I've had to bring my vehicle here for numerous repairs and have been absolutely satisfied each time. They're very easy to deal with, don't overcharge, and do an excellent job. Seeing as how I got my vehicle at an auction, and its previous owners weren't exactly up to date on vehicle maintenance, I'm sure it will need more work at some point in the future. When it does, I will definitely be bringing it back here!

Excellent service. I have been coming to Budget Automotive for over 10 years, they have worked on 3 different vehicles of mine. I always call around to get estimates but always come back to Budget. Even when the price wasn't the lowest - they had the best option. I highly recommend Dean and his team to work on your vehicle. they have yet to disappoint me, from service on the vehicle to customer service. Excellent.

I had my daughter's 2008 Ford escape diagnosed for repairs trusting we would get an honest estimate and repair service. We were told the car needed a nearly $400 in pulleys, tensioner and belt. After informing them the problem was not resolved, they now want $800 to replace the alternator, pulleys, tensioner & belt. I have no trust or confidence in their ability to provide honest service and would not recommend doing business with this repair shop.

Took my 2014 Kia Forte there for an AC leak check based on their advertised free AC check billboard. There is a leak, but they could not find it. They wanted $275 to fill it with freon and dye and check for leaks (so much for a free AC check). Other places quoted me $120 to fill with freon and dye. There was a noise in my steering which I asked them about, and they said they "need to run a diagnostic" and told me it needed a coupler replaced. Their "diagnostic" alone cost me $115. I left without getting any work done there as their "free AC check" wasn't free. They were not able to find the leak or quote me an accurate price to fix the leak. The steering coupler, they quoted me $350....which I was also able to find elsewhere for much less. I live across the street from them and wanted a convenient place to do all my repairs. They've lost my business even before they gained it. Find another shop.

I liked this place a lot. It was the first time I went here for service. The price for all four shocks installed was the same as other places were charging for just two shocks. Dean was easy to work with. Straight forward and honest. The other mechanic (sorry i didn't get his name) was also easy, direct, and logical in his suggestions for my truck. I liked him instantly. He is a mechanic, not a salesman, if you know what I mean... He told me what was good for my truck, not what was good for his wallet. I will be going back for any future service my truck may require. This includes routine service, too... If you are reading reviews then you are looking for a mechanic. You have nothing to lose by talking with them. They might be exactly who you are looking for.

Dean and Aaron took on my project that most shops wouldn't, without hesitation. They replaced a blown head gasket and several other repairs on my old 52 Ford 8N. They kept me updated throughout the entire process and did it all for the most fair price, well below what others wanted to charge for. Cleanest shop and most knowledgeable crew in town. Honest, trustworthy, FAST, and fantastic communication - all the qualities thats hard to find in shops these days. I highly Budget recommend for any automotive issues, they do the job right and for an extremely fair price. Thanks guys, I'll be back for any future service needed.

Dean the owner really takes good care of you as well as his team of mechanics they do a really great job. I personally have took in my vehicle there and got my transmission rebuilt and never had an issue with it since and it's been over 4 years. Today I just recently went to get a mirror maintenance on it. But super satisfied with the quality of service and the customer service. Thanks Dean you guys rock.

I brought my vehicle here twice within a week, due to issues with my car starting consistently. The first time they repaired a battery connection for a very reasonable price, along with a roughly $100 diagnostic fee. I continued to have trouble starting my car and I brought it back again and they waived my diagnostic fee when I came the second time, at my request. My ignition cylinder was replaced at this point and I felt the price was reasonable. Now, 3 months later I'm having the same problems again so I really couldn't recommend this shop, although they were able to get me in quickly.

Best place in Tucson!!! I have been coming to this business for over 2 years. Each time I am always in amazement with how honest they have been with me from the start. When I first went to them, I thought I needed new brake pads and rotors as Break Masters on Speedway and Silverbell told me I needed. I went to them to get a bid and compare but what happen next made me become a loyal customer. After checking my brakes they told me that my brakes where almost new and I didn't need anything at that time. I am some one who doesn't know a whole lot about cars, so if you tell me I need something, most likely I will believe you and move on with my life. This last time, which is why I wanted to write this review, I needed an oil change and some other services done that they had recommended on my last visit, however, I wanted to figure out what my noise that was rattling around under my car. I was ready to spend anywhere between 6-700 dollars. After doing a full inspection they discovers that my brake hardware was missing and they replaced it. They thought I might need new brake pads and quoted me what it could be if I did need those services. Turns out I didn't and after replacing the missing hardware it all came out to $373.00. Team Budget Automotive, thank you for being so honest and professional. I can't thank you enough for helping me and educating me on my car. I took my car here a few years ago to get some repairs. My brakes needed work. My rotors were worked on, my brakes were replaced, and so were my ball joints. I was pleased enough with the work, even though my brakes still squealed. Just recently my car squealed when I turned. I took it into another mechanic and turns out my ball joints were NEVER greased when replaced. This mechanic was the only one I had gone to in the last 5 years. The new mechanic I had gone to could tell there was never any grease on the ball joints. My transmission fluid was also filled beyond the fill line, one that is very obviously seen. To replace the ball joints and other parts they affected, came out to be over $3,000. If my ball joints failed, I couldn't lost a wheel and caused a huge accident. I suggest saying far, far away from this mechanic. I, and many others, could have died due to the accident bad ball joints could cause. Sure my initial repair was less than $500, but it was a costly repair down the line to fix what they did. And that's not taking into consideration the cost of human life that losing wheels or veering into other cars could've caused. I don't know if it's because I'm a woman or if it's greed and negligence that caused me to be taken advantage of, but my life and others were in danger because of it. Never come here, run in the opposite direction.

They will fix it if something not right after you get car back. Prices very reasonable. People often want freebies, but mechanics have to feed their families too. The only drawback is that lately getting parts takes awhile, but the job gets done properly. Have been going here for almost 20 years. Used others when necessary, but they are our go to guys.

Now these guys here… they’re good. Maybe not the cheapest, but real good. Dean charged me what he said he was gonna charge me and they did what he said they were gonna do, when they said they were gonna do it, plus he called to let me know what else it needed and went ahead and fixed what extra things I said I wanted done, then wrote out a maintenance plan for me to have a baseline of things to have worked on (my truck is a 98 so it needs a few things). They were even nice enough to run me a few blocks home for the day and pick me back up when they were done. It runs much smoother and the alignment he did makes it drive like it’s new. Now, you do gotta pay for what you get done but nobody works for free, so at least here I know they’re fixing what needs to be fixed and being straight up about it. Thank you Dean and Budget Automotive guys, I appreciate you. (Lower ball joints, tie rod ends, alignment)
