Last Wednesday the 11th of October at 4:40pm I buttoned up the shop and jumped in my company Transit Van to head home. Dead battery ! I got a jump from the manager next store and drove straight to Ali’s. Even though it was 4:50pm they verified they had the correct battery and installed it. They were awesome, stayed late and got me back on the road. April, the shop manager, and Matt the technician really provided excellent customer service when it counted. Great shop with friendly professional people.

Came in on 7/17 because my engine was very very loud. I ended up leaving my car there due to feeling unsafe to drive it. They were very accommodating to me and did their best to inspect and fix my car as soon as they could. They fixed my car by 7/22 and even identified other smaller issues I should fix with quotes. Im extremely satisfied and happy with the quality of work and service provided. Im happy I found ny go to place for any car issues. Will definitely recommend to friends/family!! Thank you <3

The staff was amicable, however, their expertise was lacking. I took my car in to be diagnosed due to an EBC light, but they were unable to determine the issue. After paying $199 for the inspection, I replaced all the parts and returned to them, informing them that the EBC light was still on. They then stated that they would need to charge an additional $199 for further diagnosis. Very disappointed.

Got the car fixed once already. It looked like a great deal at first. They let me keep the car after the diagnostics because it was not in dysfunctional condition. They received the part quickly and gave the car back to me ahead of schedule. Everything was cool until a few hours after receiving the car, the oil light and engine light came on and the engine was loud and vibrating too much... We took it back in for a second repair after being kind of abrasive with them, and they maturely scheduled the second fix... After the weekend, they called us back having looked more closely at my car knowing that I was one of their more irritable customers. They told me I'd probably have my car back that Thursday, but they did the honest thing and disclaimed that the car would actually be working, after I got it back... I admit I was pretty much a jerk, not having real experience with cars myself, but there's a level of not knowing what's going on to begin with, especially if your original diagnostic determines nothing about follow up issues... Getting my car back tomorrow after the second week. It turns out there's something wrong with the engine, that was not even found by code reading, and they wanted to take apart my engine to fix an interior belt. I dont doubt that they might have been able to do that, but it was very clear to me that operating on the engine would take significant time, and I had lost my patience at this point... So far the only sign of the problem is the noise that the engine makes, and I wonder if they are not trying to be obsessive about giving me a perfect car because I was confrontational with them... I recommend these guys for anything short of the engine, they will apparently ride you like a bucking bull. These guys got serious people skills.

Selected this shop for 4wheel alignment among a few. Took 3 visits before the alignment was acceptable. Even then the steering wheel was still slightly off center....and the pulling right problem was not exactly gone. Tolerable is more like the solution.

This is one of the best experience I had with an auto repair shop. Great customer service on time and always kept me up to date on the repairs and if there were possibly additional repairs that need to be done. Everything was done on time. Micheal was defiantly easy to work with. I would recommend Ali’s to anyone looking for car repairs and they will always do my repairs for now on

Bet your life on this place!! These guys are as trustworthy as it gets. I’ve always heard really good things about Ali’s, and after getting quoted way too much for an intake manifold gasket replacement at another shop I thought to give them a call. Michael was prompt, knowledgeable, extremely professional, and most importantly to me he was hilarious and personable. He told me they would do the service for half the price the other place was quoting me, and even informed me that some of the parts I was quoted on wouldn’t need replacing. Additionally, when I asked about also replacing the valve cover gaskets, instead of quoting me more, he told me that they came with the kit and they were already planning on replacing them. These guys have your best interest at heart and will not screw you over. Bet your life on that. P.S Whatever the mechanics name was, you rock dude. And that little puffer fish guy, you also rock.

We don’t live in the immediate area but needed a tow and the driver recommended Ali’s. I have nothing but positive things to say, Michael was so communicative and even called to apologize when they weren’t able to look at it the next day (was towed there after hours, I never imagined next day would be doable). My alternator was the main culprit and it was fixed very quickly and for a reasonable price (considering all car stuff is $$!). I highly recommend, they felt honest and not trying to price gouge even when they probably could have since I’m from out of town. Thank you!!!!

Both Ford of Kirkland and Bellevue made my basic service experiences so time consuming from booking the appt through a call center and acrimonious with the local service people not giving me updates that I vowed to not go back but didn’t know where else to go. Ali’s. I went to Ali’s and have have had the easiest time getting 2 different cars repaired that it brings me back to pre pandemic and pre corporate service department times! Easy phone call to make the appointment. Plenty of times available. Convenient location. Reasonable repair costs. Good communication on when the car is ready. Services all electric and hybrid cars as well as standard combustion engines. Go there. You will experience the same thing and wonder why you thought there was no option but dealership service departments.

I bought a car basically unseen, and then afterwards decided to have them look at it. Turns out it had a lot of issues, and they were very comprehensive in the list of things it needed to be done to the vehicle. I was already aware that this was going to have some issues, so this just clarified everything. They didn't charge me for the diagnosis, which they easily could have, and I decided not to have work done, not because of them, because they did a fine job, because of how extensive the repairs would have to be to get it back to par. I appreciate the honesty, and I would take another vehicle back there anytime.

