Thank you so much! When I walked in to discuss my concerns with my BMW the young lady was polite and knew exactly what my problem was. She sent a tow truck to pick it up and my car was ready the next day by close of business, not only was I impressed but they are now my go to for everything. I’m one happy customer indeed

I went to get my state inspection. It was super easy to get an appointment. Once I arrived, I was given the option of leaving my car or waiting. I chose to wait and was told it would be about an hour. It was under 45 minutes. Their waiting room is super nice too. Lots of comfy chairs, a complimentary coffee bar and a TV. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond by going through my car's history and didn't try to upsell service that I didn't need. I will definitely be coming here for all my car need in the future :)

Nothing about this place is right. Scheduled me for the wrong day, so I had to reschedule. I went in for a SMOG check and they took over 2 hours, never did the check, said they do not do them and that I have an oil leak. I did not have an oil leak before coming in (just moved and everything was fine beforehand), but now I look under the car and there is a leak now. The man yelled at customers, lied and couldn't do anything right. The woman compensated for his problems and was very nice, she was great. I can't believe all these good reviews when they were the worst I ever experienced.

We brought in our vehicle to repair an oil leak but their gasket repair caused even bigger problems that caused our vehicle to smoke and lose almost all the oil the day we picked it up. Brought it back the next day and they had it for a month fixing their mistake. We called at least twice a week to check progress and every single time they said it would be ready in the next couple days. It wasn’t until we finally inquired about them covering a rental for us (which they don’t do - they will call Ubers for you instead) that our vehicle was magically ready that afternoon. We also paid for them to do a coolant flush as part of the original repair and when we brought it in for the flush the coolant was low - when we picked it up after the supposed flush it was at the same exact low spot - they then did a pressure test and couldn’t find a leak - which leads us to believe the coolant flush was never done in the first place because if they did one and there was no leak - the coolant should have been topped off at full. Liz was nice most times last we called to check progress but there were a few times where she would be very unprofessional when questioning her about issues. It was a frustrating experience to say the least and we felt like we got the run around for a full month. Save yourself time and money and fine a different shop.

The service I received at B&L Automotive from beginning to end was beyond expectations! I brought my car in for two cross threaded lug nuts and while it was there asked for a diag on the passenger seat not reclining. A quote was texted to me before I could call with a question, Dave called correcting an error Liz called daily keeping me up to date on the studs being replaced and the status of the seat. After being told thev would not be able to repair the seat, to my surprise, the AMAZING SERVICE MEN at B&L fixed the seat! I live in Chesapeake and will return to B&L for any future auto mechanic needs. They were fair and provided great service, and that is extremely hard to find. Thank vou to the wonderful team at B&L!

Don't waste your time with this establishment!! Made an appointment online for the next day and selected the time slot provided on their website also selected the year and model of my car. Received an email shortly after appointment request stating that the appointment would not be confirmed until they reach out to me. I didn't get a email until 30 mins after the appointment was scheduled for and it stated the appointment was confirmed for 11 that same day. So I called and spoke with Dave where he stated he could not do it today but could do it 2 days later. But I repeated myself 4 times through the phone call of the year and model of the car, then he finally stated he could not do my car because of the year. So a complete waste of time, they probably need to revise their website and appointment request form. What is the point of making an appointment just for you to contact me after the appointment was set to start. ZERO STARS

While the staff were friendly and the work I requested was done quickly and by all apparances correctly, I am left conflicted due to the cost. For the thermostat assembly and engine coolant temperature sensor I requested changed, I paid $286.98 (approximately 2x dealer quote, not including any gaskets/minor parts + shipping) for parts and $799.89 for labor. I paid an additional $210.89 for coolant. This work was quoted at being a 4-6 hour job meaning labor was between $130 and $200 an hour. While I didn't have another good option that was in walking distance of my home, I will consider having work done elsewhere and just pay for the transportation next time.

I made an appointment to have my trailer inspected with a young lady and that was as easy as picking a day and time. On the day of the inspection, I had the pleasure of chatting with a mature gentleman. The inspection was completed before we were even done talking!! FANTASTIC PEOPLE!!! FANTASTIC WORK!!! AWESOME ENVIRONMENT!!! 6-⭐️!!

I had engine issues off the interstate. Barely pulled in to the parking lot. The staff and receptionist were amazing and very help. Very reasonable and professional. I recommend 10/10.

Avoid this shop unless you are prepared to risk paying for services that are never completed. The employee named Liz has shown a clear lack of professionalism and integrity, charging customers for work that is not delivered and responding with hostility when concerns are raised. Yelling at customers and refusing to take responsibility is no way to run a business. It is best to find an auto repair shop that values honesty, transparency, and respect.

