I don’t know much about cars which I understand can be frustrating for auto store staff. Sean was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I felt a lot more confident when I left as to how I should proceed. He got me all of the parts I needed, helped me locate and clean my MAF sensor, and was just overall pleasant to be around. Definitely will be returning!

Came in to buy a simple mirror for my Tacoma. Asked in the beginning if they had any with turn signal. They looked them up and said they had one. They asked if I wanted the cheaper one after I had clarified my needs. I said yes because I had clarified what was needed. I even asked once more at the end to verify it was the one with a blinker. They special ordered and charged me freight which was expected. A week later the part shows up. I open the box and no blinker. They wouldn't even pay me back the freight they charged me for the wrong. All they said is " you said you wanted the cheaper one" even though I explicitly said with the blinker. They never even had the correct part so they litterally just sold me what ever they had. Jon and Martin. Take responsibility for the mistake and make it right! I will never go here again.

The staff go the extra mile to take care of their customers, and I experienced this in my visit yesterday. I bought a new battery for my car keys, and the cashier went ahead and changed it out for me on the spot (without me even asking him to do so)! I also bought a part of windshield wipers, which ended up being incorrect for my car. Sean went truly above and beyond to ensure that I not only could return the windshield wipers in exchange for the proper pair (Initially, I hadn't asked for a receipt, which was a bad idea!), he also took the time to explain to me why they were incorrect. He then installed the new pair for me! Fantastic service; I will be relying on this store for all future auto part needs.

Went to O’Reillys who were not open despite store sign saying they were open an hour ago. Hopped over to Advance. The manager helped me out, found the exact part despite the computer saying they didn’t have the right one. Helped me on a quick installation and saved me a couple hundred bucks at the dealership. The staff here is amazing. I had a four hour nightmare that ended up being a battery issue. It was late by the time I got a jump and this store was still open. The manager (I believed her name was Melanie) helped me select the right battery and changed it for me. The old one was so corroded that it was fused to the terminals. It was pretty cold and dark but she didn’t give up even though it took 30+ to break it free and was so friendly and kind throughout the whole process. She got me fixed up and on my way after a long horrible day, couldn’t be more grateful to her!

Sadly every single time I have grabbed any replacement parts for my car this place has failed even now just getting a gasket for the drain plug they didn't have one besides a complete screw with gasket. And after the zoul Change not even a day later I notice oil leaking all over the place and the oil is not cheap 5 gallons for 65 bucks. For me it was the last time I have spent any of my money at advanced and will just deal with ordering what I need at Amazon.

At one time I was a fan of Advance Auto in general but from recent experience it seems they've really gone down hill, especially in the areas of product knowledge and customer service on the part of in-store staff. My recent visit to the Boulder store was just the latest of several unsatisfactory experiences (spanning several stores).

I stopped by to make a quick purchase, only to find that they had closed the store early. When I walked up to the locked door it was exactly five minutes before the posted closing time on a Saturday. Since I knew exactly what I wanted to buy and where it was located inside the store, it would have taken me only one minute to grab the item and get it to the register. Now I am a very unhappy customer and unlikely to return.
