We are taking our car to another mechanic and when they find he messed up, we will seek out an attorney because Andy has entirely blamed my husband on ALLL OF THIS. We also got a new radiator from him a few months ago, and when my mother called pleading that he could help our with our situation in some way, Andy completely denied ever changing our radiator. He was not helpful at all and again would not take accountability for his terrible practice. This man is dishonest and I would NOT trust him to fix your car. Please please please do not come here.

Don't go here! Andy is untrustworthy, dishonest and will gaslight you. He is also super shady when it comes time to take your money. He's unwilling to own up to his mistakes or try to make things right. The emissions might be cheap, but honestly it's just not worth it. Curt's carwash and emissions is a better deal. They are not much more and you get a free carwash!
