I have been with this shop almost 29 years, they are very honesty and knowledgeable. I saw some people complains both in here or shop. It is because either they don’t know anything about car or they just very stingy .

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. People there are generally rude, unprofessional and dishonest! I replaced power steering pump there couple years ago. That is one of the most stupid decision I've ever made. 1) At that time the owner told me that I need to replace front brake too over the phone. I trusted him and did it. 2) When I went to pick up my car after they told me it's ready, I was told the owner took it for a test drive. Well, I can wait. So I waited for almost an hour. Finally the owner came back from the "test drive". And it seems it took at least 50 miles according to the odometer. That's a convenient, isn't it? 3) I was told by the owner that I need to replace rear brake pretty soon because it's "very thin". Well, that's odd. Because I just replaced them 6 months ago. Anyway, I didn't replace them for another 20K miles. I don't know how a very thin brake could last that long. That makes me doubt do I need to replace the front brake or not. 4) Here is the main part. After the new power steering pump installed, my car started to make a lot of hissing noise. So I have to either bear it, or replace the drive belt every 3 months. Of course, I went back to the store, and they deny any possible responsibility. Until 2 years later, after many visit to another auto-care store (BTW: it's Christian Brothers, they are great!). The issue was identified, the power steering pump is leaking! So the fluid spreads onto drive belt and makes it worn out in weeks. Well, after a new pump. My car finally backed to normal. So you can see, I probably paid over $600 there. And what did I get? Probably a pair of new brake which I don't need, or maybe they didn't change them at all. A broken power steering pump that made me suffer for 2 years and spent another $600-800 try to fix it.

Horrible experience, I bought an used part (windshield wiper) for them to replace, their mechanics lied to me saying the parts I bought does not fit my car and refused to install the parts AFTER they already charged me in full. I went back home and spent few hours on YouTube and installed the parts myself. They refused to refund me the money and I had to get my money back via credit card company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I noticed something... the BAD reviews are several years old. The recent reviews are pretty darn good. These are honest people. That makes them somewhat unique in the automotive industry. If you don't need something done, they will tell you. If you do need something done, they will also tell you. I can't tell you the number of times Andrew has helped me and my family. He's a good guy. They took my HHR Chevy that was in a ten-car pileup on highway 75 and fixed it so it would pass inspection for $400. It ain't pretty, but it works.

The people there are very chill and professional. I went there to change my tale lights but somehow I locked my keys in my car when I got out. They helped me get out my key for free. The price is good and the service is solid and fast. PS: They might not answer your call sometimes, but just try call them more.

Generally good service, but the communication skill needs a little work. Happy with previous collision repair and other minor repairs. They do good jobs on vehicles; I trust them with big or small problems. They are mechanics, so they can't talk normal to ordinary folks. Nothing wrong with fix it, pay me and next customer please type of attitude.

I only found out about this place because I married Chinese and this is their family mechanic. These guys are amazing! The first time I went in for something was with my previous car because the trunk latch was not working right. I asked them if they could fix it for me and the guy responded "no, you can easily fix it yourself, I'll show you how to fix it." He did, and there was no charge. I've had only pleasant experiences here, whether it is for minor work, a state inspection, or an oil change, and I think they might have a permanent special for a synthetic oil change going on because it's always the current promotion whenever I happen to need an oil change. It's a good price, so no complaints! I have fortunately never needed to have any major work done, so that is why I clarified that I'd only had them do minor repairs.

I encountered a scammer on the road who claimed to fix my car for a tempting price. Luckily, I didn't fall for their tricks. When rain, my car started leaking for the holes scammer punched. Quickly, I approached the owner of A+ Motor Bay Auto repair for help. They warned me about the risks of trusting roadside scammers and gave me immediate advice to temporarily patch up the holes. The owner promptly provided a reasonable quote for the repairs and suggested that it would be better to save money by opting for a complete replacement rather than a qsuick ugly temp fix. I'm so grateful that I listened to his expertise. My car has been restored to its original condition, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The owner of A+ Mortor Bay auto repair is truly A+, exceptional. They are skilled, attentive, and considerate of my needs. They went above and beyond to provide the best service possible. I highly recommend A+ Motor Bay Auto repair, and they will undoubtedly be my go-to choice for future car services.

