Austin is a great owner of the previous Craig’s automotive that used to be this business. Austin worked closely with Craig until he retired so you can ensure, even under a newer business name, it’s service is trusted and great. This is the only automotive place I go to after having bad experiences at others. It’s also close to a restaurant or aquatic center so you have options. Austin even drove my Mom home in Snohomish before which was beyond the level of service you’d get. What a caring and great business.

Austen is an honest guy. That's the best compliment you could ever receive from a customer. I've worked with Austin for over a decade and with my kids and wife's cars have spent well over 10k in his shop because I refuse to buy new. He won't replace something that doesn't need to be replaced. I dropped off a car I just bought a Volvo S40, to get a timing belt replacement. Because I didn't know the history (an expensive repair) and he inspected it and determined it wasn't ready to be replaced. I could go on for days about the way he does business. He's trustworthy, reliable and all around the guy you want in your corner when you need help.

I used Austin’s Automotive due to a mishap with my transmission fluid. This shop was able to get my car in and out in less than 24 hours. I have a Subaru and most places I called were either not willing to work on my car because of the parts/tools/fluid that was needed or were booked out for weeks. I appreciate the friendliness of all of the staff here as this was a really stressful situation. Thank you Austin and team! Very fast and efficient. Friendly staff and always on the ball.. my grandfather has been using the same shop for years and was super excited when Austin bought it and restarted the business. They have earned the title of our family shop because we take all our cars to Austin's. My grandfather is a retired master mechanic and has a hard time letting others do work on his cars but Austin is definitely a skilled mechanic and has earned our trust and return business.

I wish I could give them 6 stars! Austin's is absolutely incredible! I needed my power steering hose replaced because I had a horrible leak and they let me bring the part I already purchased and they got me in as quick as their books allowed! The process was easy, the staff was super nice and super helpful, and they did it way faster then anywhere else quoted me! Their fairly priced, do great work, and they're good honest people. I will be returning for any future repairs! A wonderful, respectable business. Thank you guys!!

Since moving to the US during the pandemic, my father in law has overseen my car's maintenance whenever he visits. However, my a/c broke & he wouldn't be visiting til July, so I had to start looking for someone I could trust in the snohomish area with my car & I'm so glad I found Austin's Automotive! I truthfully don’t believe there’s enough kind things to say about not only Austin, but his shop and the entire crew that works there. Time and time again, I’ve turned to him with countless problems amongst a variety of vehicles. Not one time has there been something him (or his crew) hasn’t been able to do for me. Honesty, transparency, and reliability are exactly the things you can expect from this shop. I love this shop and I trust this shop. My experience with interacting with anyone in the shop has been genuine and helpful. Austin doesn’t bullshit you and he just tells you whats up and you can take it or leave it. I lived in Monroe about 2 years ago when I found them and I needed motor mounts repaired on my car, I called around 6 other shops and they all quoted me around $800 but Austin quoted me around half that price and told me I only needed 3/4 done. I started taking my husband’s truck there for oil changes and inspections and it’s been smooth sailing. Now, I was looking to buy a car and took it to Austin for a pre-purchase inspection and he checked it out and told me he found an issue and that I shouldn’t buy the car and if I did happen to buy the car and repair it that it just wouldn’t be worth my time or money. I moved to Bothell and soon moving towards Edmonds and I will continue to travel to Snohomish for this shop because finding a genuine mechanic you can trust is something you don’t wanna give up.

The only shop I will EVER go to, I’ve had a few cars and they’ve always fixed them fast and for cheap. On top of that they are very kind and professional. I just recently I brought my car in a few weeks ago to get it diagnosed, turned out to be a failing transmission and Austin didn’t even charge me to diagnose it. I will always recommend this shop, the customer service is exceptional.

I took my car into Austin's mid summer. I had taken it to a dealership for two recalls and mentioned that the AC wasn't working well. They came back with an estimate of $4500 to repair it. They topped off the freon, said it needed a new condenser in the front and the rear ac line had a leak so it needed replacing too. That seemed a little high to me so I took it to Austin's where my husband went. They did several things to it, including laying under it for 1/2 hour to see the leak. It never leaked. They blew the lines out also. The AC worked perfectly. I went to pick it up and they would not charge me anything. They said we really didn't do anything. This is the kind of small town service I thought was gone. What an amazing place! I will be taking all my vehicles to them from now on.

I am very knowledgeable older Chevy, ford, dodge home mechanic. Performed a steaight forward power steering pump change on my sons suburu.Took it to them because it was still difficult to steer and pump was not functioning as it should despite all my knowledge. Turned out I just didn't have the belt tight enough. Boy did I feel dumb. But instead of taking advantage of my Suburu ignorance and charging me minimum hourly rate for a 10 min fix, they called and said "no charge". When I picked it up the owner explained o me the subtle differences between my knowledge and this newer suburu. I offered to pay something for his time but he kindly refused saying I could catch up with him next time I needed his services. DEFINATELY WILL RECOMMENDED TO FRIENDS AND CERTAINLY TAKE MY VEHICLES THERE IN THE FUTURE. You don't see this kind of customer appreciation much anymore.