I had an excellent experience at Ali’s Auto Repair. I’m not mechanically inclined and bought a 1995 Dodge Roadtrek camper van somewhat on a whim. Two hours into my first trip with my 15-year-old son, the engine suddenly shut off on the freeway in downtown Bellevue — on Juneteenth, no less. Most shops were closed or too busy, but Ali’s said, “Come on over!” They were curious and excited to help with my old van, not dismissive. After several days of careful testing and research, they replaced the crank position sensor at a fair price. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, honest, and thorough. Best of all, I was able to make the three-hour drive home with no issues — so it definitely seems they solved the problem. Highly recommend Ali’s! They work on all kinds of cars and truly care about keeping you safely on the road.

I brought my Explorer in because my AC stopped working. PROS: -They were able to get me in pretty quick which was amazing. -They allowed me to purchase my own parts and bring them in (I have a friend who gave me a good deal on parts and they would arrive faster). -Since repairs took longer than stated the got me a rental car. CONS: - Customer service is not the best -They gave me the wrong parts to order. When they went to install the parts, they didn't know they were wrong and caused damage to the radiator because they were trying to force the part to work. -They made me pay to replace my radiator since I bought the AC pump. I made sure to buy the part they told me to get. -The repairs took longer than they stated. -They told me I bought the wrong radiator. I was very specific and asked them which radiator to get. They measured wrong and admitted fault. -They put the radiator (wrong part) that they tried to install in the back of my Explorer for me to return. It leaked fluid all over the back. Thankfully I had a rubber mat. When I showed them the spill, the front desk lady gave me a roll of paper towels. They didn't even offer to help clean it. -I asked for a garbage bag to put the radiator in. The front desk lady told me they didn't have any. I had to ask about the ones they use for the garbage cans. She found one and told me it was their last one as if it was a huge inconvenience to her. Overall the experience was not good and I won't bring any vehicles here again.

If I could give them 20 stars I would! On the day after Thanksgiving I needed an alternator… I called and Juan said they were going to leave at 1:30… But he said I could bring my car. He stayed until the end of the day, repaired my car picked me up from work and brought me to the shop because it was close. Juan is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!

I live in Issaquah, and I could have gone to a shop close to Gilman Blvd., but Ali's customer service is exponentially better than what I've experienced at any other auto repair shop. I've been to Ali's a few times now and will continue to bring my family's cars to Ali's. Sean, in particular, is very responsive, thorough, and knowledgeable. Please check Ali's Bellevue Auto Repair out! You won't be disappointed!

I came in for a routine oil change and asked if they could check whether there was a leak. At no point was I told this would cost extra. When I later saw an “oil leak inspection” fee on my bill, I simply asked if, since it was never disclosed, they would be willing to remove it. One of the staff started to explain things professionally, but the owner, Ali, cut him off. Thankfully, he said he’d remove the charge, but he did so in a rude and condescending way. He told me he “doesn’t do business this way” and accused me of not valuing a mechanic’s time. To be clear: I respect mechanics and the value of their work. What I don’t respect is being billed for something I wasn’t told about. And I especially don’t respect being insulted for politely questioning it. Ali may try to defend his rude behavior here which seems to be a pattern looking at other reviews. I hope this time he accepts the feedback and makes a positive change. Customers deserve more respect than what I was given.

So I didn’t actually have my car fixed by them. I had an accident and my insurance roadside assistance said to have it towed to them. That ended up being a bad idea because they don’t do bodywork which my car needed some of. My insurance kept giving me the runaround. My car was parked on their lot in two spaces. My insurance was telling me they wouldn’t tow it again even though they’re the ones who told me to have it towed there. I couldn’t get a claims rep or anything. he called my insurance for me and gave them my claim number and told them what was going on and that he was going to start charging them for storage. Suddenly, they towed my car for me. He was so kind and so patient with me. He could’ve easily just had my car impounded, but instead he chose to help me. Highly recommend just for the customer service. if I need car work in the future, I would definitely consider going there even though I live in Seattle.

Great work for a good price! Sean has never tried to sell me anything I didnt need, and was upfront with me about cost of what I did. His mechanics always get the work done right, and they're happy to explain what it is that had to be done! A bit of an expensive oil change, but that just says to me that they're paying their team well, and a happy team puts out great work!

A little worried about a weird sound in my Chevy truck and also wasn't sure about whether I was overdue for oil changes and servicing---I bought it used haven't had the truck for long. These guys put everything at ease pretty quickly. Front desk was helpful and they were honest about some things that need attention, but overall I feel like they were working with me to do some services and small auto repairs now, and I'm pretty pleased to come back later for other stuff and have them keep things running okay. Which is good, because I love my new/old truck.

I am writing this to warn anyone considering Ali’s in Bellevue. My 2021 Honda Civic (previously in pristine condition) was sent here for mechanical repairs following a minor front-end accident in November 2025. After holding my car for over a month, Ali’s returned a vehicle that is now a major safety hazard. The issues include: Poor Workmanship: They cut corners using aftermarket parts, failed to replace the engine cover, and left the car missing several bolts, screws, and caps. Mechanical Failure: I was charged for an expensive turbo replacement of questionable necessity. Now, the transmission shifts roughly, the brakes shudder, and there are loud rattling and whining noises that never existed before. Electrical/Tech Issues: Every single engine warning light is on. The remote start is broken. They claimed "calibration failures" for weeks, yet the car clearly isn't calibrated. Body Misalignment: There is a large gap in the hood where parts were not lined up properly. This shop has lived up to its poor reputation. If you value your safety or your vehicle's value, do not trust Ali’s, FixAuto Bellevue, or State Farm’s recommendations. My car is in significantly worse shape now than it was after the actual accident.