My family and I have been coming here for as long as they’ve been open. We’ve brought every car here to get serviced / opinions when it comes to what we should do with repairs. They price very fairly and are very honest and open with their suggestions when it comes to repairs and car work. Andrew/ Dino have always done really good work as well and they’ve always taken car of my family and friends (when we bring them) there. Highly recommend!

I have used this business on several occasions. These folks are very innovative, and I mean that in every sense of the word. If they give advice one would do well to heed it. A Plus? Very modest. After 8 years of giving these people my business, I am through, and you should be too. They have begun to charge for work they misdiagnosed and most recently have more than tripled the amount quoted. I have caught them ignoring a problem until catastrophic damage is done. I will find someone else, and you would be wise to steer clear of this business.

I have used A Plus Motor Bay for more than five years and I am very satisfied with them. Their service are good quality and economic. Unlike some car shops, they don't solicit you to make unnecessary repair. Went in today for annual inspection and they were decently busy. Several people came in for inspection as well. Andrew told me that they started to get busy again since the beginning of June.

I needed to get my truck registered. I went to my usual place, but the guy who usually does it was out that day. I decided to go to the place behind it, and as soon as I arrived, my truck was processed and done within 20 minutes, and I was on my way!!!! Thank you, A Plus Motor Bay Auto, for such a professional and timely service!!!!

Reliable, provide good advice and won't charge you for a diagnostic! Won't have you do unnecessary repairs, and honest so far. The owner is very busy, so the wait can be long, but the service is good, and the price is fair. Will recommend.

I have gave this place business several times and usually no one is in the office, as they are busy in the shop. I get that, which why they have a bell at the front desk. I walked in today and Rand the bell twice. A lady was parking as I came in and rang the bell a few minutes after me. Mind you, I was waiting for about 5 mins and then the guy came from the back and started helping her while I have been waiting for a while. They carried on a conversation in their language like I was not even there! Seems like they now only want to do business with their “own ethnicity” which is very unwelcoming and racist if you ask me. I will NEVER do business with them again.

My entire family and I have been bringing our vehicles here for repairs, service, ect. for the last 10 years. They are experts when it comes to cars and don't solicit for unnecessary work. Always open and honest which is hard to find with all the car shops around.

When a company posing as a legitimate body shop caused thousands of dollars in damage to the paint on my Lexus convertible, a neighbor who knows his cars referred me to this body shop. I have always had my car repaired and repainted at Sewell, but what they wanted to charge didn’t make sense with what the vehicle is actually worth overall. I took my car to this body shop and met with the owner, Kong, who got me in right away and was very cordial and knowledgeable. He wrote up an estimate for me to take to the company Who damaged my car initially. Shocker they don’t have insurance. I took it back to Kong to do the work and it’s good as new! He was fair in his pricing, they only had the car for five days, and it was close to the house so convenient. They have earned my business for other repairs and maintenance On this car and the other cars we own. Could not be happier. Thank you, Kong!

Pros: the owner Dino REALLY cares about his customers. Theres been occasions where he’d fix something relatively minor, and refuses to charge us for it. Also unlike dealerships, he works hard to find the lowest cost alternatives to replace expensive auto parts - although he also makes clear of possible risks of using cheaper alternatives. He and his crew KNOWS their stuff well, and he does his job with heart - with his customer’s best interests in mind. Cons: he’s blunt, but in a tough love way. Also, I think only him and his brother speaks English.

We had a fantastic experience with this mechanic. We brought our Camry in for a few issues, and the owner fixed them and reset the code for us. He was super honest and took the time to provide guidance on how to handle another issue we were facing. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service.
