★★☆☆☆ They had good reviews, had done "15 Teslas before", and they had the lowest price in the area so I went to them. Unfortunately, the first replacement windshield had small but obvious waves in the glass and they replaced it, but now this windshield also has waves right in the driver's eyeline (see video). They also did not originally reconnect the wiper fluid line so the compartment filled up with fluid, and the wipers were not aligned properly so they went pass the glass onto the A-pillar. When I showed up the second time, the guy was confused who I was, or what the problem was, and said they were too busy, clearly not communicating properly with the scheduling guy. As for the windshield, they said they lost money replacing the first one and didn't want to do it again because "the manufacturer couldn't see the issue" in the pictures they sent them and wouldn't pay them back. Clearly they need better quality control and methodology dealing with manufacturer issues- such as sending in video inside a light tunnel etc. (I had to back up my car to show them the issue in the daylight since harsh light and a pattern helps to see the refraction warping while the car is not in motion). They said they would send me pricing for an OEM glass install but they never contacted me back which I expected. I understand this is more of a manufacturer issue but this is still their responsibility. I wouldn't care if the car was 10 years old but it's barely 4 months, so maybe it's my own fault for not just going to Tesla in the first place for OEM. Unfortunately this is a case of buy-cheap-get-cheap, and I will be going to Tesla now and paying twice the price for better quality glass.
