Worse place you can go to...I had my truck tow in cause it was not starting. My truck sat on the lot for 2 weeks before it was even checked. After that I had my batteries recharge and asked for the to check the truck and do brakes and rotors. After another 2 weeks I was told my truck was ready and it was over 3,000 dollars for the work. Parts and work was done that I was not advice of and was told by dom that I said I need the truck fixed. When I called headquarters the franchise owner told me the dont work on regular people trucks they only work on corporate trucks( hans all the moving brothers trucks). But to top it off this was not the end of it. When I picked up the truck my front brakes were not dont correctly and the calipers were locked up. I came back and was told again by dom that it would be more money. After 4 days I was called and told the truck was good to go. When I asked what was the issue I was told it was just fixed. After a week of picking up the truck my transmission was gone with makes me think something was done by them since I complained to corporate the 1st time. This place dont care about the common person and only cares about big companies. Please don't bring ur truck to them you will regret it if u do. I should of listen to all the bad reviews I saw before mines. Dom is a scammer and dont know nothing about mechanic.

This company is very trusting. I'm a Soldier in the US Army and while on my way to my next assignment my trailer crapped out on me in Durham, NC. I had to leave it at a gas station and keep going to my assignment. I contacted this company and spoke with Todd and explained to him my situation and he assisted me by phone through the whole process including a great rate on the repairs. Advanced Maintenance is a life saver. We had a really bad experience at another shop a whole week was wasted there, nothing was done and we were going to miss the opportunity to cater at multiple events. Then I googled and called Advanced Maintenance Durham location. Even though we had never been there before, Courtney answered the phone and assured me everything will be taken care of on time, that they will do whatever needs to be done so we can cater our events. We dropped off the truck on Wednesday evening. Thursday morning they had gone through the truck and Terry with his forward thinking had ordered parts to cover all bases and kept on giving me updates throughout the process (always answered my calls and always answered my texts). He specially brought on Gabriel their Ace tech to work on Saturday all day (even though the shop is closed on a Saturday) just so the job could be finished on time and we could pick up the truck on Monday morning and do our catering events. Courtney, Terry, Gabriel and the whole Advanced Maintenance team went above and beyond to help us out and get us through a difficult situation. We are their customers for life. They truly are "Advanced" Maintenance (miles ahead of the competition).

Our truck would not build air and we had to pull over on I-85. I am very thankful David came to our rescue. Needed a new air compresor that could not be replaced on site so we had to get it towed to the shop. We had it towed that same night to Advance Maintenance in Durham NC. Terrence and I are FedEx Ground contractors. We've been using Advanced Maintenance, the Durham shop, for over nine years to service our fleet of step vans. The longevity of that relationship should say it all. We've had reliably positive experiences with them. They're responsive, almost never say they can't fit us in their schedule when we have a last-minute request. They've been known to stretch their area of service to accommodate us in a pinch. The technician with whom we've had the longest working relationship is David. He's worth his weight in gold; there's nothing he can't diagnose and fix! Advanced has performed all of our regular maintenance on all the truck systems, even minor body work. Have we never had glitches in service or communication? I can't say that. But I can say everyone I've dealt with, starting with the owner and including all the staff, has been willing to work with us to find a solution when an issue does arise. We recommend Advanced Maintenance, Durham location.

Oh my. Where to begin. Went to Advance Maintenance because engine light was on. I knew what it was because received a scan print out, just needed a reputable mechanic to fix it. Well, Advance did diagnostic to confirm what was said. Front desk asked if I wanted to “cap” at a certain amount, meaning no work is to be performed until I’m notified of the repairs and amount. I received a email with an invoice for 5 times the capped amount. Since they didn’t call me, I went there for an explanation of what I just received. I also mentioned about the capped amount, and phone call I was suppose to receive BEFORE any work was done. We went over the invoice, items they said they ordered from the dealer was false, because I called the dealer while in their presence and the dealer stated “that part no longer exist”, I was being charged for a nonexistent part/kit. Bulbs and fuses totaled $100. Labor was $900. Just ridiculous. So while there, I was presented with 3 invoices. Service amounts adjusted, work they claim was done (was adjusted and/or removed from the bill. SMH. I also didn’t realize that there is a $30 non cash payment fee. When you don’t pay with cash. Well, as I was driving away, of course service lights were came on (that weren’t on before). The tech/owner said to bring it back another day for him to take a look at it. I read on the invoice stating, “Work/repairs completed”. Just wanted you all to beware if you go there. Read your invoice, which doesn’t have a lot of info on it, but it’s enough to question what was done, and for how much.

These guys were great. We picked up some vehicles in the area, and had to fly in from out-of-town. Despite a tight schedule on both sides, they got us in within a day, and delivered on the promised work. We do long distance travel with buses and end up getting PMs and related work all over the country - these guys prices were fair, and the work was done faster than I can expect from most. Called this shop. Creig or Greg or whoever said it would take between 2 and three hours to do an oil change at $180 an hour. LOL... and with me bringing all the oil and filters it would cost me $600 in labor. TOTAL RIP OFF... Only a FOOL would fall for this. THE dealer charges $400 and that's with THEM supplying the oil and filters... Google say's they're open 24 hours. But because it's a weekend they want an EXTRA $200... They consider ALL weekend work a ROAD service call EVEN if you go to them. AMAZING... people are just out to GET you. DON'T BE A FOOL.... Shop around...

We brought our 2005 E350 box truck to them. We had a light come on so we had a diagnostic ran and printed off by autozone. We tell them this along with prior maintenance we had done to the truck less than a year ago. We had a P0430 code meaning 02 sensors. Well instead of them attempting to find the cause of the code they just replaced them. Prior to any work done they charged use 225 dollars for a “diagnostic” then 90 for the use of their “laptop”. We’re already at 300 plus without anything being actually done. They stated we had a few misfires so they replaced coil packs and spark plugs. If I don’t look up codes I wouldn’t even know which 02 sensors they also replaced as it was not detailed in the invoice. But wait there’s more, the total cost of all this was 1300 plus dollars with 900 being labor. That is insane. We pick the truck up Friday park it in a secured location it seems ok, it’s our work truck we need it. Anyways Monday we start driving it again the dang light is back on and the truck is dying Due to this I checked the 02 sensors I know should’ve been replaced, and lo and behold not replaced. This place is a scam charged us for work they didn’t even do, and never even fixed the solution. Which more than likely is a Cat since the truck has 90k on it. We asked them this they said no it’s not. So i said well what happens when your solution doesn’t work? She said and by she I mean Courtney, oh well we will work with you. Umm what? No. The point of this trip was to fix my issue not put a bandaid on it, and then force me to replace parts again. Here we are now back at square one and I’m supposed to bring my truck back and trust this crooks?! I think not RUN!!!! They need to refund me so I can actually pay to get the work done they didn’t do. Those 02 sensors are old as all get out. You can see both sets when you remove the dog house. They claimed this took 6 hours to accomplish along with spark plugs and 2 coil packs.

Came in ro get a trailer bulb replace and come to find out that it was just u plugged. Terry told me no charge but most companies would have charged something...The guys I spoke to was very friendly and if or when im back in this area and need assistance...thats truck or trailer...I will call upon their services again......Thanks Terry
