I was referred to BJ by Danny Koker & Kevin Mack over at Count's Kustoms. BJ really has it together: Super clean, extremely well organized shop, and he's a straight-up, honest, no BS kind of guy. Bj was amazing, this guy handed me a flashlight and we walked through everything. I took a land rover discovery and because this guy was so damn honest I decided to service my Toyota 4runner he went above and beyond with the service he offered, he sent pictures and explained to me everything I needed to know know about my vehicle. Even though we had an issue, this is the guy you want to go to if you have a problem with your car. Very knowledgeable and fair. Issue was, like with every other mechanic, he thought he should be paid for his time rather than fixing the problem. We had an agreement that he would charge to FIX my steering problem, not by the hour but the event. When he couldn't, I had agreed to let him keep some of the money I had already paid to him. He wasn't happy with that and thought he should get to keep it all since he charged $100+ an hour and had spent a couple hours working on it. After a heated discussion we agreed to split the $120 I paid to him already. I did this because he was very knowledgeable and communicated with me about the problem. My advise is if you want a good mechanic he is your man. just make sure you get it in writing specifically (not generally) whether he is charging you to fix the problem and if he can't does the time he spent trying to fix it convert to an hourly rate. Because there are so many mechanic scams out there I will NOT agree to a general labor charge. I make sure that the amount I pay is to fix the problem, not pay for the mechanic's learning curve or lack of knowledge. Though Bj knew exactly what needed to be done he could t fix it after trying for a couple of hours. Not my fault or his but I'm not giving away my money. Sorry Bj.

Took my car to bj last week for a brake change and oil change and a nightmare begun. Be careful who you take your car to I’ve been dealing with bj for a little over a year and keep having the same issues he’s previously done in the past. He will charge u over in over for diagnostics but still have the same issues months down the line. I have all receipts and will be turning everything in to the Bussiness bureau. Thanks for taking advantage of my money through this pandemic and by the way he’s very unprofessional everything have been documented and you will be dealt with. Why charge me 297 for brakes and 100 bucks for oil change and don’t do neither

Bj is a an efficient, extremely fast car scientist. I have had my bmw for three years and I was lucky to have found him then and have worked together to keep my car in perfect shape. A few issues my car has had haven't been major, but it has broken down twice. Transmission spark plugs, leaky oil gaskets, new control arms, oil changes etc. Each time Bj was available and responded promptly, once even on a weekend in an emergency. (I am NOT recommending to do that lol) He is honest, gives a straight forward price and has kept my car in such great order I have struggled with if I want to buy a new one, even tho I really need a bigger car. I highly recommend him. 10 stars

I’ve been taking my vehicles to BJ for over 10 years. Whatever the problem is, he finds it and fixes it the first time. He will also inform you of others issues that should be addressed but will not pressure you or state that they must be done immediately. Always gives me a 1-10 scale of importance of the issue. Highly recommend him to anyone who asks if I know of a good mechanic.

After going through a horrific ordeal at another shop, that left me without my car for three weeks, I had my G37s towed to CarFixr and BJ had my car back to me in 3 days. I found Car Fixer on the internet as a senior female I was very concerned and worried! BJ put me to ease with what I needed and his price. The work was completed promptly and I had other problems oil leak, spark plugs, and wires, and other things that as a woman you don't think of. Good honest mechanics are hard to find but BJ is one of them!! Had to replace my radiator on my Infiniti and dealership wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for repair. Texted BJ and he gave me a quote that wouldn't hurt my pocket. I made the appointment the next day and a couple hours later, he was done. He even showed me the old parts. I found BJ on the internet and initially used him to perform an all points inspection on a Mini Cooper I purchased. I wanted to have it done within the 5 day turn in period. He scheduled me within that window and performed an extensive inspection for a reasonable price. I was impressed with his attention to detail and friendly manner. Later, he had a chance to soak me on a repair for a recalled part that I would never have known about if he didn't tell me. Saved me over $500. I appreciate that type of honesty. We bought a 2008 Range Rover earlier this year. As expected, we've encountered some necessary repairs. I did a lot of research on who to take the car to in Vegas and came across BJ at Car Fixr. I hardly write reviews on the internet but he really deserves one. He has fixed our suspension, replaced our battery, done an oil change, helped me with my car keys, and is now fixing a rattling issue I was having in the front left side. He's very easy to work with and seems a lot more competent and genuine than other shops I've been to for other cars in the past. Grateful to have found someone I can trust with my Range Rover.
