George is a true and honest mechanic. Came to fix porsche and something his scanner wasnt capable of doing or my porsche probably need to go to the dealer. Most shops would still charge for diagnosing but he didnt. I will bring all the rest of my vehicles back to him and also recommend friends to.

My vintage Mercedes (owned since new) was beginning to show some age-related mechanical issues, some of which the dealership in town had not been able (or willing?) to figure out. On a recommendation, I took it to George. Problems solved! Although it took a couple of weeks due to his heavy schedule, he did what was necessary to troubleshoot the issues and make the needed repairs, all for a fair price. It's a 100 mile roundtrip for me to take my car there, but his conscientious work will be worth it.

The owner was easy to talk to. I'm a single female, so I deal with men who intentionally try to confuse you or just leave out information thinking you don't understand. I received excellent customer service here, took my 2012 VW Jetta for new spark plugs and transmission service. His prices were in line with some of the lower quotes I received ($200-300 cheaper) than other quotes from the dealership and other places around town. When I arrived to pickup my car, the hood was open and he took a flash light and went over some things about my car, including a vacuum pump seal that is leaking oil and needs to be replaced at some point. He spoke to me as if this car stuff was easy to understand, and did a wonderful job explaining so that it made perfect sense to me. He seemed honest. I would absolutely take my car back here to be worked on, knowing I'm not going to be treated like a dumb girl. I'm actually pretty smart, and I have an uncanny sense for when I'm being hustled. Thank you for being awesome.

I love George. I've taken both of my Jettas there. I've never one had to take my vehicle back to be repaired twice. I drop in sometimes to have minor things taken care of and he never turns me away. If anyone is lucky to find a great mechanic then price becomes secondary.

This is actually my second review for this auto repair shop. (First review under Joleen Vincent). I've now taken my car here several times over the last year to repair a tricky vacuum pump, new brakes, the spring arms in my trunk and a headlight that won't stop giving me problems. The owner has been consistently professional, always gets my car in for repair within a week of me calling (sometimes as fast as the next day!!). His prices are ALWAYS more than fair, and best yet he talks to me like a real person, capable of understanding how my own car works. He will be my mechanic forevermore. Lol. Guys like these are hard to find!! I recommend him to all my friends and family as well. Thank you for always taking such good care of me!

It was my first time coming to this auto shop, and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this auto repair for European cars. Let me start off by saying I've been going to a different shop (EU Tech) to service my 2017 BMW 4-series for years, but as a single female, I found EU Tech staff often dismissive and sometimes downright rude. This last time my car needed service, I decided to take it in to European Auto Care to get their opinion. George is amazing. First of all, this guy answers the phone himself and does most of the work himself - no pushy "service manager" middle-man type people. He is also kind, caring, and honest. He explained everything to me without talking down to me, but also enough that I would truly understand what was going on with my car. He found a leak that EU Tech had missed, and did the work required to get my car back up and running for much less than EU Tech would have charged me. He updated me personally throughout the job, had great communication, and got it done quickly and correctly. When I picked up my car, he showed me the parts he had replaced and what he noticed that was causing my issue. Drop off, pick up, and payment were all straightforward and easy. Then, to top it all off, George called me a few days after I picked up my car just to check on how the car was running. Honestly, amazing. I'll be back. My two cents: If you're debating between European Auto Care and another shop, give your business to someone who actually cares and understands how to treat a customer, like George.

George is the only one I trust to work on my BMW. He's worked on my car several times and fixed things that either I couldn't handle myself or that I had tried and failed to fix myself. He's very knowledgeable, and I think that his prices are fair. He's also the only one I've found between the Sacramento and Bay Area that has both the knowledge to work on vintage and modern cars AND that will actually make the time to take a look at your car. Forget about the dealership and big corporate automotive repair chains - just take your car to George.
