Got me in quickly to do my inspection and they are very friendly and helpful. Kind of a small driveway so I missed it the first few times but now that I know where it is I'll be back to get my annual inspection here and any other work I need done.

I don't know much about cars, so I am very happy with finding a mechanic I can trust, who will fix my car and go out of their way to treat me like family. Thank you, Chik's!

Fast, friendly, quick service. Very helpful. Didn't pad the bill. Paid less than the estimated amount. Had an additional issue, they checked it out and didn't charge me, they found no problem. Honest people

These guys did a great job !!!! The AC went out on my 2017 Tacoma, they replaced my system and recharged it with the new gas. They are one of the few on island with the new machine at Thai point in time.

The owner Clint and his team were very professional and thought about my wallet over what they could've made out of my car. This is a very great place for anyone with Auto AC problems. Highly recommended.

Nices guys and great service. Only problem I had installed ac and shop did a vacuum test and refill. Guy said everything was good and now my ac works intermitted like its low on freon. They indicate I probably have an electrical issue which was never the case prior to changing the compressor. I would have to pay again on top of my original 200 to check

Clint was very helpful and trustworthy, exactly what you’re looking for when taking your car in for a repair. I got my gas pedal sensor fixed quickly and for a much better price than another mechanic shop had quoted me. Thanks Clint!

When it comes to finding a trustworthy and reliable automobile air conditioning repair company, it’s not always easy. However, after hearing my friend from Hawaii rave about her experience at this particular repair shop for over a year, I knew I had to share her story. She constantly describes her time there as “the true definition of kokua and aloha,” which, in Hawaiian culture, represents selfless kindness, compassion, and genuine care for others. It’s clear that this company embodies these values in every aspect of their service. My friend, who grew up in Hawaii, knows a thing or two about what true customer service should feel like. When she found herself dealing with a broken air conditioning system in the peak of summer heat, she was understandably distressed. Living in a hot climate makes a functioning air conditioner not just a luxury, but a necessity. She was in a bind, far from home and familiar service providers, and she needed help quickly. That’s when she discovered this gem of a repair shop. From the moment she walked in, she felt like she was back home on the islands. The staff greeted her warmly, and instead of just seeing her as another job to get done, they took the time to understand her situation. They patiently explained what was wrong with her vehicle’s air conditioning system, and more importantly, they laid out her options clearly. There was no pushy upselling or technical jargon designed to confuse her—just honest advice from a team that truly cared about helping her get back on the road with a cool, comfortable car. She was particularly impressed with how they worked around her schedule. Understanding that she was in a hurry, the technicians prioritized her repair without cutting any corners. They meticulously diagnosed the problem, identified the parts needed, and got to work. Despite the pressure of time, they maintained a level of thoroughness that is rare to find in the industry. The repair was completed on time, and my friend drove away with an air conditioner that worked perfectly—a blessing during those scorching summer days. But what really made this experience stand out for her was the aftercare. A few weeks later, the shop followed up with her to ensure everything was still running smoothly. This kind of follow-up is almost unheard of these days, and it really resonated with her. It showed that they weren’t just interested in making a quick buck; they were committed to ensuring their customers were genuinely satisfied. Even more remarkable was the fairness in pricing. My friend had been worried about how much the repair would cost, especially since air conditioning repairs can be notoriously expensive. However, she was pleasantly surprised to find that the prices were more than reasonable, especially given the quality of the work. There were no hidden fees, no surprise costs—just honest, upfront pricing that she felt good about paying. Over the past year, she has not stopped talking about her experience. Every time we talk about car maintenance, she brings up this repair shop and how they represent everything she loves about the values of kokua and aloha. To her, they were not just fixing a car, but they were providing a service with a heart, which is something she cherishes deeply. In conclusion, if you’re looking for an automobile air conditioning repair company that will treat you with the utmost respect, care, and fairness, this is the place to go. They don’t just fix cars—they build trust, show genuine compassion, and make sure you feel valued as a customer. My friend’s glowing experience is a testament to their outstanding service, and it’s no wonder she hasn’t stopped singing their praises. If you want to experience the true meaning of kokua and aloha in car repair, this is the company to choose.

This place quoted me $500-650 to change the front break pads. Yes, just the pads. Women don’t go here alone they will try to rip you off. Thank goodness I know better. Had the breaks done elsewhere for $100 and it took 20 minutes. A box of break pads is $40 by the way maybe the mechanic at Chiks didn’t realize I have an internet connection… 🤦🏻♀️

They had my A/C repaired in a day. Super easy to work with and honest as well. Another shop wanted to do an extra $4000 worth of work that wasn't needed. Glad I found them.

I was told to pass a safety check I needed a $700 brake job. I did my own work and found the brake pads were only 50 percent worn, parts cost $35.00. I could have easily gone 20,000 more miles before needing a brake job. I used to go to Chik's for safety check for many years with no problem. But now with them taking advantage of a 78 year old to make money I will never go back.

We’ ve had oil changes, brake fluid and pad changes, installation of calipers, and I think that’s it done at Chic’s Auto. We’re always satisfied with their work and soooo glad we found this family owned business. We’re happy customers.
