Customer Service was great. Good communication. Assuming results will be great, but with autos you never know how long service will last. Pricing seemed OK to maybe just a bit high, but if service holds, then reasonable. Overall, very good experience. I will be headed back for my next servicing.

From start to finish I had an amazing experience, Derek was super knowledgeable (not sure if I’m spelling his name right) my check engine light went on over two months ago and unfortunately, I’m not very knowledgeable with where I should bring my car in these types of circumstances so I brought it to a Firestone full auto care. I found out it was an EVAP system issue specifically with the EVAP purge valve I allowed Firestone to replace the part and Let’s just say they don’t have the same experience that Bellingham automotive has. I pretty much got work done at Firestone and It was done incorrectly and they refused to really check their work I had to go in 4 times just for them to lie to me and tell me the part is working fine, so I kept driving around with the check engine light on with the same issue with my car, basically not starting whenever I would fill gas having to continually go back to Firestone and basically beg them to fix it.. they kept saying it was fine and it must be another issue and then having me pay to get other things done that ended up having nothing to do with the issue. I brought it here and they immediately found the problem. I got gas last night and my car is working fine check engine lights off and I’m very happy about the work they’ve done. They use high-end parts If you have parts on a car that are going bad. Everyone there has full knowledge and will gladly give you detail on what they’re planning to do to fix your car, They give you rides to and from wherever you need to go, the office is clean the men in the front are well dressed, smiling, and may I say attractive. It’s just the best experience hands-down I’ve ever had with any kind of auto anything. They deserve five stars and a raise. Thank you for all of your hard work and keep up the good work.

Alternator failed on the way to work so dropped off at Bellingham Automotive early. They tested and swapped it without extras, mentioned corrosion from the damp weather here. Wait stretched a bit from parts delivery but they loaned a charger for my phone.

Pro as it gets. Think of them like a good doctor, you may not like some of the news about your ride but now ya know. Lovely people and the shuttle service is fantastic. Trust.

Had boots/axle done, took it out a matter of I think it was a week one of the boots leaked- had to take it back. Had front brakes done- lasted about 15 months- my front brakes usually last me about 3 years. I had them adjust my valves I’m hoping that was done correctly. I’m tired of independent car places always telling you that when you do your front brakes you always have to get new rotors. That I know is not true. Eventually yes, but not every time. I’m going back to Honda. Plus the independent shops are not all that less expensive than Honda.

Exhaust rattled loose after hitting a pothole so I brought it to Bellingham Automotive mid-morning. They welded it back quick without extras and noted rust from the rain here. Shop had free wifi but the coffee tasted burnt by then.

Best experience ever in the world of car repairs. They are amazingly organized and friendly. Gary was so helpful. He spent the time to explain what was going on with my truck, the cost and timeline. Serg did an amazing job diagnosing and repairing. I drove away with my truck sounding and driving better than it ever has. I highly recommend them.

These guys are great—in particular, Tyler. I never had to call or chase anyone to give me straight answers. Tyler took care of everything and always communicated well. They even did everything they could to avoid charging me extra money. Highly recommend!

The cost was just below the estimate which is always a good thing. My service was done very timely as quoted as well. An inspection of my car was performed with a few items identified, which is good to know. Good interaction with the personnel too.

Very disappointed with my service, as I am for any car mechanic shop. I brought my car in due to some dash lights being on and assumed it was a sensor malfunction. They did an entire inspection of my car, quoted me around $293 for the inspection, I get a call back with my results and then am quoted an additional $500+ for minor repairs. They did the wheel sensor & a bulb replacement on a blinker/back tail light. They informed me of a possible oil leak I thought I had repaired over at Jiffy Lube across the street, so they ask to do another inspection which I agreed too. I get ANOTHER call on the day of pick up informing me my total was going to be around $745 and that all the work they did on the car actually wasn’t the issue at all and they wanted to do another $300+ inspection. At this point I picked my car up and just paid the $745, and decided to not get my car repaired here afterwards. I know prices have gone up lately and car work is expensive, but I paid nearly $800 for nothing to be even fixed on my car besides a blinker! They told me that all the repairs total (that they guessed MIGHT be the repair needed) would be around $2,000. I just think it’s ridiculous they fixed NOTHING on my car for $800, and then I paid that price to be told I need to spend another $2,000 MINIMUM to maybe get my car fixed, but it might have a deeper underlying issue they’d need to inspect for which is another $200-300 each inspection. Maybe I’m out of touch but car inspections should not be running me almost $1,000 especially when nothing was being fixed on my car!!

The service and communication were excellent. Derek kept us informed about all issues and provided price-level options for many of them. Their communication systems use informative technology, while still providing a human touch. All our concerns appear fixed beyond our expectations. This was our first time using Bellingham Automotive, and we will definitely use them again.

I felt well-treated by the company. I submitted an online message and received a call soon after the business opened on its next business day. The establishment appears professionally run, and the reception and waiting areas are inviting. The service I had done, I believe, was a little more expensive than a dealership shop would have charged. (I assume independent shops have lower labor charges.) But I appreciated the time and effort expended on explaining to me what the vehicle inspection revealed, so I think that was a plus. I mentioned what I feared was an issue with the vehicle, and I was happy that they could find nothing wrong (instead of trying to upsell me on something). What’s more, they fielded questions from me about the issue and whether it was a common problem on makes/models such as mine. Their answer put my mind at ease.

Nice people. I called trying to swing an appointment for a pressing matter and at first I was told I'd have to wait until next week but the guy then asked what the problem and since it really wasn't too difficult of a fix to him he said I could drop it off in the morning the next day and they'd look into it for me and see if they could get to it. They did manage to make time for it and we're very good with communicating about prices which I appreciate. Also I didn't realize they have a shuttle service to get you back home. Anyway, super happy with how they worked with me, highly recommend.

Not only did they not preform the full 87,000 mile service, but they gave me the okay to drive. When I took it to the dealer to have them further inspect, they said it was NOT recommended to drive and ended up costing $5,600 that could have easily gone to them instead. They also unplugged my steering wheel controls and backup camera which Best Buy hooked back up within 10-15 minutes; something they couldn’t in a day. Never going here again.

Service was good, and they offer a free shuttle home if you live nearby. The staff were friendly and communicative, and they completed a decent amount of work on my car and returned it quickly. Pricing felt a bit on the higher side for some items. For example, I was quoted $100 for a cabin air filter replacement that cost about $16 to do myself. I initially brought my car in for a clogged sunroof drain, which they fixed. Afterward, I noticed there was still a leak—this time due to a drain tube that had come undone. I’m not sure whether this was caused during the original repair or was just a coincidence, but when I brought it back, it wasn’t treated as a clear comeback repair. I asked about a discount on the second visit and they gave me $50 off, which I appreciated. That said, given how quick the fix was and how soon it happened after the first visit, I felt it could have been handled as a courtesy repair. Overall, good service and turnaround time, but pricing and how the follow-up issue was handled kept this from being a higher rating

Tyler and Derrick at Bellingham Automotive are exceptional. They’ve taken great care of my 7.3L power stroke. In my 15 years of using mechanics, this team is by far the best. Bellingham Automotive made us feel at home. They’ve taken care of us for over the last year now and we will always use them. 10/10
