Andy's Auto Electric is by far the most organized shop I've ever been to. They handled the scheduling like a Dr's office to include reminder texts. Everyone was very professional and friendly. They found and corrected my issues quickly. One of the issues wasn't quite right and without any issue they had me bring my truck back and they went right to fixing the problem. I will absolutely go back and will recommend them to anyone!

Had my Ford Focus in for service, bad electrical issue involving a faulty wiring harness and set of coil packs. This was an issue I had been chasing for months but I've since learned to throw in the towel and give Andy's a chance, they took my car in and quickly diagnosed the issue, then installed all of the parts shortly after their delivery. The Car was back in working order and I am thankful the stress is over, definitely returning in the future if i ever have to.

If you have an electrical problem with your vehicle; Andy's is your best bet! I love this company because they are honest and very helpful with estimates and keeping you updated on the progress of your repairs. There so kind that they plugged my tire for free after finding a nail puncturing it. They are very reasonably priced and very efficient with speed of repairs. God bless all the employees at Andy's Auto Electric.

This company isn't worth going to. The receptionist has major attitude problems, and can barely function. They will quote you a price and then call back and say they were wrong and charge you more. If you ask for the warranty info on a part you have replaced, they can't give you any real info. They over charge on labor and say it's the computer program that does it but they know it doesn't take as long as the program says to do the work. It's mainly the receptionist that is the problem because she doesn't know what she's doing and is just rude and insulting. They have a sign stating you cant ask the techs or mechanics questions because its going to take away from their work. But then the other people dont know anything because they arent mechanics. I will never bring my money to this company again.

The whole "diagnostics" process was about 30 minutes. They said the harness might be damaged and they cannot do anything about it. I was under the impression this was an auto electric system, including harness, repair facility, turns out it's just some advisory service. Avoid my negative experience and save $135, And disregard if they answer here that there is no record of my visit. Its a damage mitigation trick

Technician abused my SUV causing the telematics system to send warnings to my phone. It registered 12 harsh cornerings, 9 fast accelerations, and 9 harsh braking warnings while at Andy's for a service that didn't require a test drive! The technician left my vehicle running outside of a townhouse at 1120 Chatham Lane; Chesapeake for 48 minutes. I left a message for the owner to call me, but my call was never returned. Never again!

Andy’s electronics auto has great people working for them, but sadly were unable to provide me the required repair work in an acceptable amount of time. It took them 18 days to replace the steering components that they had diagnosed on the first day. After 7 days of not hearing anything from Andy’s I called, and got an update that the vender they ordered the parts from had not delivered the component. For the next ten days I would have to call for the same answer. Sadly, this was solely me asking for updates vice Andy’s providing them. Towards the end of the repair work I had to call daily to, seemingly, remind them I had a vehicle in there care that need repairs. In the end the repair work was good and the guarantee in parts and labor were adequate.

Andy and his team are great. I brought my truck in he had it diagnosed and repaired same day. We have used them for several trucks over the years and have always had a positive experience.

Andy's Auto Electric is exceptional! The entire team is attentive and listens to your concerns. Andy took the time to actually SHOW me the issue with my vehicle and not just tell me. This created a trust that I have never experienced before with a mechanic. I highly recommend Andy and his wonderful team! I cannot thank them enough! Tara

Andy's Auto Electric is phenomenal! The entire experience from the front office staff (Jennifer) to the owner and the technicians are amazing! I had to have my vehicle towed for repair. From start to finish every interaction was courteous and informative. Well done Andy's Auto Electric! Keep up the great work!!!

I was recommended to use Andy’s and I have been very impressed the two occasions I had them work on my 01 Dodge Dakota. I had an engine warning light that came on intermittently for 3 years and none of the other shops I took it to could figure it out. They replaced a crank shaft sensor and I have not seen an engine Lt since. If you have a tough problem, see Andy’s

I'm unhappy and am sharing my experience. They ruined my car. After replacing the negative terminal wire, my transmission no longer holds a charge. They toss the blame. I would not go to them. There constant need for a diagnostic fee, not having any idea what's going on.

This business has ZERO integrity and cares about their customers expense to the same degree. I dropped off my 2017 GMS Yukon on July 22, 2025 for a "driver assist service" light that was on as my mechanic does not have the machine to diagnosis. Between the time I made the appointment and the time of my appointment the "tire monitor system" (TPMS)light came on as noted on the drop off paperwork. I was called that afternoon and was told that I would be charged 2 diagnostic fees even though the "driver assist service" light was not on at that time. I was then called back later to tell me that the tire monitor sensor would be over $500 to replace and that I should go ahead and replace all of them because the other 3 could quit working and that would be $1366.00. I told them I would speak to my husband and call them back. We had no reason to doubt what they were saying so I called them back the next day and told them to proceed. A few hours later they called me back to say they made a mistake on the price and that it was gonna be $1744.00. That the girl that gave me the price was new and she was just trying to give me the best price. So was it now you decided I didn't deserve the best price? This just didn't set well with me and I started to question their ethics so I searched online and asked a mechanic about the cost and discovered it was almost 3 times what they would charge for the same repair. I called back on the morning of the 24th to ask is they had performed the work and was told no and that they were waiting for the part to come from New Jersey and it would be a day or 2. I told them not to complete the work and that I was coming to get my vehicle. When I got there I was charged 2 diagnostic fees of $125 each and a restocking fee of $90 for a part they didn't even have for a total of $367.00 for absolutely nothing. My mechanic replaced the TPMS (the same part) on the 1 tire for $281.00 and said that there was no need to replace the other 3 as they still had a battery life of 85%. I DON'T trust this business and do not recommend

