Waited until my second experience here before writing this review. I had my Audi A3 repaired here twice now. First time for a oil leak and second time when my rear window wouldn't roll up. I called around to multiple shops before settling on this shop due to the good reviews and the fair price. Our car was repaired well and even got a wash. I think the main aspect for the 5 star review is that I appreciate is their honesty. Some shops will find "random" things wrong with your car after you drop it off but I never had that experience here. I never felt pressured here to fix anything while talking with Bao. Highly recommend if you need any repairs.

Today was my second visit to the shop. I needed a lube, oil & filter, which is affordably priced at B.T. Auto Wrench. During the service, an issue was discovered that didn't need repairing right away. However, it would be convenient for me to have it done today, so I asked if the part was in stock. They said yes, but they'd need to pick up the part. It turns out they went all the way to Lemon Grove to get the part to complete the repair today. That was beyond my expectations, and I am thoroughly impressed they were willing to do that. The service is great, and the staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this shop.

This shop was a great experience. I found them through the reader for a smog. I needed repairs first and they quoted me the lowest price I had come across. They allowed me to borrow a loaner car for the 24 hours my car would be with them. Bao at the desk was nice, polite and explained everything to me. I felt comfortable dealing with them and I would recommend them to anyone. Actually I already have to a few friends and my mother.

I've been going to this shop since 2018. B.T Auto Wrench provides fast and friendly service. I had a problem with my check engine light. The issue was found and fixed with no delay. It's difficult to find a honest auto shop these days. Bao really goes the extra mile. Run to this shop. I will definitely be returning. Returned 3/2023. Bao found the latest issue with my car, and got me an estimate quickly. Fair repair prices as usual. A++++ UPDATE: 2025 - B.T AUTO WRENCH 🔧 helped me again! Smog time rolled around, I needed more repairs. Not only was my vehicle fixed fast, he even smogged the car & saved me a trip of going elsewhere. Best shop in SD!

They always find time to squeeze you into there and your schedule. They do good work and they're honest about it. That was 3 years ago. I'm editing this review because I had them install an engine. I should have never done this at this place. The technician destroyed my transmission when placing the engine into the vehicle. I had to ship my transmission back to Japan costing me $1,800. My transmission was less than 2 months old and would no longer function when they put the motor in. More recently I realized that all the gaskets that they did on the motor when they installed the motor are no good. It's been 2 years but I've driven it less than 3,000 miles. They have refused to do any repairs on their workmanship. When I ask for prices now they're $200 or $300 more than they used to be. I won't go here ever again.

Got an oil change here recently then went on a long road trip and ended up having issues on the road that weekend with losing the lower engine cover. We thought it might have been related to the oil change they had done so came back and they covered the work and replacement costs even though they showed it wasn’t related to a mistake on their end. Really friendly workers and super fast and responsible. Will be back!

Recently had an issue with my vehicle sputtering. Brought it to the shop owner and informed him of the concern. Diagnosis was performed and an unrelated service/repair was performed. After completion of the repair, the SHOP OWNER states "continue to drive on it, should go away". Not only was an unrelated service performed, the issue still exists! In addition to this, in the "future recommendations" section of my receipt, it mentions to have an additional service performed. Might I add, the recommendation was STILL unrelated to the sputtering issue. Can no longer recommend this repair shop!

I have brought all my vehicles here and I am from 3 hours away, the quality and honesty can’t be beat I run a fleet and my team and my safety are important, I even have them pampering my daughters car to ensure it’s safe for her, it’s an older classic truck so their abilities aren’t just pump you in and out, they make me comfortable they answer all questions, I own 8 service based companies and these guys keep us moving, I don’t even care really about the pricing because I have every peace of mind for all my teams, and their pricing is reasonable, especially with the extra mile and good feeling I have, no upsales perfect software to keep me up to date “love it”, I was referred to them, which means the person liked them as well.

I had major engine issues with my 98 Dodge caravan. A quote from other shops would have cost 7 thousand dollars and a month in other mechanic shop. This mechanic shop was highly recommended. I called and got a hold of the staff on the phone. They did all the legwork and provided me with a quote of 4 thousand dollars and 2 weeks in the shop. Honest, reliable, dependable and trustworthy mechanic shop i have had the pleasure to have worked on my van. Definitely a shout out to Bao for being a friendly and helpful scholar and a gentleman.

This is a long owned review for this place. I cannot express my gratitude to Bao and team for their professionalism, honesty, reasonable prices, and great customer service. I had a lot of issues with my BMW and they were the best to deal with them. They even guided me on many occasions on how to show my mechanic in my original town on how to fix things. I live ~ 45 miles up north from them but I still take my car down to them whenever I have an issue because I just know they’re the best at what they do! Look no further when you have issues with your car because these guys are very knowledgeable and trustworthy!

I was recommended this place by Kevin from Lo Sieu Smog Test Center, and I’m really glad I came here. I drive a 2011 Honda Civic with about 255k miles on it and was having EVAP issues, but BOA diagnosed the problem quickly, explained everything clearly, and now the car is running great. I’m new to this place, but based on this experience, I definitely trust their work — honest, professional, and very helpful. Highly recommend.
