I brought my 1987 Ford Crown Victoria here for an emissions repair after it failed for an evap leak. Not only did they identify the problem quickly, they had it fixed the very next morning and the car passed without a problem. These guys were an absolute dream to work with. Jason at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, and the technician who did the work did an outstanding job. Their prices are extremely fair, the work is of the highest quality, the staff is amazing, and they only do exactly what you ask. I will continue to recommend ATAC to everyone I know and they've gained a customer for life.

Found my mechanic for as long as I live in Arizona. I would drive across the state for this place. I don’t mind paying a little extra if I can trust a mechanic to be honest and be straightforward with me. And good, of course. I had been quoted over $5,000 on replacement and repairs for my a/c at another shop and a couple small issues. I luckily came here for a 2nd opinion. I gave ATAC free reign on if they felt that I needed new fluids (brake, transmission, etc), of which would have cost a few hundred, to go ahead and do it. but upon returning they said that all the fluids were fine and there was no point in charging to replace. Also the a/c repairs were nonexistent. There was a disconnected drainage hose and some cleaning it needed. Total bill at the first place $328. Things done: diagnostics, oil change. Total bill at ATAC $153. Things done: diagnostics, oil change, cleaned out a/c blower, repaired issue, replaced a cabin filter that was gone for some reason, and a high five. Thanks guys. I would be willing to pay more because of your integrity and I paid half of the cost of the other place and you did triple the work!

Back in October I was provided a quote from Christian Brothers to fix the AC in my Dodge. It was very high (almost $900) and I decided that I would just drive my vehicle without AC until it gets too hot to do so. Now summer is here and I can't continue to drive my vehicle without working AC but the quote I got from Christian Brothers was insane. I decided to take my car here and they serviced my AC for several hundred dollars cheaper than the quote from Christian Brothers and they topped off my power steering fluid free of charge. My car has AC so cold my fingers are numb and it drives so smooth. During the pandemic my mechanic closed his shop and retired. I've been having a hard time finding a new permanent mechanic. I'm happy to report that this is my new permanent mechanic. Thank you so much for providing such outstanding service. It really made a stressful situation a lot less stressful

These guys are good. I came in with a spark plug issue that I caused. They could have easily ripped me off and claimed it was more than it was. They were honest and let me know the threads on my head were a little dirty. They charged me for the cleaning and reinstall of a new spark plug.

Avoid this place at all costs. I brought my vehicle in for a CV axle replacement inspection, dropping it off around 8:45 AM. Despite the early arrival, they didn’t even begin to inspect my car until nearly 3:00 PM. Afterward, I was quoted over $5,000 to replace basic suspension components, which seemed completely unreasonable. I declined further service, but when I went to pick up my car, I was charged $97 for the inspection—something they had never mentioned upfront. When I got my car back, it was in noticeably worse condition than when I first dropped it off. The staff is friendly, but don't be fooled. I will never return to this shop and will make sure to warn my friends and family about the poor service and hidden fees.

This shop is great. Long story short, I was told by another shop that my truck needed repairs, took it to ATAC for a second opinion and was told it didn't. They made some great recommendations regarding repairs I may want to get done, and I did. Extremely trustworthy and pricing is very reasonable. Ask for Jason, the dude is great! Thanks y'all.

