I only go to discount tire for my tire needs. Dominick was exceptional. He greeted me once they opened their doors as there was a line formed at 7:50am. I was the first in line thankfully. I explained the situation he took my keys and took my truck into the bay for them to begin working on it. Quoted 45 min wait, ETC at 9:00am. The job was done at 8:28am! Less than 25 min they fixed my tire which has only 7K miles on it and ate a huge galvanized nail. Tire looks just like new! When I looked back there was 7 people/cars waiting to be helped. My plan worked to get there early! Dominick was the only one I heard addressing the line that they would be with them soon. Everyone else was working like busy bees!

I had 6 tires put on at a Discount in Albuquerque and that store damaged my front wheel. They wouldn’t return my calls and the management at Rio Rancho store got a hold of the regional manager and helped me get my wheel repaired and then they installed it and rebalanced all 6 wheels and the vibrations went away.

Took my truck in for two new front tires and an alignment. They didn’t properly do my alignment and my wheels were now rubbing in the well plastic when I turned sharp. Took it back the next day they had it all day again. Said they fixed it and once I left i noticed the same problem and now truck is pulling to the left. Looked closer at the paper work and they aligned it to a jeep specs. I called and got reimbursed but will never use them for alignment again. Only good to get new tires at. (Edit) customer service department reached out and was very helpful in trying to find a resolution bumped up from 2 stars to 3

I’ve only ever used Discount tires. They’ve always treated me well and not like a dumb female. After several days of my tire pressure sensor staying on (cooler weather) I went for a free check. Got some much needed air in my tires and then the, “Your tires are in bad shape. They are splitting and rotting and should be replaced immediately.” I, being clueless and not having paid attention lately, started to panic and stress about needing to get new tires. I cried on the way home stressing about how to get new tires with some home repairs also needing to be done. I have my dad come to have a look and says there’s nothing wrong and my tires look fine. Couldn’t find any evidence of splitting or cracking. I don’t like businesses like this. I get making sales but if you’re not being honest and don’t have integrity, I may need to look elsewhere for my next set of tires. Unfortunately, one person can ruin the experience.

I am so beyond disappointed in this location. I went in for a faulty tpms sensor, they told me my truck would be in and ready in 1 hour, my truck was not ready until 5 hours later. The sales rep was not very professional, this man was talking to me like a toddler, and responded as if I was an inconvenience. While I was waiting the tech working on my vehicle went into the lobby whining and complaining to the sales rep about not being able to program the sensors which was not professional at all. Next they told me I needed to change all my sensors, mind you I went in to change ONE, I know how tpms sensors work, and they upcharged me to replace all of them. I was fed up and just paid because I was ready to get out of there. Lastly when I asked to get my old sensors back, they only gave me 3, they said the last one got lost. And to finish off I went to another shop to check the 3 sensors that were taken off my vehicle and returned to me, 2 were perfectly fine. To the Rio Rancho Store and Regional Manager I will be reaching out to you.

I went to Discount Tire thinking I may have had a nail in one of my tires, hoping it could be repaired after work. To my surprise I had 3 nails in one tire and the belts in my other 3 tires were broken after my car had been worked on at the dealership for 3 weeks. Chris was understanding of my shock and did not pressure me into a sale which I appreciated. However, after finding this out, I did not want to chance driving any further so I went forward with getting 4 new tires. Chris was willing to work to get me a better price on my tires which I massively appreciated after spending 5k at the dealership and several hundred on new tires earlier this spring. Once the workers got to my car, the work was done within 20 minutes. I felt the overall experience was positive and I would return again.

If I could give him zero Stars I would. I made the mistake and took the truck to Discount Tire and they installed brand new tires on a truck that I have had for over 10 years never given me a single problem. They were also paid to align the truck after picking up the truck it was completely destroyed pulling severely to the right in an unsafe manner to even drive fought with the manager over three visits and the issue was never corrected and responsibility was never taken. I called Ruben and his team this afternoon they had me in the shop within 15 minutes out the door within 2 hours and the truck is in perfect alignment. Don't waste your time and money taking your vehicle here when you have our awesome team here at Big O Tire.

Discount Tire never disappoints. Friendly and honest staff. I took my Jetta in for a flat tire. The puncture was fairly close to the sidewall and the tires were on the bottom end of the good tread. All they had to do is say it wasn’t repairable and they could have sold me a new set of tires. They not only repaired that puncture (for free even though they didn’t sell these tires), but a 2nd puncture as well. It so refreshing to know there are honest businesses out there. I’ll be back in a couple months to buy new tires.

