My truck was in a car accident and I had Travis and his team look at the engine before I fixed the damage on truck. He gave me great input on what was wrong with my truck. And he put less stress on me because im going to have to repair the body on my truck. He waived the diagnostic/inspection fee for me. And I'm grateful for that. I've been taking my car there for years and years and years...and I will keep on coming. Ask for Travis and he'll take of you.

Today was my first experience at this shop, and the funny part is. I have worked across the street for 5 years! I had a piece of my vehicle underneath that had come off and had been badly damaged. They took my car and, within 10 minutes, took off the piece because it had been damaged. They would not even charge me a disposal fee. I will return here in the next few weeks to continue the services I need for my vehicle. Fred had excellent customer service!

Today there was a woman in the front office who was incredibly rude and seemed disinterested in assisting me. I’m sorry that I annoyed you so much by walking in. I’ve been coming here for years and always have had excellent customer service but I walked out. Treat people better.

Very happy with my experience here. Clear and honest communication. Timely and quality service. Will definitely make them my regular mechanic after multiple disappointments with my dealership.

Do NOT take your car to Car Care Central at Alma and Legacy. Short version - they wanted to charge me $1,900 for a repair that I was able to do myself for $12.00. 😡 Long Version - one day my trunk wouldn't open. I heard a click, but it wouldn't open. My car thought it was open (the little warning would come on each time I turned on the car), but I couldn't get it to open. So I took it to Car Care Central. They said it likely was electrical and that it would be $300 for them to diagnose the problem. After they did that the first person I talked to said it would be $1900 to repair and made it sound like they wanted to replace the thing that was responsible for ALL the power locks. I said that didn't make sense because all the other doors worked fine… so they passed the phone to someone else. I don't remember what explanation they gave me, but they said something I probably didn't understand and said they'd apply the $300 to the repair cost. I got my car and said I would have to schedule the repair later. At the time I was in a hurry, so I didn't notice that they did not give me a quote, only a receipt for the diagnostics. Later, I decided to text my friend who's incredibly knowledgeable about cars to see if I needed to get a 2nd opinion from another mechanic. He asked to look at the quote. I contacted Car Care Central and they emailed it to me. Now the repair was $1200. 🤷♀️ Definitely suspicious. My friend then told me about 2 things I could try myself to figure out the problem on my own. So I looked up the fuse box information for my car, found the “relay” (looks like a plug) for my trunk, unplugged that, and swapped it with a relay from another part that was working. My trunk opened! This “diagnosis” of the problem took me all of TWENTY minutes and that was only because I had up look up info first. I ordered a new relay from AutoZone for $12, got it the next day, plugged it in, and my trunk has worked since. 🤦♀️ I know we've all heard of mechanics trying to take advantage, but I'm still shocked at the amount they tried to charge me, and that they still charged me the $300 at all. 😡😡😡 So yeah, wanted to spread the warning so no one else gets scammed!

I do not recommend this location to anyone The staff left a big oil mark on the fabric door, so when I asked one of the staff members “ please clean the oil mark, he said they didn’t do it and first he refused to clean it, so I told him to just give me a spray or something , I will clean it by myself”. When finally he brought a spray, he barely touched it, so I asked him “let me clean it off by myself”, and I did. This is absolutely disrespectful. They are not honest. They are irresponsible. They left a mark on my car and they should be responsible for it. They should be responsible for the damage on my car.

I brought in my Honda because the battery light kept popping on. These folks went above and beyond. They didn’t just swap out the alternator and send me on my way — they actually figured out what caused it to fail in the first place and fixed the root issue. That kind of thorough, preventative work is hard to find. Crystal was awesome about keeping me in the loop the whole time with updates via text and email, which made the whole process way less stressful. If you’re looking for a shop that knows what they’re doing, takes the time to do things right, and keeps communication clear, this is the place. Super professional, honest, and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

I went there for state inspection and they have returned vehicles without putting fuel tank cap. I went to shopping and instead of opening car bonnet I have opened fuel tank door and I see no cap. I went and asked them, initially they were saying not possible. I asked them that some time back I went from here and how will it disappear. After some time arguing they went and searched and they found it in their location. Still they were not ready to even apologize. Nothing will happen, max of 10 dollars cap you need to replace is the reply. Such a response shows the service they want to provide. I went to check if there is any safety issues are there and they are returning vehicles in unsafe conditions. What if they forget some parts which we can't see.

