★☆☆☆☆ Brought my vehicle in for a "battery drain" problem. On 9/19 on 09/20, we were told there was a drain issue, and it was located at "room" fuse. More time authorized for getting down to the root of the problem. On 9/23, we were told, "They took it as far as they could go and to bring it to a dealership where it could be diagnosed further." So for $431.53, we left with the same problem that we went there with. Skip this place and take the owners advice, bring it to the dealership.

★★★★☆ Let just preface this review by saying, I've only been here once and I only give five stars if a place goes beyond excellence for the customer. The service was friendly, efficient and fairly priced. Unfortunately for customers, but fortunately for Coastal Rebuilders these three adjectives make them an exception. They took my vehicle when they said they would and had it ready when they said they would and everything was fixed as to be expected. Just a good barebones shop. Will use them again!!

★★★★★ When I first came to them about six months ago, my car battery kept inexplicably (to me) dying. I had just walked in without an appointment, and they couldn’t fix the car that day. I thought I was “safe” to start the car again without a jump because I had gotten it jumped that morning and then driven for a while before stopping at Coastal Rebuilders to see if they could help. Of course, it didn’t start. I panicked, looking around to see if the owners of the cars parked next to me could jump me. Coastal Rebuilders saw that I couldn’t start the car and came out and helped me, despite their busy schedule. Not only did they jump it so I could get home, but they took the time to examine it and see if their was something they could do quickly to solve the problem. Unfortunately I needed a new battery, so they couldn’t fix it right there but the fact that they tried was really impressive. That is customer service that goes above and beyond. AND they didn’t charge me a thing for doing all of that. Since then they have done a couple things on my car (brake work, replacing a messed up serpentine belt, inspection, and oil changes) and every experience has been great. They work quickly and they are honest.
