HONEST auto repair shop. We recently purchased a '99 Honda CRV's for our son. 1st car... The air conditioning wasn't working. The previous owner told us that it needed a new compressor. In my past experience air conditioning work on a car, outside of a recharge, will start at several hundred and climb up over $1,000, especially at the dealer. I contacted Astro and was informed that a new compressor would be ~$500. Fair price, considering a new compressor is around $150 - $200 and a recharge is another $100 or so... Dropped it off the next morning. When I called back later to get a status, I was informed that it was fixed and it was only a faulty electrical connection to the compressor. I was charged only for the refrigerant refill. $90!!! Let me tell ya, Astro has new customer for life! We have 4 cars in the family. I seriously don't know of many shops that are that honest. I mean, the customer says to replace the compressor . . . and the shop is honest and diligent enough to go the extra mile?! Thank you Astro Auto Repair and God Bless!

I was very pleased with the services that I received from Astros. The owner and his wife know their stuff! They were courteous enough to bring me in and show me exactly what was going on with my car. I would definitely recommend Astro auto repair for any of your car repairs/maintenance! I called last minute on the holiday weekend to see if they could fix a few loose plates under my car and they took me in right away. The atmosphere was very friendly and inviting as well! My fiancé and I will definitely be back that's for sure.

I was nervous coming in and the front desk woman was super kind. I explained what was wrong and she passed it on to the mechanic. We were chatting and watching a movie, it was so pleasant and the next thing you know the mechanic comes up and he is all done. It was very fast and he did a great job. As a young woman I felt comfortable and I know I could trust them and they didn’t lie or rip me off. Amazing experience.

Family owned, Great service, knowledge and respect for customer care. Friendly environment and fast service. Took my car for a diagnose Friday. Took like 30 minutes top. They said they could have the part by Sunday. Went back on Sunday they said it would take a couple of hours so after that the owner of the establishment offered to give me a ride back home. I told them my mom was on her way that it was ok. But other business should learn from them.. that's what I call exceptional customer service.

After trying to get my car fixed for about a month at other shops, I decided to take my car here after reading reviews about a year ago. I can say that this is the Best Family owned auto repair shop in Aurora. The husband and wife make you feel welcomed and he took out the time to show me on a car diagram the exact issue that I was having with my car. He was able to fix my car and pass emissions test on the first try. I know where to go for all my car repairs from here on

Very honest and trustworthy shop! Friendly and nice folks. Brought my truck in for AC not working. They kept it overnight and called me the next morning and dropped my vehicle off at my home with cold AC working. Minor problem and they were extremely nice and honest with the repair. If I could rate this place lower, I would. Absolutely garbage communication and follow through. I contacted them on Monday morning, relayed my car issue, and asked when they could take a look. I was informed that they could do Tuesday morning. I then asked if they could recommend a tow service, since I didn’t think the car was safely driveable. I was told that they’d send their people over to pick it up. They took my name, address, car make and model, and plate#. Tuesday rolls around and I start calling around noon because I hadn’t heard anything and the car was still in my lot. They replied 4 hours later saying that someone would be by on Wednesday morning between 8am-10am. I was told to leave the key in the ignition. It is now 5pm on Wednesday, my car was sitting in my lot with the key in the ignition all day, and I’ve received zero communication. I’ve been without a vehicle for 4 days now, and will be for longer because a reputable shop doesn’t have openings until Monday. I’ve had to ride my bike to work and take time off, all because Astro Auto Repair can’t be bothered to keep their word. Terrible “service”, I will never recommend to anyone.

On a cold early Saturday morning-my day off, I experienced a sudden loss of power steering in my Infiniti, I conducted online search for service shops in my area. Astro Auto Repair came up on a search as the earliest time for hours of operation. I made my trip to the shop. After, previous dealings with various automotive repair shops in the past, I can clearly distinguish from the good, the bad and the ugly. To make the long story short, my verdict is all good! The issue was diagnosed correctly- p/s pump. The price quoted was very reasonable, including the warranty on parts and labor. The correct part was ordered, received and installed with swift quickness. The shop appeared professional; fully equipped for many types of car repairs. The waiting area was pleasant and accommodating. Most importantly, the staff was welcoming, forward, upfront and very friendly. Now, I am back on the road again. The steering feels right and this family-run shop has earned my trust for auto service repair needs. Way to go!

Astro Auto is great! I’ve been going here for a while and they’ve always been extremely quick, friendly, and greatly priced. Today I started driving my car to work and it started making a horrible sound, I was scared something was really wrong. Like the majority of their loyal customers, I went to Astro Auto Repair because a friend told me to try them out. The first 2 times I had work done by them; they were the lowest price quoted compared with 2 other repair shops. The service was and is always excellent. They are very accommodating and their prices are more than fair. I no longer waste my time getting quotes at other shops. I trust them to give me the best price and service. In addition, Jose has gone above and beyond by dropping me off at work while he worked on my car and picked me up from work when the repair was completed. Not many (if any) owners would do this for their customers. I highly recommend them.

Cheapest place around for an alignment! Called 4 places. Worked w me and got the car in same day and did the job while I was at work. Very professional. I've been going to Astro auto for a couple years now I'm a sixty-two-year-old single woman who has a vehicle that they have taken very good care of without charging me too much or taking advantage of me. Very honest kind dependable husband-and-wife family team. Sandra runs the business like a pro and her husband is an excellent mechanic along with a couple other mechanics they have there. I love love them I'm even going to stop in with some lunch for Sandra or maybe a dinner or maybe snack I don't know but it's very welcoming their I recommend Astro auto highly any vehicle year any noises any problems you have with your car just bring it there and they will figure it out. And did I mention very honest and dependable see you soon with my 2005 Toyota again

Went to this shop for a wheel alignment and walked out feeling like I’ve know the owners for a lifetime. It was my first time going to them, but they made me feel completely comfortable about the work they performed on my vehicle.
