I was out of town when I received a low pressure message for all my tires, one especially. Had to put a spare on, then went to Costco tire center in Apex, NC to pur have 2 new tires. I did that, came back the next morning and the new tires were installed and I was on my way. Kevin could not have been more helpful in selling me the tires, and Jordan was super friendly and helpful the next day with getting my tires installed.

This place is amazing and both the staff and mechanics were incredibly helpful!!! I needed a quick replacement tire after a flat and they got me in immediately and got the work done in less than an hour. As a bonus I got to get some food at the food court while I waited. Highly recommend this place!

Went for a tire patch they said it wasn't patchable then quoted me $700 for new tires. Janette did not show me the damage, she did not give me any reason on why they weren't fixable. She then told me that she put the old tire in the back and later found out she lied and threw it away. I call back to get the tire back but Stephen told me it was the side wall that was broken and they can't fix it. After a week of back and forth finally got the tire back and saw that it was in fact patchable and it wasn't on the sidewall but on the tread. Took it somewhere else where they patched it just fine. Tl;Dr Costco lies to you about damages to force to buy new tires from them.

We had a great experience!!! A year ago I bought tires through costco. .Today I got a nail in my tire and I immediately came here and they got it patched up and everything pretty quick even though they had a lot of people here and it was free.... I got to get a hot dog and look around at costco :) it's pretty standard to have to wait to get car work done...not sure why the other reviews complaining about wait time expected but we were in and out faster than any Jiffy etc. Employees were super helpful and KIND. I was a walk in but they were able to take me anyways. This store is always one of the busiest but they are the best :)

Never again! I paid in advance and scheduled an appointment for new tires over 10 days ahead of time. I even called the day before the appointment to confirm everything was good to go. Then on the actual day of the appointment, I was told the tires weren’t in stock. No one contacted me ahead of time to let me know, and the staff simply blamed it on the tire center—when asked when they will have it they said “no idea” This was a complete waste of my time and money, and it shows a serious lack of organization and accountability. If you can’t deliver tires for an appointment scheduled that far in advance, what’s the point of pre-ordering? Discount tires it is!

Everyone seems to give this place a hard time. I went to get new tires. Wait time for the appointment was 2 weeks. (Discount tire also gave me the same timeframe at a 15% price increase. I asked about a price match and it was not offered.) Service was fine. Tires were mounted and balanced fine. The tech and manager there that day seemed very reasonable. Fair price for fair work. I did check my tire pressure after and had to adjust it slightly. No big deal. Any good car owner should keep an eye on it. Not perfect but great for the price. People need to have reasonable expectations.

I had a nail in my tire, and although it was losing air slowly, it wasn’t flat yet. I had replaced all my tires here just 6 months ago, so I went back on a Saturday to have it checked. They told me they’d order a new tire and that mine would be fine to use until then. They promised it would arrive Sunday, or at the latest Monday morning. Unfortunately, just a couple of hours after leaving (only driving home from Costco), the tire went completely flat. Sunday came and went — no tire. Monday, the same. When I called to check, I was told they were still waiting for it. Finally, when I called again on Tuesday at 2:30 PM, they said the tire had "just arrived" but they could only replace it if I came in within 15 minutes, or otherwise I’d have to wait until Wednesday at 3:30 PM! If I had known it would take four days to get this done, I would’ve taken my car somewhere else from the start. The poor communication and lack of urgency made an already frustrating situation much worse. Very disappointed with the experience.

It was the most frustrating and total waste of time at this location. Initially, they said it would take 1 hour and 45 minutes, but I waited for 3 hours to get my car. There are most unprofessional associates at the tire desk; please avoid coming to this location.

Good prices, insane wait time. Over two hours and counting to get one tire replaced. Come with A LOT of time to wait if you're getting anything done here.

Made an appointment for 1pm. I get there, drop off the car. And shop for 1/2 hr. Go back to the desk and they haven’t even started yet. Then they tell me it’s going to be 1.5 to 2 additional hours. Here I am standing around waiting. No one told me to expect that long. Ridiculous and the attendant was kind of rude.

Not sure Costco (Tire Service Center) gives a damn, but it's consistently poor service anytime I've interacted with them. Today was the last straw. I gave them the specifications for the (flat) tire on my SUV. They assured me that they had the replacement tires in stock and that they could install it today. I had to take time off from work and schedule an appointment with AAA to have my car towed to the tire center only to be told by one of the employees that his colleague had "made a mistake" and did not have the tire in stock. No sorry, no regret, 5 hours later they have not even put the spare tire on. ZERO customer service. Shame on them. Avoid this place like the plague.

Even though I came with an appointment and confirmed at drop-off that it would take no more than 2 hours, it’s been over 3 hours and my car is still not ready. It was only for rotation and balance — that’s all. And every half hour they kept telling me “10 more minutes,” which was not true. After about 3 hours and 48 minutes, they finally returned my car — but in a very rude manner. The employee’s name was George. He definitely needs training on how to communicate with customers and treat them with respect. When handing me the keys, he didn’t provide any information or even offer an apology. Never again — Costco Tire, never again.

First time trying out Costco tire center and it was a hugely botched time quote. I was quoted 1 hr of wait time for changing to 4 new tires after calling multiple times and confirming. They didn’t even start on the car until 1.5 hours after I dropped it off. It’s over 2.5 hours now and still waiting. COSTCO MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER ON TIME QUOTES. There are plenty of tire shops in the area that can get this type of work done in under 30 minutes. I even bought a Costco membership for this reason and honestly very disappointed and considering a full refund of the tires and the membership. I will say the workers were all really nice but that doesn’t excuse the botched time quote.

Jack was amazing. He went above and beyond in making sure that my experience was second to none. Lesly also made the checkout process as smooth as a Sunday morning cappuccino. After I changed my tires I entered the main building and was looking in the produce section. A kind gentleman named Cameron greeted me with such joy. On my way out, I had a splendid conversion with a fellow named Marc who was pushing the shopping carts in a very nice fashion. Hats off to you gentleman. I will be back!

We had 2 vehicles in today for full tire set replacements. We ordered online and scheduled installation online which was super easy. When you do that they text you when your tires arrive at the store and give you the option to install sooner than your original appointment if they arrived early, which ours did for both vehicles. Other reviewers reported long wait times but based on our experience today that might be the exception not the norm. We planned for 3 hours for each vehicle just in case, but both of our vehicles were done in less than an hour and a half from our appointment times. We went during the pre-Christmas craziness. Because of how crazy the rest of the store was, we had to allow an extra 15 mins before our appointment to find a parking spot. Thankfully we called the tire center ahead of time and they warned us about how busy the parking lot was. Eduardo helped us out at the customer service desk when we were swapping cars between appointments. He was so incredibly helpful. His stellar level of service is the reason we wanted to share our review. Thank you Eduardo!
