I went in for a repair on my 03 Maxima when I arrived there Andy and his wife were extremely friendly and happy to help but soon after asking for a quote on fixing my exhaust a few seals leaking and to see what else if anything is wrong with it just to price repairs. Right then is when they started pressuring me they say to leave it over night with them and they will look at it.... Then his wife adds, "sometimes it is cheaper and easier to fix while we already have it taken apart instead of putting it back together and waiting to tell me how much". It seemed to make sense at the time so I say "ok just give me a call and let me know if what is happening if that is the case", then I added "I have a $400 limit though I can't really go much over that". They take my keys and I never realize that no contact was signed at that time, I go home and don't get a call till the next day around lunch they say my car is all fixed and ready to be picked up, they also mentioned they the bill was over $500. Confused on how it could be fixed and over the price limit I set I start to try and gather the money up to pay for this. When I get there they say it's running great, I figure at least it is running good now so I pay them and begin to leave. When I'm leaving the exhaust sounds good, there is no oil leak anymore, and the check engine light is gone but I feel a little bit of a shake driving, I think nothing of it until trying to get on the freeway for the first time a week later when it starts shaking instead of shifting and the check engine light starts blinking I barely make it home and call them the next morning to try and get it looked at when, suddenly they are not friendly anymore they say it is not they're fault of something they didn't work on breaks afterwards, without any information on what it's doing and without looking at it at all. When I ask him how he knows it's not something he worked on he said it's because he has common sense, aggravated he says to bring it by so they can look tomorrow. I'm going to another mechanic to get a diagnostic ran instead tomorrow to see exactly what the problem is. I will never go here again and will be suing if the other mechanic finds they are at fault and they do nothing, please don't let the reviews fool you they are scam artists go somewhere else if you want a working vehicle.

Was in a jam. Out of town. Freon leak. Called a half dozen mechanics. Nobody could get the car in, except Andy's. In an hour ,the leak was fixed. Fair price and back on the road.

Andy's is located near Downtown Bryan Texas. My Chevy Colorado's AC stopped working for no obvious reason. They were quick to diagnose failure of my cooling system and did the repair in about 3 hours while I waited. I was very pleased with there service.

Took in a 2009 Honda CRV after engine light came back on after replacing foot valve control, along with replacing a vacuum hose. Code p0507. Getting a code p0507, (IAC VALVE) they charged me for diagnostics filled the steering fluid reservoir as when you replace foot control some leaks out. Told my daughter that if light cam back on they guaranteed their work and would fix. Well light came back on and took it back, then they charged for another diagnostic test and said the IAC valve needed to be replaced. (Basically the old school PVC valve). Quoted me a price of 190 dollars for part with a total to replace of 750 dollars. Well I YouTube on replacement pretty simple, questioned them and they said they had to take off exhaust which is not true! So I took it to another place, fixed for 75 dollars I purchased part from Honda for 120 dollars. Bottom line this auto repair shop is not operating in good faith for it's community or customers. My daughter lives in College Station, of which I don't thought I could find a reputable auto repair but nope. Had to bring car to where I live and do business with someone I trust. I called and told Andy's what had happened, and the lady that runs the service department basically told me so sad to bad! Offered zero compassion or apology! I wouldn't use these folks and will continue to spread the word about their poor service!

The worst experience I had. Took in for repairs for gaskets Head, my quote $1400. Final $2362.00. Not once, was I informed of work the car needed. 2 weeks top, they had for a month. Still I had to take it back, anywho.......... Just go to show you. Tis,tis,tis

Dear Mr. Andy, I don’t even know where to begin, I cannot express how grateful I am for your help today. Thank you for the generosity you showed me, even on this crazy hot Texas summer day. You could have easily said to come tomorrow and not cared about my situation, but you didn’t! you said, to have the vehicle towed to the shop, that you would wait for me. Sir, you didn’t even know me. Right when I began to feel a bit hopeless it was the best response I had in over an hour of trying to figure out how I was going to get though this mess. Your passion for your work was clearly present. But most importantly you showed me kindness. I pray the lord blesses your day your family and you’re business. There are new owners that overcharge for very poor quality work. You'll spend less time and money going to the dealership. Andys outo will improperly fix your car and then charge for labor and parts to fix the mistake. And still may not fix the issues

Disappointed with what I found when I picked up my car. My engine was misfiring so they replaced 1 cylinder and 2 spark plugs. 500$ (whatever) the kicker was when I left the shop my car was smoking incredibly bad. I turn around and have them check it out. Turns out they didn’t even put back on my engine cover and left an air valve to my engine UNPLUGGED. Not to mention my vehicle is still misfiring. So thanks y’all. For the awful expensive nothing. -I can’t reply to your comment however, I had taken my car back as stated in my review above. Car still misfiring, I think I’ll go ahead and take my car to someone a bit more competent (:

DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAR OR MAKE IT WORSE THAN IT WAS. If I could give them no stars I would. Worst experience I’ve had at any repair shop. Went in for a simple diagnostic. I drove my car there hadn’t had any issue with it shutting off or anything. At one point while in their possession they couldn’t even get it to start. They told me I just needed 4 spark plugs and valve cover gasket. Once I received my car back it was smoking which it hadn’t been initially. The vehicle turned off 2x on my way home (hadn’t been doing that before I took it to them). The never said “oh this a serious issue and should be fixed today or you shouldn’t drive the car.” This was Friday I was supposed to bring it back Monday to be repaired. I found someone that could fix it Saturday but as I was on my way to the new mechanic my car stopped and this time it didn’t turn back on. The new mechanic advised me the engine was blown. I paid Andy’s a diagnostic fee of $112 less than 24 hrs prior and they didn’t say anything about the engine being blown. I have no idea what kind of business these people are running but based on other reviews they have a history of ruining cars. If you want to keep your car, take it somewhere else!

Being new to the city is very stressful trying to find someone you can trust to work on your car. I Drove to Andy's stressed out because I didn't know what was wrong with my car. They quickly jumped up to help me, they explained everything to me In detail, the office staff was very generous and friendly, they were very professional and quick they even went above and beyond and put my child's car seat securely back in the car when they were done. To make a long story short, I feel confident again being on the road, and now I know I have mechanic I can trust. My car rides like it's brand new and it's 20 years old. If you're looking for a reliable mechanic shop go to Andy's. Thank you guys for taking such good care of me. God bless.

I had taken my car all over College Station/Bryan Area to get fixed prior years and whether my car didn’t actually didn’t get fixed and I had to take it somewhere else or the cost was ridiculous I struggled to find a reliable place until I came across Andy’s. I am always pleased with not only my car being fixed and knowing they will do a great job but they ALWAYS explain everything they are going to do very thoroughly, they keep you updated and the prices are so reasonable. They are so sweet and make you feel at home. They are really just amazing! Thank y’all for everything 😃

Andy’s use to be my go to shop for auto repairs. But lately their service has tanked. Took our delivery van in for some small issues (needed front brakes, blower was taking awhile to turn on, and it was starting to run on the warmer side). My thermostat was under warranty so they only charged me labor to replace it but proceeded to replace my blower motor (which didn’t fix the problem), replaced my rotors and pads (I’ve taken the van back 3 times due to the grinding sound when applying the brakes and sent videos showing what’s happening and they haven’t fixed it), and they replace the driver side blend door actuator which now constantly makes a popping sound. And yes I’ve taken it back for them to fix that too but again nothing. So after spending over $1100 and them not fixing my issues I will never use Andy’s again.
