Women, be cautious — I do not recommend this place. I came here for a simple wheel alignment because I started noticing a slight shake in my car. Instead of doing the alignment, they told me my entire suspension basically needed to be replaced. Then they refused to do the alignment and told me to go to the dealership for a suspension inspection — which they said I could bring back to them so they could do the work cheaper. That made no sense. Why would I pay a dealership (who everyone knows charges a ton) just for another inspection when this shop already looked at my car? After that red flag, I went to a few other shops for second opinions. Turns out, there is nothing major wrong with my car. I even returned to America’s Tire, where I recently got new tires, and they rebalanced them. Another trusted shop actually took the time to show me what he was doing and walked me through everything — he said my car was in overall good condition, and maybe just the air filter needed replacing. After reading other reviews, I saw I’m not the only woman who felt taken advantage of here. From my experience, it really does seem like they try to upsell unnecessary work — especially to women. Please be careful. Don’t waste your time or money here. Always get a second opinion.

I can't say enough good things about Blue Star Tires & Auto Repair in Sacramento. Every time I come here, their technicians are always super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They never try to upsell or tell me I need services I don’t, which is something I really appreciate. When I bought my tires here, I was impressed by their fair prices - honestly, you won’t find a better deal in town. And on top of that, they offer free tire rotations when you buy tires from them, which is something other places in town just don't do. But the standout feature for me is their excellent customer service. These guys are straight shooters, and you can trust them to give you honest advice. Beware!!!! Today this Shop Destroyed my $1500.00 Billet Racing Weld Wheel while installing new Tires..Then tried to hide the Damage by adding 8 extra Tape on Wheel Weights over it! They also broke my metal Valve Stem and put a Rubber Stem in its place which I cant use on my Car by NHRA Laws. I now also need to remove Tire to replace with a Metal stem. They offered me nothing for all this damage caused by their incompetent worker and actually charged me $40.00 more than my original estamat. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! THESE GUYS ARE HACKS!! I will use another shop to fix their work its not worth my saftey to have them attempt to fix it!!!! This was on 8-2-2023

Ended up getting a pretty big bolt in my tire, and needed to replace my tires anyways, and this was the closest place that was open. They were really quick, and replacing all 4 tires included a free alignment, no complaints about anything, the employees were really nice, did the work pretty quickly, and the price was very reasonable. All in all I'd say 5/5, great service, now that I know about the place I'd definitely come back whenever I need service in the future.

Low pressure indicator came on for one of my tires, however my car isn't kind enough to let me know which tire that is. I stopped in to see if they could check my air, the gentleman was able to help me right away, did all four tires (all were low due to colder weather) and sent me on my way. When I offered to pay something he refused. Soooooooooo nice!! This is something I dread doing myself. I'm usually in a dress trying to manage the air hose and a dirty gas station parking lot. This just really made my day. Another shop wanted to charge me $5 a tire, insane!

Super friendly, honest no pressure sale--I was looking for truck tires and Ali hooked me up. Priced out a few corporate locations and local shops in town--Blue Star had the best price and they include a free alignment (toe, camber & caster) with purchase of 4 tires--everybody else charges $100 just for an alignment. They also include free rotation and tire plugging with tire purchase. They do mechanical work too, they were helping a lady with valve cover gaskets and a transmission leak, prices were very reasonable. If you want the best price in town on tires + free alignment go see these folks, they've earned my business for life.

Took my 2017 BMW 320i into Blue Star Tires & Auto Repair,after noticing some slipping and weird noises from the transmission. I was honestly bracing for the worst, but from the minute I walked in, the team made me feel like I was in good hands. I took my car in for tire repair service was great. Pricing was great but just yesterday I wanted to do a tire rotation on my car. I could not loosen the lug nuts. They were way over. Tighten too much. I use my impact gun cannot take them off. I use my air gun. I was only able to remove three and the other two I cannot take them off so I used a long extension from my Jack, that was the only way for me to remove the last two Lugnuts. I think their staff should at least torque the Lugnuts to the specified manufactures specifications instead of the Lugnuts over tightened. What if I would’ve gotten stranded with the flat tire and I couldn’t takeoff the wheel off because the Lugnuts were over tightened?

Great experience, super kind and fast. Called at 9:50, was told I could come in for the oil change at 11. Got there at 10:55 and they immediately started. Made it home by 12, only delay was lack of an oil filter on hand (old car) but I had one and they had no problem installing it. Thanks! Definitely coming back for my transmission fluid and AC recharge

Found this place on yelp and went there this morning as they were close to my apartment. Ali took my vehicle in right away and quickly & professionally swapped the wheels for me and he and technicians were just so friendly that I thought I was speaking to my friends!