I have been driving with my vehicle dashboard lights not working for the longest time. I drive a 2001 4Runner, and I love the car but it is impossible to see the speedometer at night. I took it to Andy's Auto Electric, and I was quoted a fair price and a reasonable return time, for the work to be completed. They fixed the lights for me and I had my car back the very next day. I did make an appointment, which I highly recommend, but if at all possible, they will do their best to work with you in an emergency situation. These are great folks to work with, and I highly recommend this wonderful business for all of your automotive electrical needs.

I've been taking my e150 here for 6 years. They are the only shop who diagnosed my van properly. They are so fast. I recently brought my van in again to have many different issues fixed along with 4 brand new tires. It was ridiculous how fast they fixed it after it not running for 4 years. I tell everyone about Andy's cause they have saved me on many occasions. The ladies there are so friendly and helpful. I appreciate you guys! Thanks so much for everything!

Do not use this shop if you have any kind of urgency in getting your car back. They’re rude, disrespected our disabled child, and told my husband he couldn’t even wait in the lobby for my son and me to come get him. They sent him outside before we could get there to wait in near freezing temperatures. Customer service here is beyond abysmal. They even had to nerve to argue over the phone with my husband just because he was calling to check the status of his vehicle after they gave us zero transparency on the estimated time this potential repair would take. When we called they hadn’t even started the diagnostic process. If I could give negative stars I would. We’ll never be back and recommend that others avoid this place at all costs.

I’ll provide a recap of events and try to remain as unbiased as possible as to not let my frustration muddy the waters with this. I called Monday at 1025am to get a rough quote regarding a starter replacement for my vehicle. Great conversation and solid quote. Was recommended I get the diagnostic first to ensure the correct repair work gets completed ($135 extra). Sounds good! Was warned this was a drop shop and to have a ride available, which I had no issue with. It was stated that parts for this repair may take a few days to come in and the repair could be finished by Friday, which was not a problem. No mention of how long a diagnostic would take, just the diagnostic and repair total, so I figured diagnostic would find the issue (1 day max), I could take the vehicle back to be used til the parts come in, then drop back off for the legitimate repair. Brought my vehicle up the following day, got there at 750am, just before open. Was able to fill out the paperwork and drop my keys off, no issue. Described two issues: error code by auto zone indicating starter was going bad as I originally believed I needed a new battery, and that when it cold started, it would sometimes make a grinding type noise. Unfortunately my ride took longer than expected, close to 3hrs. I waited in the lobby for roughly 2.5hr since it was below freezing. Other than an 8min telephone call (yes I checked my phone log so I did not misspeak), I was completely quiet the entire time (this plays a part later). I watched multiple customers, and other partner representatives come and go, with several talking to the staff for at least 20-30 minutes (Cintas rep specifically). At roughly 1010am, I was told I needed to leave. It was stated that is the policy and for insurance reasons and that I could walk the roughly half mile up the road to McDonald’s or that shopping center to wait for my ride. I was a bit taken aback but left without much fuss and just waited outside til my ride finally arrived about 15 mins later. I called back to see if there were any updates at 1201pm and there was nothing to report. I called again at 241pm and talked to both front office employees and again no change. I tried to inquire what had been done to try and diagnose my vehicle til this point. It was stated that it only was attempted to recreate the problem via starting the car, based on what was shared and that it may need to be there til the next day. I also tried to voice my concerns while trying to be respectful and was continually being talked over. After the third time I hung up to just pickup my vehicle. After arriving, I tried to discuss in person what frustrations I had as well as discussing the policy of waiting and where that is posted/stated/shared for customer transparency, it is nowhere. The only policy notice stated in the lobby is to not bother the mechanics/technicians to take away from their work. Sounds good to me! I asked for an itemized statement so I can see what had been performed so I can provide that to the next shop so work isn’t duplicated, I was told the shop has been open for 16 years and they operate with integrity. Not a problem! Just wanted an itemized statement of what effort was taken to diagnose things. I tried to ask if there could be a discussion at all, and was bluntly told no. I was told another reason they have that policy is that I was being loud and disruptive in the lobby during my phone call. I eventually got my keys back and was not charged for the diagnosis, which I did not expect but credit where it’s due there. Since then, I went through the reviews for this shop and they are spot on. Like others have said, communication is poor and the front office is unprofessional looking at all the events above played out. It appeared I was annoying them by calling and asking about my vehicle when it was not clear when asking what the plan was to diagnose over multiple days. If a follow up conversation with a manager or owner is warranted, I would be happy to discuss my experience further