So I have always given auto repair shops several opportunities to see if they are reliable and fair pricing. This business has had a large number of negative reviews recently and after being grossly overcharged for a simple repair of a temperature sensor and charged twice on same bill for reset of my TPMS tire sensor I can understand why so many people make extreme negative statements . No phone call to explain repair diagnosis, just an email to authorize the extreme costs. If you are one of the lucky people who get great service congrats. I can definitely state I'll never spend another dime at this business. Lesson learned and no reply is required to this review as I Dont care to hear any explanation or excuses.

Had my son's truck towed on Friday, 31 Jan 26, for a bad starter. We had other maintenance done, oil leak, plugs and wires, along with a full inspection. The oil leak was from the valve covers and oil pan. All repairs w were done in a timely manor, finished late afternoon 3 Feb 26. We've had other repairs done in the past and have always been not than satisfied with B&L. We highly recommend them.

Always very friendly and professional! Great communication! A pleasure to deal with! The lift kit install went great, and my truck rides better than before! And another great appointment! Well over three years with their professional team and still very satisfied! Service on the car last week, and truck going in this Saturday for routine maintenance. Added a Jeep to the rotation at B&L, and the lift came out great! Thanks again!

My husband made the appointment in person and clearly explained we needed both a state inspection and a vehicle appraisal to determine the car’s value. We paid in advance for the inspection, and were told we’d get the appraisal pricing at the appointment. I brought the car in, and after the inspection, Liz texted me a list of things supposedly wrong with the car, along with a $200 charge, but no appraisal. When we asked about it, Liz suddenly said they don’t even do appraisals. When my husband respectfully reminded her of their earlier conversation, her attitude changed. She got rude, denied what was said, started yelling at him, and even told me to leave, before my car was even brought back out. I had just paid for a service I didn’t need. There was zero accountability and not even an apology for the confusion or her behavior. It was unprofessional and inconsiderate. Read the reviews, plenty of people have had similar experiences. I do not recommend this place.

I was driving up to Williamsburg from Virginia Beach and my radiator had a crack in it. They were really speedy on fixing it and worked with me to help me get in and out of their shop. They said it would be four hours but turned out to be only two! They helped apply a lot of deals for me and was very much pro customer instead of pro sales. 10/10 would go back if I didn’t live so far!

The B&L Staff are true professionals. They were upfront about their services, beat out competitors quotes, and went the extra mile to deliver the best price possible. They quoted the work I needed and completed all repairs in a day. Highly recommend this shop for any of your automotive needs.

My wife Alexus Shepherd took my dodge there and I tell you what if you are looking for good pricing, honest work, and a company that still believes in customer service then you will drop off here to have your work done. I mean what other company will let you know if you have any other issues bring it back, and.if for any reason it breaks down again call them and they'll come pick me.and the truck up. (It was electrical issues. ) Thanks BL

First, the building is immaculate. Very well organized, tastefully decorated, and clean facility. The waiting room was a very comfortable place to be. The shop is also very clean and organized, indicative of a good organization. The work they did on my Toyota Tundra was great too and done ahead of schedule. The people are friendly, professional, and courteous. Prices are also reasonable. I will be bringing all my vehicles to B&L in the future.

I've actually used B&L a few times and have had amazing service each time... until recently. Last month, went in person to schedule an appointment for a state inspection. They gave us a date and time, we dropped off then. We called a few hours later to get an estimated completion time so we could plan our day, the lady (who says she's the manager), said "oh I was supposed to call you" then proceeds to tell me the inspector will not be there until the middle of January. So why did they take my appointment? Second incident, I made an appointment over the phone with a male. I drop off at the said date/time (8:30am). Had to get brakes and an oil change. Again, no call with an update, so I called them at 4:00pm. Same lady helped me and after placing me on a few holds, she found out my car wasn't done and then asked if they could keep it until Monday (it was Friday). I said absolutely not and she agreed to have me bring the car back at 8am on Monday. Also agreed the vehicle would be complete by 10am and agreed to give me a discount (bc they had to special order my brake pads?). I asked if the oil change was even completed, but she said "I think so", FYI, it was not. We get there Monday morning before 8am. Their door has posted hours of 9am opening, google says 8am. I wait until 8:02 to pull the door and it's locked. Wait a little longer and no one comes. So I leave. They never called me either to see if I was still dropping off. Unsure what's been going on with them, but service has not been up to their normal standards. I went to Cliff's Auto both times and they were able to help me with 0 issues.
