my service was horrible. I took my 1994 jeep cherokee se in for an alighment and balance. It took almost 7 hours. I had a child in the hospital and needed to get baxk to nebraska. My wife adressed the man at the desk and he was rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. I would never recomend A-1 to anyone. Its horrible.

The dealer told me a needed a Radiator, but these guys found it was a simple gasket - $50 versus $500. They could have said radiator, but were honest. Absolutely recommend based on integrity.

These people tried to rip me off so bad for what. Cause ima female? They think i must have low intelligence cause this was unacceptable. Basically there was a weird knocking noise my car would make while driving. I got it diagnosed here and there telling me it cost $1600+ to fix. I was like no way. so i get a second opinion at another shop and they said ALL I NEEDED WAS A WHEEL BALANCE AND ROTATION for $150 or sum. And boom the noise was gone just like that and i didnt have to pay $1600+. What they said was wrong with my car had nun to do with actually was wrong. Moral of the story, dont go here. Save ya self some money!

My vehicle wouldn't start while I was downtown. It was later in the evening and most shops in the area were closed. The owner just happened to be there and said he was closed, but offered to take a look. He jump started my truck, which worked, and told me to come back after the weekend and he'd have somebody take a look at it. I was there first thing Tuesday morning (no appointment), and although there were other customers there, he got me in quickly. He didn't charge me for the jump or the tests on the electrical system. Even though I didn't buy anything from him as my battery was still under warranty from the auto parts store. I will definitely be bringing my business here even though it is across town for me.

I went in for a vibration issue with my truck. The owner listened to my list of problems and then explained it was just mud on the inside of my tires and I could easily just wash it of myself and fix the problem. I mentioned it was odd for a business owner to let opportunity slide like that and he just said, "we do fine. " I will be back for all my service work from this point on.

Called over the phone and the owner was really nice and not trying to get my money. I told him the issue I was having with my car and he was very knowledgeable as to what it might be. He didn't pressure me to come in for them to check it out he just gave me the honest truth and that goes really far. I will most likely be going here for any of my car needs.

I like to support local, I do. That's why I first went to Dominick's when I was looking for a place to get an oil change, car inspection, and other general maintenance. When I dropped my car off for a scheduled appointment, I asked if they would have time to look at another issue I was having with my car shaking and pulling when speeding up. They said they would look, no problem! Since they are only open weekdays, I even took a day off work in order to leave my car there all day. When they called me to pick it up and I arrived, they informed me they did not have time that day to look at the issue, but that it was "probably just my tires as they are quite worn down and need to be replaced." I asked if they could double check since I was heading out of town for the weekend and didn't want to get stranded somewhere. Phillip informed me that they were actually closing early that day due to a mechanic calling in, but that he was sure it was just my tires. I said I would be in next payday to continue services with them and went on my way. WELL. I am currently stranded on the side of the highway 120 miles away from home because the "pulling when speeding up" quickly escalated into "Not speeding up at all" and now cannot move. I am going to have to pay over $400 dollars to get my car home, probably take another day off work to get it to a garage, and then pay for a likely costlier repair. All because I trusted Dominick's Automotive at their word. Rather than taking the time to look at my car, they opted to close early on a Friday. I will NEVER use this garage again and will happily advise anyone who will listen to go elsewhere.

There should be an option for negative stars. Called the previous day to explain the situation with my car (car is valuable, driver-restrictions due to insurance, etc) and was told "no problem". Arrived this morning and was told they need to drive my car around for "quality purposes". Ever heard of mechanics joyriding 1000+ HP cars? Yep! I respectfully declined for above reasons (Im in the automotive industry for 21 years and can tell them exactly what the issue is) but they showed me the door in a rather rude way. Vehicle was unsafe (they didn't care) to drive, so stuck waiting for a tow again. They also sold themselves as having been working on performance cars when the most valuable car I've seen there was a 2010 Prius. Shop was overall dirty, employees didn't seem overly qualified based on the questions I was asked. To be fair, they probably knew this car is out of their ballpark, but it would've been nice to say so on the phone. In short: If u car is worth over 35k, stay away. If ur car is modified, stay away. If you want to deal with professionals, stay away.

After getting screwed over by the Firestone 2 blocks away and having my time completely wasted, I called A-1 here and asked them for a quick ID/OD on an older vehicle I’ve been trying to get titled. After a little back and forth explaining that it won’t be a full inspection since it was too late, the guys agreed to verify the VIN of the vehicle and send me on my merry way at the last minute. Good guys. Quick work. No fuss or wasted time. I called them. Agreed to parameters, showed up, was let in, checked out, and then left. Will return here for future inspections easily.

Extremely happy with the service I received at Dominick’s yesterday! I messed up my alignment badly while driving to work and was worried about finding a shop that could repair it in a timely manner. Went for alignment for an 2012 Audi A6 Quattro they charged me $200, $160 for "Euro Alignment" and $40 for manually set up, car still drove to the right slightly with steering wheel straight, now my light popped back on and steering wheel slightly cocked right not even a full 48hrs later and are not open for the weekends. Monday I will be at the shop with receipt and will keep reviewing open.....

Best alignments I've ever had. Dead on perfect 4 wheel alignment and stability program recalibrate. These guys rock! Seriously the best alignment shop in the entire KC area and its not even a debate.