I am extremely disappointed with my services that were rendered. I worked with their manager Steve O and a new gentlemen like he kept apologizing and saying he was new. I had gone in for an air check and one of my tires had a bubble in it and I was told under the warranty I could have my tire replaced and after much upsetting by the manager I purchased two new tires of a different brand because I was told they were better tread and value. I reiterated that I had 4 wheel drive on multiple different occasions and was never notified during that transaction that if I didnt replace all 4 of my SUV tires to the same brand then I could damage the 4 wheel drive to the vehicle. If I would have been told that I would have never ever chosen a different brand of tires knowing i told them I wasnt in the position to purchase 4 tires at the time. They put two new tires and lug nuts on my car and I immediately after driving off the lot had a screeching sound coming from my tires over 40 that gets worse and worse. I went back in after 2 weeks to speak with the manager about it and he suggested I go get my vehicle checked out at southern automotive as I may have an issue with my 4 wheel drive now due to different types of tires being put on my car that is 4 wheel drive and I reiterated that to Steve directly during purchasing the tires and there is an embellum on the back of my car and he went out to my car directly with me and opened the back hatch where it says 4x4. Im so upset and disappointed with being lied to and feeling like I was taken advantage of and lied to for being a woman. I simply wanted my one tire replaced and he sold me on a bunch of additional things that ultimately caused damage to my vehicle and he should have never suggested that I buy 2 tires of different brand. How terrible customer service to sell someone something knowingly admitting that you knew you shouldn't have sold someone 2 new tires of a different brand on a 4 wheel drive vehicle and telling me that after the fact when I had issues with my vehicle after bringing it back in that it may have damaged my 4 wheel drive. I dont know the amount of damages yet but it will be expensive and this is 100 percent not my fault. I hope discount tire makes things right for me & takes responsibility because I didnt cause this issue to happen to my vehicle and I feel lied to, deceived and taken advantage of by the manager Steve O.

DAVE YOURSELF FRUSTRATING AND GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION! Worst service I've experienced in over 20 years as customer. I've always appreciated service locations all over US as I've traveled all over for work. Made an appt which they did not honor, I inquired upon check in If appt would be honored and assured it would be. As time passed and car was not taken in, I inquired again, again assured it would be out on time. Finally taken in 15 mind before I was assured it would be out and surprise surprise, now 10 minutes later and STILL NOT OUT.

I came in for a tire patch (which they offer for free and is smart as that's how they got me). The Discount Tire worker let me know my tires were in the yellow status so I decided to upgrade to new tires. Fortunately they will price match (which i did to walmart) so that helped save a good bit. The sales person was also very knowledgeable and friendly. 5/5 I would come back for new tires or any required maintenance (which hopefully I won't need for a while).

Had a great experience at Discount Tire. Online ordering and scheduling was easy, and I really appreciated that they offer discounts for veterans. The wait to be seen was a little long, but once they got my car in, they changed the tires and replaced the TPMS faster than a pizza can be made at Dion’s Pizza. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and efficient service once they started. I’d definitely recommend them and will be back for future tire needs.

Generally DiscounTire is decent. This time not so much. There installer/installers tore up a new set of center caps on my service truck. The caps and wheels had never been off the vehicle since new. Tried reaching out to a manager and did send pics. Didnt get a response after. These are not inexpensive caps. Not necessarily aboit the money, but more about accountability.

Got into an incident in the highway three days later after this install not because of the tires but because an animal xsing the road. W/o these tires my car wouldn't be able to stabilize as quick as it did. Don't underestimate new and good tires.

I think this shop knows what they are doing for tires, however when it comes to more mechanical needs, I absolutely DO NOT recommend this shop! I brought my vehicle that I spent the last month working on to drive again, put nice new parts in personally worked very hard to get it in the shape that it is now, almost completely replaced the suspension systems. The last job I needed was an alignment to get it back on the road, I was very excited. I brought my vehicle in, they took about 1.5x longer than they said expected time would be and came back and said I needed to torque down my inner tie rod because it was loose. What they withheld to tell me during this time was that they accidentally pulled my inner tie rod out when looking at the outer one, AND they failed it to put it back together correctly after the fact and even called a mechanic down from another shop, this specific shop I do not like and would NEVER do business with so i’m pretty upset that they let someone else touch my vehicle without my knowledge or permission. When I picked up my vehicle they did not say a word about this happening. When I got home and later got under the vehicle to inspect it l, right away noticed my new inner clip ring was missing, and my brand new boots were completely loose and bent up. I returned immediately and let them know the issues, they did not show any accountability or apologies, they provided a refund of their services and offered to order the part needed and fix the alignment following, we took our refund and will not be continuing to give our money here. The alignment guy lied straight to our face when we asked him if the clip was their prior to the inner tie rod falling off and he said no, even though we personally did all of the work on the vehicle and checked multiple times so when know damn sure it was there. Its a lot easier to lose a small clip like that when you are in a huge shop vs when I’m just working on it in our clean garage so we know for sure we didn’t lose it or it came off. Now I have to find a vehicle to drive again for another week or more while I wait for this part to come in the mail, then take it apart and put it back together again. Do not recommend giving your money here. They are dishonest workers and do not take care of your property! This is also now the second time in the last 6 months I have brought my vehicles back to them due to failed communication and incomplete work.