I'll start off by saying I have older cars. Some of the problems below are due to having old cars, however the conversation is never a "this thing broke while we were working on that thing because it's old". I would actually appreciate the honesty. --------------------- My wife took my car in because the back left tire had a small hole. All I needed was this tire replaced. They recommended $1.7K of additional work. OK, we did it. I drop the car off, they finish working on it, we pick it up and I get it back home. The tire pressure is off. That's the one problem I needed them to fix. I take out my pressure gauge and I see the front right tire is 35psi, back left and right at 14psi and 16psi. Everything should be 32psi. I fix them myself. The tire pressure light is still on. I call them, they say the battery on the sensor that checks the pressure died due to old age. It costs $90 dollars to replace. Fine. I drop the car off, they work on it, I pick it up. They say it's $400. Apparently they replaced all four sensors at once. So you're telling me that when you were working on my tires, it just so happens that out of the 3,600 days I've had the car you had it for the four days that a battery happened to die in the same vicinity you were working? And you needed to replace all four sensors at once because all of them had a battery problem at once or was that just an executive decision? I drive it home today. Tick tick tick tick tick. The car is now ticking. It never ticked before. This mirrors my experience with my other old car, my Hyundai Sonata. I dropped it off and they delivered it back to me with the key unable to turn in the ignition. Didn't have that problem before dropping it off. They said there was nothing they could do. If I would have known when my wife offered to bring the car in that not only would they not fix the tire pressure, but they'd also break the sensor then replace all 4 at once for $400 and cause an additional issue of making my car tick all while charging us $1.7K on top of the $400 I would have made a different decision.

Had a horrible noise with my car this morning dropped it off at 8am. Diagnosed by 9am. Car ready by 2pm. Great communication. I gave reasonable price because car repairs are always expensive but cheaper than a new car payment. I have no idea if it was a great price. Car is 10 years old and hope to keep it a while longer!

Took my truck in for a tune up and check up on an electrical issue, first time at this shop. Service is outstanding! Extremely friendly and helpful with questions on services and products. The shop is honestly probably the cleanest autoshop I've ever been too. Very professional. And the pricing, can't beat it! This is now my go to shop for any issues. Great team!

I found this place on Groupon. The guy at the counter was helpful and friendly and they didn’t try to scam me out of money or push repairs on me like other places have done and being a woman I very much appreciate that. 10/10 service. Cheap, fast and knowledgeable

So happy I found Car Care Central! The customer service has been exceptional since the first call. They worked hard to get me the best price for the services I received, and did a fantastic job on my car. They also did a complimentary full inspection and gave me a few suggestions of other work that needed to be done, but they were never pushy about it. Which is always a fear of mine as a woman going to a mechanic’s shop. They got the work done quickly, and even sent an Uber to get me from work so I didn’t have to pay for one myself. Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service from Start to Finish! I had an outstanding experience with Car Care Central. From the moment I arrived, the team demonstrated exceptional customer service and a true commitment to quality. The service was completed in a timely manner, and their inspections were incredibly detailed — giving me full confidence in the condition of my vehicle. What I appreciated most was how they provided a plethora of repair options, clearly outlining everything from the most immediate needs to items that could be addressed later. That level of transparency made it easy to make informed decisions without feeling pressured. A special shoutout to Robert Hill, whose personality truly sets the tone for the entire experience. He is joyful, delightful, and absolutely a people person. Robert delivers personal, attentive service that makes you feel valued as a customer rather than just another appointment. The entire crew was thorough, professional, and clearly takes pride in their work. If you’re looking for an auto shop you can trust, Car Care Central is it. Highly recommend!

This place was recommended to us. We have been trying it out , and after 1 year these are my thoughts. They are personable at the front desk and are good at remembering repeat customers. They have been sensitive to times when I have had to wait in the waiting room ( which is clean) and to quickly get my car serviced. I have had them change oil, replace engine mounts, hydraulic lifts for hatch, transmission fluids, windshield washer motor replacement and more. I get a text before they have completed the work to tell me all the they have checked with 3 levels of assessment: 1) system OK, 2) Consider getting fixed sometime soon, and 3) items that need to be addressed immediately. At first I wonder if this was a farce for more business, but found their assessments to be fair. Mind you this was only a text for my personal consideration. No pushy sales. Once complete, no mention of the Assessment list - nor were they pushing further sales or work. They simply Checked me out and I was ready to go. All the work they have done was done well. Their service work is guaranteed I will continue to use them, though they are far from my home. It’s Hard to find a competent place you can trust - I do recommend you try them out.
