Cristian Brothers Automotive in Gilbert is my go to mechanic shop now. Cathy has the best customer service. She quoted me an alternator with labor that was $300-$400 cheaper than the other mechanic I called before Cristian Brothers. Thank you Christian Brothers for the wonderful service I received at your Gilbert Baseline location when my 2008 Honda Element was non-functional . You made arrangements for the Element to be towed to your location and also deliver me to your shop too. All the needed paperwork was completed, my car was in good hands. I was driven back to my house so I could wait at.home. They diagnosed what happened to my car and what the estimated costs would be.so I knew what the cost would be. When the work to my Honda was completed they called me, reviewed what was done and let me know a car would come pick me up and bring me to the shop. My bill was exactly what I expected. No one ever wants to have car difficulties but when you do I’d recommend Christian Brothers!

I originally went in for an oil change and some other issues I thought might need to be checked out. Well, after a thorough diagnosis it was obvious it wasn’t going to be just an oil change. Colton did a good job by keeping me informed of the progress being made with regard to the repairs on my vehicle. I’m very satisfied with the results. My vehicle is running much better! I, along with many of my coworkers — including the head Dr I work for — have used Christian Brothers for quite some time. Our office is literally across the street, so it became our go-to for convenience, and they’ve always provided excellent customer service. However, today was a different story, to the extent that I won’t be using their services anymore. I booked an online appointment, as I always do. When I called to verify the cost of the alignment and to see if I could possibly wait (no rush), the representative, named Colton, told me there was no way they could fit my car in at that time. I noted that I had a booked confirmation. He replied, “Oh well, online appointments do not align with our in-office times.” I asked if I could walk in with my confirmation, and he essentially confirmed that I would be turned away. He apologized, but explained that the system is that way, and said it would take approximately 2–2.5 hours for the alignment and oil change. That is poor customer service!!!!

The employees were friendly, but the quality of work on my car was extremely disappointing. I originally brought it in for a misfire issue, and they charged me $4,000, assuring me the problem was fixed. The moment I drove it—literally within seconds—I knew it wasn’t resolved. When I brought the car back, they held it for two days, only to tell me it would cost another $7,000 to fix because it was supposedly a “different problem.” Now they’re claiming it would take $12,000 total to repair my car. Completely unacceptable and unbelievable experience.

Great initial service, I was having two new tire replaces. I asked to have them installed in the rear. That wasn’t done. They also did not balance the air pressure on all four tires. There was a 10 psi difference between the new tires and older tires.

Always great customer service. I love a Christian company that isn't afraid to show it UPDATE: IF you're a VETERAN, you WANT this place. I had an issue with a radiator hose, which was not under warranty (a wear and tear piece). BUT because they also did my radiator which WAS under warranty, that cut the labor cost. The fact they were HONEST enough to not fleece me is by its self AMAZING. AND because I was a VETERAN, there was NO DEDUCTIBLE. I now have both cars with these guys.

Do not trust this shop. I took my car to have the check engine light fixed. They told me the oxygen sensor needed fixed. I paid them $600+ to diagnose and fix. The light came right back on 2 days later. I called and the guy on the phone basically told me I need to pay them ANOTHER diagnostic fee of $190 to look at it again. He said "oh there could be a lot of things wrong to cause the code" Yes but I paid you my hard earned money to get it right the FIRST time and you did not do that. He also had an attitude and told me "I wasn't even here that day" When I was there I had to have them recheck the struts also since their tech didn't check the second one since it was "raining". He marked it as no problem when in fact it was leaking a lot and needed fixed. I decided to give them a second chance but I now greatly regret doing that. I am now cleaned out of my savings and back to where I started needing my car fixed. Take your hard earned money to someone you can trust. I'm so unbelievably disappointed and upset.

CBA was really good with thoroughly checking out my car. There was a lot of work that needed to be done to it. They not only did all the service work and kept me informed on a timeframe that it would take, but they also completed a thorough inspection when I took it back when it wasn’t quite right and found some other stuff and fixed that for me. They also found out I had hand surgery while they still had the car and even delivered it for me. In my eyes that is going above and beyond for the customer.

Colton was a superstar, we spoke over a few weeks as my son was looking at various trucks in the Phoenix area. We finally decided to take the leap and made an appointment. The seller, crazy story, was bitten by a dog that day as we drove up from Tucson, and went to the hospital for stitches and couldn’t drive to meet us. Note: he is fine now. Colton kept pushing the appointment and we ended up hours late but he made me feel all would be well, they would wait and get us in even though it was very late in the day. John did the inspection and was clear and honest. Sadly the truck looked great on the outside but had major fixes in its future. We are grateful for their input, saved us thousands in repairs if we had purchased without their inspection. Highly recommend.

These guys were literally the best! I found a vehicle I wanted to purchase from an individual online. I lived four hours away from the vehicle And used these guys to conduct a pre-purchase overhaul of the vehicle. They sent me pictures of every little detail of the car, a full report of everything that looked good, And anything they recommended getting repaired. Not only that, but they looked up the vehicle’s history of service for me, and let me know the upcoming maintenance items that would be suggested. They called the seller of the car for me, got the car in and out in a couple of hours the same morning. Absolutely seamless transaction and I never even had to drive over there. Now I can be really confident in the vehicle. I am purchasing this weekend!

My rear brakes made a loud squeak and I felt certain the rear shoes and drums needed attention. I notified the service writer of the issue. I received an email and text with photos from the technician that clearly showed I had plenty of brake life left on all wheels. They told me to keep my money where it belongs. In my wallet. The technician took photos of my worn out control arm bushings and it was definitely time for that. Christian Bros saved me a lot of hard earned money and only did the repairs necessary. In my forty years of automotive ownership and the occasional repairs on them , it’s a breath of fresh air to be met with this kind of honesty in a world that tries very hard to empty my wallet. Love these guys. They are very friendly and super helpful. When I brought my car in for a radiator leak, they took the time to really break down what my car needed and why. It was a very transparent process. My car needed to stay overnight. I'm a teacher, and I needed to find a way to school the next morning. Tom offered to pick me up at my house and drive me to school. He didn't even flinch when I told him that I needed to be there by 7:00. Everyone at the CBA on Higley and Baseline rocks (especially Tom). I'll definietly be using them again, and I highly recommend them.