Do NOT trust these boys! They were over caring to “help.” Then took my Miata convertible for a few days to “help” me out and add coolant on a hot Arizona day. What originally was just a “cracked” plastic $60 piece they made up a bunch of excuses on what else they needed to look at. I told them I wanted to wait on the plastic coolant replacement. I had receipts from Firestone not too far from them & a full check 2 months before this event here proving my car was in pristine condition. I left with my vehicle a few days later & Wayne explained they had to take my motor & everything apart when they should NOT have done that. I never ever gave them permission & they did not ask me. Later I asked him why did he not ask me first? He made excuses. I now have a defective battery & he added issues to my engine & they were trying to keep me in business In such a way that they claimed it needed to either needed to be towed or can barely get home. Horrible money making scams on their end. I have someone else I can trust instead who can help me with it since it won’t drive now that they messed it all up. By the way, my plastic is not leaking at all & never was cracked. This company is not trusted & dishonest with loopholes to get more out of you. A few months ago, for my nissan which is a different vehicle than the first here which helped me see clear how dishonest they are over time, they told me over the phone that vehicle was only going to be $4,000 for the transmission & then later it ended up being $6,000. When I confronted them about how I am concerned with their dishonesty, they referenced their “free battery,” they once applied for me to somehow make it all better which is highly manipulative. Be very wary of “how nice” they are. It’s a facade. Keep safe out here & make sure if you have them do you work you have someone like me that knows mechanics. They probably thought they could take advantage of me since I’m a woman but they were wrong. I’m never doing business with them again. Be careful with these guys. Very tricky they are. I’d like to add that they kept verbally claiming how “nice” they were that they gave me a “free” battery taking my other one without permission not communicating telling me this after the fact. 6 months later, I can’t get it under warranty bc it’s theirs and my battery is going bad. I took it to AutoZone and they explained ATAC has a concerning account doing business with them so they were willing to replace it for me because they can tell this place isn’t trusted either based on how it reflects. I am grateful Autozone was willing to help me since ATAC was not trusted. Take care & be very careful. I stay far away never again will they manipulate negatively. I have texts from Wayne telling me women don’t know about cars & when I got angry at him in person putting healthy boundaries down speaking up he made me look crazy & that’s called gaslighting. I know what I’m doing & I’m grateful autozone confirmed I had a right to be concerned recently. I am happy where I am now & a way better trusted experience since learning from this horrible place. Moving forward positivity & Never again will I ever trust ATAC. Another update since leaving them in addition to autozone having to replace the bad battery they “included” for me, Valvoline confirmed they were concerned at the condition they left my transmission cap. They explained it looks like they busted it on purpose & if they did it the right way, they would have put a cap on for me trusted and fixed it correctly instead of leaving it messed up like that. Good to know they caused more issues than necessary. After they knew I was making more income they totally took advantage of me. I do not agree with the unfair tactics as I believe if they were honest they would have made more instead of making more off corruption; that’s not ok. Values matter. Come to find out, the person who recommended them verbally was a family member which I assumed referrals were a good thing & I learned most people in the community since don’t trust these guys either.

I had a coworker of mine recommend this mechanic. I never thought I would be leaving such a glowing review for a mechanic shop, but these guys are freaking top-notch. I had an issue with the fuel pump in my Focus; they initially quoted me 1300 bucks but the bill ended up being just over 1000. Considering the cost of the part was $500 itself, what they charged me was more than fair and reasonable. Everyone I spoke with was extremely pleasant to deal with and took the time to explain what was going on in detail. I can't say enough good things about the shop, they definitely deserve the very high ratings on Google. Will definitely use them again in the future!

DO NOT TRUST MECHANICS HERE. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT AN HONEST MECHANIC. Went in for an oil change and inspection. The tech Left a nail in the side of a tire and didn’t tell anyone. Marked it on the tire but didn’t let us know. We were on a trip and noticed the mark and nail. How is this acceptable? Pictures of the invoice stating “tires all good”

It's a challenge to find an honest auto shop, but look no further. ATAC has always been completely up front with me and they've been servicing my cars for at least 10 years. Honest? Yep--there has been several times when they could've raked me over the coals with unnecessary repairs, but they kept their integrity. Most importantly they treat everyone with respect. My daughter is special needs, and we are working on getting her independent. She recently picked up her car after servicing all by herself, and these folks treated her great. 6/5 stars if I could.

I’ve been bringing my car to this shop for a while, and every time they’ve delivered consistent, honest, and high-quality work. Most recently, I brought my car in for an overheating issue—they diagnosed it quickly, replaced the L-hose, flushed the coolant, did a full check on the system, applied extra sealant for added reliability, and even went ahead and changed my oil and cabin filter while they were at it. They had the car ready in just a few hours, and the price was fair for the level of work and care they put in. Bonus: they picked me up in my own car when it was done—who does that anymore? Reliable, efficient, and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

I have full trust and confidence in this shop. Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and knowledgable, especially Rich and Wayne who most of my interactions were with. Even when I had to take my car to a dealership for specific electrical diagnosis equipment, they talked me through what the dealership was saying and gave me advice. I have felt ripped off and taken advantage of at other auto shops, but sincerely felt that all of these guys were honest and really wanted to help. Can't recommend them enough!
