A friend recommended this shop almost four years ago. That first visit made me decide to make Specialty Motors my to go shop. The service is great and the intake personnel have laways been courteous, responsive and truthful. I have told several people about this shop. Only one has needed its service and she was very pleased with it. The new ownership seems to be set on maintaining the same level of professionalism. I recently took my car to have the water pump changed, it was handled very well. I strongly recommend Specialty Motors to anyone that owns a Toyota like i do.

Anastasia and her associates were great to work with. Recently brought my 02 Sequoia in for some routine maintenance when the original radiator finally gave out. My wallet is still crying but they had a new radiator and hoses in by the end of the next day. All oem too, which is a bonus. They gave me a detail breakdown of their pricing and I'd say it was more than reasonable for the quality of the work they do. If you're looking for a new shop and don't want to pay dealership prices, I highly recommend checking these guys out.

One of the few places left that you can trust. I brought my car in for what was a suspected issue, and they could have easily done the work and charged me hundreds, but they instead told me my car was just fine. I brought it in to have my ignition checked out and for an inspection. I was promised to have an estimate before the day was out, only to be called after hours to tell me they wouldn't have anything till tomorrow. It turned out the car was finished being looked at that same day and sat for a full day while they failed to track down a part I found online in five minutes. On top of that, they didn't even do the inspection they promised me to do, saying they spent all the time (TWO DAYS!) on tracking one part down, and shrugging while charging me over $200 for the overpriced estimate they finally gave me. Absolutely outraged and seriously considering taking them to court. Avoid at all costs unless you hate your time, your money and your sanity.

Broad Stroke Japanese is a life saver. I had a dead battery due to a failing starter. I called Broad Stroke because my brother-in-law who is mechanic in California recommended this shop to me. I am so glad that I did. Broad Stroke got my Subaru Crosstrek in the same day and went out of their way to get a starter for me so that my car would be up and running by the end of the day. They also did my 60,000 mile service the same day. They were up front about costs for services and gave me a detailed report on what they did and what they would recommend in the future. They use high quality parts, better than the dealer, and made the right recommendations for service based on my mileage. The front desk person Juliana was also super sweet, helpful, and very communicative through the process, keeping me updated on the status. I truly appreciate this shop, will be using them from now on, and highly recommend them to other Subaru owners.

I was hesitant to take my Hona Element back to this shop ever since new ownership took over, but I gave them a shot last week and they nailed it. A lot has improved. The inspection reports are detailed and go the extra mile to keep you informed about what to look out for in the miles ahead. The person running the front is infectiously personable and knows her way around a car. The work was done quickly, and they called me a few days later to make sure I was satisfied. Took my car to Broadstroke to have a wheel bearing replaced. In checking it out to confirm that that was what was needed the technician found a number of other items that were in need of fixing. Broadstroke fixed all of the crucial items and listed other smaller things that could/should be looked into in the future. I had them do the crucial things and will arrange to have the rest done at a future date. I am happy with the service and quality of work performed.
