Him and his Employees are Very Knowledgeable, their rates are Great, and you don’t half to sell one of your kidneys to pay for them to fix your car. I've come a few times to Crescent Auto because a friend referred me to them. I've found they are friendly and ethical, meaning one of the employees or the owner will show me the issue, drives with me so I can indicate the issue, are priced fairly (I've called other shops about the issue, requested an estimate and it was always more than what Crescent cited), etc. I had one time my car was jerking, they told me to come in even though it was last minute and took a look at my car right away. I will say, while I've waited in the office for my car to be looked at, I've heard other customers complain and Paul or Jeff will politely explain to them what was actually wrong with their car that might be different than what the owner of the car thought it was, or are waiting for parts (which really, they do not have complete control over), etc. They are always patient with these people. I will keep coming here and definitely recommend this shop to anyone who asks where I go!

We had such a great experience. We were looking at a new car in Corona. Read the reviews. Decided to try. I called him at 830 and asked if he could look at it.he made time for us and did a great job inspecting. He is professional and an overall nice guy. Very impressed. We had 3 crazy kids and he was gracious. Would recommend him in a heart beat.

Paul and David were awesome. Mind you my only experience with these gentlemen was for a smog check. No bells and whistles just a great price for a service. Often times in Smog/Auto shops you're dealing with "wrench turners" lacking people skills, not the case here. Paul was very pleasant to me and my fiancee and we were in and out in about 10 minutes. I noticed other reviews before coming but let's be honest here, the MACHINES fail your vehicle folks not the people operating them. If your check engine light is malfunctioning you're not going to pass even if the Lord himself anoints your car before testing. It's funny people often complain when they have an unpleasant experience but rarely commend businesses for the excellent customer service and the service they provide. My fiancee's car was NOT brand new, it passed, shocker. I regularly do the maintanance on her car myself as I have had a few bad experiences at other shops. Regular tune ups and fluid changes are necessary, there is an old saying "A car is a city man's horse, so take care of your horse." People run their vehicles into the ground and act surprised when repairs cost them more in the long run. Anyway, getting a little off topic but thank you Paul for your excellent and underrated customer service skills. We'll see you in two years for the next smog check unless we get a "new horse" and a smog isn't necessary.

Good place to go for a smog , the price is not 40$ anymore it’s 50$ cash or 58$ with card , I have gotten it done before for 40$ but they recently raised there prices. Overall the location has good service.

Super good smog shop. Not to be confused with other smog shop next door. The best one has a lot of toys in their office. $40 cash, no problem. I spent only 20 min. Waiting there. One station so it depends how busy the tech, but they are quick. Owner is nice and honest. 2nd gen small family business that gives back to the community. What's not to love?

Paid something around 80 bucks for an in depth pre-purchase inspection on a car I was interested in. I gave them 3-4 hours to inspect it and they came back saying the car was in great condition. I then bought said car and within three weeks it’s broken down on me numerous times and the engine started failing. Later I found out they’re actually buddies with the used car lot I bought from (Green Light Auto around the corner). The owner here, Paul, is close friends with the manager there, and apparently they send cars back and forth all the time. They also failed to mention that my battery was four years old and wasn’t even secured properly as it was missing the holder entirely. That alone should’ve been obvious in an inspection. Oh, and did I mention one of my backseats SEATBELTS were missing and that was also never mentioned? 🤦🏽‍♀️ When I went back asking for a refund, the owner randomly hugged me (super weird) but refunded me while insisting that he “did a good job” and only gave the refund as long as I didn’t leave a bad review. Three weeks later, I find out from a professional mechanic that I’m missing obvious parts (like the battery holder and seatbelt) and my engine is failing. Unreal.
