Steve helped me out; he was very professional and courteous. Great customer service. Very honest and upfront regarding pricing and billing for labor. I was quoted $1000 plus at a dealer service center whereas with Ace Automotive the parts and labor was only $400. Great price for great service. This place is awesome! Anything you need done to your car, they can do it for you. They have a great staff (Collin, Steve, and all the guys are very friendly and professional), great knowledge of their craft, the prices are very reasonable, and they get stuff done without taking forever! I also prefer to go to locally-owned small businesses, and this place is veteran owned and operated. I've lived in Virginia Beach all my life and been to plenty of car repair places. This is by far the best and I will definitely be sticking with them.

Late in the afternoon I stopped by on a nearly flat tire. These guys got me fixed up in a matter of minutes including patching a second tire where we found a nail. The shop was busy but they still took the time to help me as a walk in. I really appreciate the service!

I woke up this morning to a completely flat tire. After filling it with my air pump and driving to work, I began the search for the closest auto repair shop with good reviews. I see now why Ace Automotive has so many 5 star reviews! I called them right when they opened and they asked if I could bring my car by in about an hour. I was a few minutes early but they grabbed my car right away and had my tire patched in less than 20 minutes. THEY DIDN'T EVEN MOVE MY SEAT! That fact alone is probably worth 5 stars. But the friendliness, willingness to fit me in right away, and the speed with which they made the necessary repair are pretty 5 star-worthy as well. I definitely recommend them if you need work and are in the area.

Went to check my car battery, because a warning popped up that I needed to replace it and sure enough it needed to be replaced. The price was not what I expected, though nowadays everything is more expensive. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and the staff was excellent, I would recommend this to anyone!

They have never once tried to upcharge me on an unnecessary repair, and the few times they have recommended a repair to me, it was on something that was absolutely needed and would have eventually effected the performance and safety of my vehicle. Great auto repair shop! Called to check availability and price, got my oil changed on a Prius Prime in about an hour once I got there. Nice people doing quality work. Was here a few years ago, they removed a nail from one of my tires and plugged it. Quick and inexpensive. Would highly recommend!!!

Truly the nicest experience I’ve ever had. My husband is currently deployed and I had originally taken my vehicle to “Mr. Tire”, and they completely tried to take advantage of me. They disconnected and disassembled parts of my car and left them so that I would have to come back. Well thankfully I Came to Ace instead, and not only were they so kind, but they fixed my car for no charge. Will be coming here only for the rest of my time in Virginia. So nice to know I have a place to trust when my husband is gone

Excellent Service. You can definitely tell that all of the mechanics here work hard, and that is now becoming a lost statement in most businesses. They mounted and balanced my new tires on my 1996 Mustang GT flawlessly. I even lost my lock nut key, and they replaced it when other companies wouldn't even take a look at it. First of all Justin W the state inspector works for the state not Ace automotive, the state pays his salary not Ace automotive. So your beef is with the state inspector not with Ace. Secondly, I thank god for Ace Automotive and my two neighbors who told me about them when i moved here. They have always done a great job at a fair price and don’t scam you.

7/29/19 was my first visit. Made an appointment for an annoying, whining sound coming from the motor of my 2007 Toyota RAV4. I suspected a bad Alternator. Collin calls and gives me updates, recommendations and photos. Never any sales pressure. Vehicle is back to normal, quiet and runs like dream! My new “go-to” for used car repairs!

Do not go here. I had an inspection and was told I needed a tire rod replaced. The truck was siting in the garage and only was driven 500 miles in the past year. Last inspection somewhere else I had no problems. I was also told my ball joints were both bad. I asked the guy to show me and I didn’t see anything wrong but he said they were loose. Well, I took the truck somewhere else this year and guess what. Nothing was wrong. This just goes to prove this place will make you spend unnecessary money. Don’t go here!!

Tried to get a quote on getting an engine splash guard request and before I can even ask, I get a don’t have time. Zero experience here in customer service, recommend going anywhere else if you would like to at least explain what you need. Can’t give zero so here is one star!
