Somehow my review was deleted but I had a really bad experience with one of the guys in the reception desk - was really rude to both my father and me when asking for his services politely. I almost felt threatened to leave with the way the man was behaving but thankfully one of the other kind employees helped my father. It must be a stressful work environment especially with the winter. Honest hard working people, and I hope other people have better experiences than my father and I.

I read the first 3 reviews that came up and can say that I agree that Acorn's pricing is fair. I can't agree on great customer service since I never got a phone call after giving them my contact information twice. Now for why I gave 1 star. I brought my company vehicle in for an oil change and tires on May 22, 2025. They performed the oil change and let me know the tires had been approved and were on order. They would call me once the tires came in. I was also told they noticed some additional work needed to be done and they were waiting on approval from Enterprise. After not receiving a call regarding the tires, I called on June 20th. I was told that the tires were in and that the other work had been approved. I was told it also needed motor mounts and control arms. The manager apologized for not calling and said they had the wrong number on file. I gave him the correct number and scheduled the service for June 25th. I asked if the service could be completed in one day and was told yes. I arrived to drop the vehicle before the store opened and gave them my keys and verified my phone number, asking them to call when it was completed. I called at 4:26 pm since I had not heard from them and was told it would be completed either by end of day or in the morning. The manager that I spoke with let me know that he would call once it was completed. On June 26th, I drove to the store a little after 5pm and was told the vehicle was completed and they tried calling but the number they had was wrong. I pointed out the number the manger wrote on his note pad. I then asked to see the old parts. This is where it gets ugly. The name of the company I work for has Automotive in the title. They don't know it, but I've been in the automotive field for 40+ years and a ASE master technician. I looked at the motor mounts expecting them to be hydraulic and leaking, only to find them to be rubber and having no signs of wear. I then look at the control arms and see minor wear that in my opinion would have been something they let me know would be needed in the future. The mechanic then shows me the transmission leak he found while changing the motor mounts. This is the only thing they should have addressed when the oil change was performed. I'm not sure if they saw easy money being an Enterprise lease vehicle or if they operate this way with everyone. I advise staying as far away from Acorn tire as possible. This type of business is what gives automotive a black eye. I feel that they have put a stain on how I have made a living my entire life. There's too much honest work to be conducting business this way.

I have been using Acorn Tire and Service/Goodyear on Aurora Ave in Naperville for 20+ years across multiple vehicles. They are my only go-to for tires and mechanical repairs. I have always been satisfied with the quality if their work. They employ only solid technicians who get the job done right. Their pricing is always reasonable and competitive especially when compared with car dealership shops. I have no hesitation recommending them as a valued service provider.

Stopped by around 5:30 yesterday to make an appointment to have my new wheels and tires mounted the next day. They told me to bring them on by and they would take care of me same day. Talked through what I needed: remove and dismount stock wheels and tires, remove TPMS, install TPMS on new wheel, mount and balance new wheels and tires with new hardware. They took their time, did the job right, and delivered a perfect set of blemish-free wheels. Even more, they stayed after hours to do so. Price was more than fair considering the effort and attention to detail. I'll definitely be back for any future wheel/tire needs.

Every time I come here I regret it. 2nd time I spent my majority of afternoon there to change a tire/tires. Didn't even put my spare tire back under vehicle when I asked them to do so. I have other things I could say but you get the point. Drive past these shop and keep going.

I got my oil change done here and ended up having the oil leak. When I got it checked by another mechanic we found out that it hadn’t been done properly. Disappointing to have paid twice and for a poor job. Will not go back and do not recommend

I have been going to Acorn for years now and they always have been courteous and helpful. Bringing in a car for a repair or even a simple oil changes isn't what most of us think as fun or something we really want to do. The experience has always been pleasant and Acorn doesn't try to over sell add ons like so many other auto repair locations do - just the essentials and they will provide information on recommendations they find might need to be considered. Overall I have always been a very satisfied customer.
