I am new to the Norwalk and was in search of a reliable auto mechanic, when I stumbled upon Accurate Auto Repair. I have taken my car here several times, and can say that this place lives up to all the reviews and hype! They are incredibly kind, patient, fair, and honest about fixing your vehicle. They will never try to rip you off by upselling something you don't need. If they can find a cheaper but reliable way to fix it, they will do it. But they are also very honest about the work, and will not just do the cheapest thing that will last you a few months. They will be upfront and tell you their honest opinion and find the middle ground between longevity/reliability and value for your money. These guys have been around for a long time, and I can definitely understand why. You can tell they take pride in their work, and they will not send your car out if it's not something they would drive themselves. They are a part of the community (check out their office- you can see what I'm talking about!) and I'm glad to have them around. Special shoutout to Brandon this time around, who took the time to constantly call me with updates and let me know what was going on with my car. He was incredibly kind on the phone, and in person as well! Thank you so much for taking the time to make sure I was comfortable with all the work that was being done. I have talked with the owner as well in the past, and he is also a stand up guy! All in all, this is the shop you want to take your car to if you want work done!

This guys were not only honest and hard working, but kind. Restored my faith in humanity. Looked three different times for a phantom electrical suck that was draining a new battery (and warrantied out our old battery for free), and didn’t charge us a dime when they didn’t find anything. Will be going back for years.

It’s hard to give them two stars because they are VERY nice, and they do a good job. They are just insanely expensive and will tell you they aren’t but they charge $140/hr in labor cost, which only after paying my $1300 strut repair bill did I come to learn is a high labor fee. So the two stars don’t come from poor service or rude people. But more so because I left feeling kind of like… a bit cheated. But if those prices all seem fine/reasonable to you then I would say they are a five star place. But personally I don’t think I would be able to afford going back lol.

I came here for my tire repair, and I’m so glad I did! I did some research beforehand and read some great reviews, and they’re all spot on. The staff was super helpful and easy to understand. They explained everything to me in a way that I could easily understand. And the prices were really reasonable, which was a huge plus. Overall, I had a great experience at this repair shop. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their car fixed.

I was referred to Vinnie & his crew about 4 yrs ago. Prior to that I was always jealous of those people who have their own bona fide reliable & trustworthy mechanic in their network. Now I can empathize w that sense of pride of being thankful (for Accurate Auto & their entire staff.) I brought in my Ford Edge today for work & frankly was a little concerned all last week because there was rust under the car & a joint clamp had fallen off from the front end of the muffler system. The sound coming from under the car was not pretty. Didn't know what I would be in for in terms of potential hazards under the frame. But I had made the appointment w Accurate Auto for this morning & by noon they had the new parts ordered & the job finished by day's end-- with an oil change as well. This is now the 3rd car since 2021 that we have taken in to Vinnie & his guys. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

I used to live off exit 16 and so accurate has been my go to for auto repairs for years. I recently was having engine troubles and they not only gave me options to fix it but an honest opinion on if those repairs were worth the time effort and cost to do. The high scores for Accurate Auto are not an exaggeration. It is 100% deserved. I had a specific concern for my vehicle and had visited a few locations who quoted me exorbitant amounts for unrelated solutions. The team at Accurate Auto listened to my specific issue, was able to diagnose the issue, and provided a transparent cost breakdown to resolve. They made several recommendations but weren't pushy to take any of them. Truly stellar service all around.

Brandon was awesome. I brought my car in for a standard transmission fluid change and asked him to check for a rattling in the front tires while I was there. Turns out my steering rack had failed at less than 60,000 miles! Brandon gave me an estimate and truly excellent advice. Due to the premature failure and my desire to get help from the corporate office, I ended up getting the car fixed at the dealership — but Brandon's helpful nature and advice were a goldmine on a stressful day. You can also tell he treats everyone the same — I'm always on the lookout for the "little lady" stuff, and there's none of that here. They respect you like a human being here. They earned my loyalty for sure for maintenance! Thanks Accurate Auto Repair!

my old lx got a hydraulic suspension leak, tired of the dealer crazy price, so call accurate and tbh I wasn't sure if they see enough lx with this problem, but they are very professional and ended up fixing it costing 25% of the dealer quote and they use the OEM parts! The car runs like new now. Also you cannot find a better customer service anywhere else, very professional and honest, timely communication, don't see myself going anywhere else
