Great great service. Brought my car as it broke down at the shop while they were really busy backed up. Still looked at my car for a while and never gave up towards the end I even got a small refund for more accurate labor costs. Fully honest team, loved Travis and his hard work! This was for a pesky Mazda radio issue that wasn’t turning off!! Definitely will be paying a visit again in case the another auto issue occurs.

I've been going to century for years now. They have been honest and helpful. My ex-wife, children, and friends all go to Century for car repairs. They are friendly, helpful, and most of all straight forward. They have an excellent network for referring work out that isn't work They do in house. They will give a fair price and the time frame for completion of a job. Multiple times They have told me what I need to do. Since they are not a corporate franchise they don't have the quota need nor do they have to worry about it since the customers they have are loyal and consistent.

I cannot recommend this shop highly enough. Joe, Travis and the crew are true professionals that do great work and are more affordable than anything going. I have an old 4Runner that hadn't seen the inside of a shop for at least five years. Completely depleted shocks, leaking valves, old belts, leaking differential, on and on. After a few days in the shop, it drives better than when I bought it. The price was very reasonable (around half of what a dealer would charge) and the quality of the work is top notch. It's rare to find a quality and honest mechanic these days. Finding one that's affordable is near impossible. This place has all three attributes in spades. 10/10

Update: I recently hit a concrete pillar in a parking garage and it knocked my alignment out of whack. My insurance company wanted me to take my car to one of their preferred mechanics, but I insisted on taking it to Joe and Travis. Sure enough, they had her assessed and fixed within two working days, and for much less than I had anticipated. And I got to meet Joe ("Dad") this time! I cannot recommend this place enough. No BS, just good work at good prices. Got my front and rear brake pads and rotors replaced for less than half the price quoted me by my dealership. Also, Travis is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Haven't met his dad, but I'm sure he's wonderful, too, because he raised a great son. Support this amazing local, family-owned business!

From the first call I knew we were going to be taken care of. I had talked with multiple other shops that gave me crazy quotes for AC repair. Once I got on the phone with Travis he gave me realistic numbers for different situations without even seeing the car. In the end it was 30% less than he quoted which was a wonderful surprise. 11/10 recommend this place. Also nice to support a local family business.

This has to be the most honest mechanic shop ever. My wife and I have been coming here for years to service and repair our vehicles for a fraction of the cost. When the dealership told me I needed new brake pads I balked. I brought my car to Century and Joe (rip) took a look and told me come back in 6 months. We finally changed the pads 18 months later. He never charged me for the intervals when I brought it in to check pads. I was a customer for life by that point. Joe’s son Travis has taken over after working side by side for years with his Dad. He continues the friendly honest reliable service tradition. Austin is lucky to have this gem.

This is the BEST, most trustworthy mechanic shop I've ever been to and I've been to several around TX. Joe, Travis and the crew are very helpful and fix what needs fixing and that's it. I completely trust them with my car. I've had to have several things down to my little old car and they have always came through for me with professionalism and won't overcharge!! My Dad uses them and I've referred others that use them as well. I wont take my car anywhere else. As long I'm living in Austin, I will use them to service my cars. You won't regret taking your vehicles here, I promise!!!

Travis and his team are AWESOME! This is my second time going here and I meant to leave a 5 star review the first time…if I could give 10 stars I would. I went in today on the whim asking about my AC not even expecting him to be able to look at it today due to the popularity and busyness of his shop. Travis took the time to service my car even though he was backed up already (that’s what happens when you’re a reliable, honest, and integrity driven business…you’re busy!) and had my AC good as new in about 30 minutes. If you’re looking for a trustworthy mechanic just stop searching and go here. Prices are reasonable and honest as well. I seriously won’t take my car anywhere else…. Thank you!

Look no further than Century Automotive for you auto repair needs. I found this place on google 8 years ago and so glad I did. Travis is incredibly honest, fair and genuine. His pricing was usually the most competitive, but that didn’t mean quality was sacrificed. What I appreciate is his willingness to give you options (if there are multiple) to fix a problem. He and his team serviced both my older cars multiple times. I never had an issue with their work or customer service. Do yourself a favor and call Travis

Discovered Century Automotive after moving to Austin several years ago, and am grateful I did. Travis is great to work with - personable, upfront, and informative. They’re not going to recommend any work they don’t think is necessary, and the work they do perform will be of high quality and done in a timely manner. I’d recommend calling ahead to get on their calendar though, as they do stay extremely busy. Can’t recommend them enough.

I am honestly reluctant to review this shop because I want to keep it my own special secret. Alas they are deserving of all the praise and the business. We bring both our foreign and domestic cars here and trust them completely. They are honest, direct, and extremely knowledgeable. They will even go a step beyond and suggest a dealership visit when they feel its the best option. No one enjoys having to have a car serviced, but these guys make it a pleasant experience every time.

I cannot speak highly enough of this shop. The first time we came here, we had shopped around for prices prior to coming and they were the most affordable. Since then, we've had several jobs done here for several cars. Travis is our go to mechanic. We trust his work - he is knowledgeable, upfront and friendly. My car shook whenever I hit the breaks, for years. I took it to other mechanics who blamed the tires. Hundreds of dollars later, I still had this issue. But after taking my car to Travis at Century Automotive, I finally got answers! Travis said that my rotors needed to be resurfaced. The work was done quickly and affordably, and he even made me aware of an issue with my oil pan that I had no idea about. Now, I am wary of someone telling me about a problem they can sell me a solution for, but that wasn't his aim. He just told me some issues that might come up, because of it, and what to keep an eye out for. This is my new mechanic right here. Honest, reliable, affordable, kind!
