These people are awesome! I had an appointment for new tires today (which I was quite late for I must add) and they had my tires installed in 20 minutes! I highly recommend this place if you like awesome service and friendly staff.

I have been a Barnsley customer for years and my service at their old location was always great. However, my experience at the new location has been sub par. While the tech did a great job helping me find niche tires for my vehicle and everyone is always friendly, the staff promised that it would be easy to maintain the tires with their ‘free tire rotation’ service. Unfortunately, every time I try to use this service I have to schedule it weeks in advance and the 15 minute task takes well over an hour. In fact, every time I’ve brought my vehicle into Barnsley in the last two years, the wait time has been longer that it should have been by at least an hour. I regret purchasing my tires through them and am frankly stoked for my next set with a different business who can uphold their service promises. Overall, dealing with Barnsley has become more painful than the dentist.

Ok, once they finally get around to working on your car. Even with an appointment - which they lose half the time- the wait can be hours. Other shops manage to make appointments, get the work done and send you on your way. Barnsley work is good but their time managment is awful -- makes it a painful experience to get your tires swapped out.

I had my first flat tire and this place took care of it very quickly. I brought the wheel in with the tire on it and they were able to patch it during a very busy time. They even stayed past closing time to do it which I was really grateful for. The staff is kind and was very supportive in my time of need. I will be back (hopefully for just routine services!)

Excellent customer service!! We live in Hawai’i and came to Boulder for the weekend to attend our daughter’s CU graduation We stopped in to schedule an appointment for her Toyota Tacoma. Instead of just scheduling an appointment, they were so kind to have Steve from the service department take a test drive with us to see what caused the problem. We returned to the shop and another gentleman who was working on a car stopped what he was doing to take time to have a look at is well. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Five star rating! Thank you!

I've relied on Barnsley for tires & service for years. The staff & everyone are just top notch nice people and always helpful. I know in an emergency they are there to take care of a flat tire or any problem..always get me right in. They also are very fair on price and recommendations for new tires. Came by cause I wanted their opinion on a flat I had gotten. They let me leave my car there so I had time to research and not feel rushed placing an order. Pleasantly surprised that they installed the tires and was ready for pick up the same day I placed an order online! Very nice family owned shop, thank you 😁

It's quite clear that this is no longer the same owners as the Barnsley Tire that was located off Pearl and Folsom. My family and I have been purchasing tires from Barnsley for over 30 years and I sad to say that after today they will no longer have our business. I don't expect people in the car maintenance world to be overcome with joy doing their job, but give it a try and it might help your business. The guy who helped me was just rude and I felt as I was inconveniencing him. Also, I know I was just getting my summer tires swapped out for my winter, but take some pride in your work and at least try to clean up the sidewalls. It took me a couple minutes when I got home to clean up your techs mess. I hope you guys don't mount new tires this way. Sadly I will never know because I will not be a customer in the future. Unless they have a great deal on some tires, go to Big O or Discount where maybe they value their customers.

Went in to grab tires and landed in the right spot. I was referred by Caliber Collision on Valmont. The staff were friendly, very helpful, and made it easy. Very professional staff that helped me choose the right tires. Pricing was on point. No fuss and very quick. Clearly, a family run business that outshines the rest. They do quality work, don't scratch up your rims and make the entire experience painless. Highly recommend. Pleasure to do business with.

I was very excited to use Barnsley after being in Boulder area for 13 years.. New tires were mounted and after 10k front were taking serious inside wear. The first tires lasted 20k and wore evenly all round.. When I went in and asked to be told if the front tires were balanced or not? They told me that I needed an alignment before even looking at the car. I asked to be told what the balance of the front tires was and they said no. Not coming back ever...

Asked if they had a road force balancing machine and they assured me they did. After my second set of tires that ended up out of balance and needing to be redone somewhere else, it turns out they *don't* have a modern road force balancing machine! The guy assured me "oh, our guys are really good, they don't need that machine"--which is a lot of nonsense. Not coming back.

I used to bring my car here for tires when it was still owned by the original owners. Sad to say the new lady that owns it knows nothing about cars and less than that about customer service. After getting my car worked on last year they didn’t tighten the lug nuts back up. READ THAT AGAIN- the tire place didn’t secure my tire. While doing 65 miles on the highway my tire came off. Could’ve killed me or someone else. The owner avoided taking responsibility. Said she’d call her insurance and never did. My car had body damage due to their negligence and she just ignored taking care of it. They fixed my tire, and then it continued to go flat bc they didn’t put it on correctly. You are better off taking your car to Discount Tire. Barnsley has gone downhill with this new ownership and their mistakes could have deadly consequences that they don’t seem to have any interest in rectifying.

As good as Barnsley was at their old location, they’re bad at their new one. I was talked out of the tires I wanted and into a Toyo tire. At 27000 miles (for a 60000 mile rated tire), I’ve been told that these tires are no longer legal and that they doubt they’ll survive a 2000 mile trip. And their commitment to the products they sell… nothing! What a pity, they were so good back in the day!

This is a suggestion for the Barnsley Tire staff based on my recent experience there: I waited for 2 hours for my tires to be changed, which they told me would happen. After that time passed, I went to the front desk to pay. (no one bothered to alert me that my car was ready, but I saw that it was). I waited in line to pay and get my key back for about 10-15 minutes while the woman at the desk (who knew I was waiting) talked at length on the phone to a customer. Another staff member at another desk was with a customer who he helped for quite a long time, and he waved me off when I asked for my key, saying he was busy. Finally another customer ( in line behind me )asked a man in the back, sitting at his desk, to help me, which he did. My suggestion is this: Please give the customers who are in your store and have already waited for 2 hours the curtesy of getting off your long phone calls and let them pay and leave. Or at least have someone who is designated to just do check ins and check outs. It is not a great experience to have to wait 2 hours, and then on top of it be ignored by your staff when this time (and more) has passed.

I would like to shout out the workers here at Barnsley. I am from out of town and had a rental car on our way to Estes Park with a car filled with groceries and found a nail in our tire as we started our drive. We called and drove to multiple tire shops, and shared our situation. Many told us 2-4 hours wait time and seemed to not care for us. We then drove to Barnsley and told them our situation and emphasized with us moved quickly to get our car into the shop. they told us it would be about an hour wait as they moved our car up to the top and graciously allowed us to use their employee fridge for our groceries, which was never offered to us by any other shops we had gone to. I understand restrictions and policies, but at that moment I felt like the workers Barnsley actually cared about us as people. Within an hour we were back on the road. I cannot thank them enough for their customer service and kindness. I always believe a business should be measured by their price and customer service, but a lasting impression by a business will always be their customer service. And they excelled that for two people in a stressed time in a time crunch.

Used to be a great company until it was sold to the current owners. Long... hour to two hours wait for 30 minute tire service actions (nail puncture repair, rotation). Notification of no more tire rotations included with purchase of over priced tires at usable end of life. Told that tire warranties run out based on annual time, not milage, after the purchase. Not worth the higher price anymore. What was once an honorable full service tire dealer is no more. Hope the prior good owners made out well on the destruction of their well respected company.
