Please don't support corporate owned auto mechanic shops. They are outrageously overpriced for simple fixes. I understand that's not the technicians fault. I was quoted $1100 for labor alone on a shifter cable replacement not even including the price on the parts. I called around to local shops and found a mechanic that repaired my shifter cable for only $258. Shout out to Main Express Auto & Mobile Mechanic Arlington. I hope this saves someone else the time and money like it did myself.

My nephew took my truck in for an appointment for a diagnostic and the part that needed replaced. He waited close to 4 hrs for something that was supposed to take 2 hrs from start to finish. They never replaced the part. And charged me $150 for a diagnostic test that was quoted at less than $50. I will not be going back to that very incompetent store.

Im writing this review on behalf of my mother who is pretty much just a fed up as I am when comes to being ripped off by big profit companies when it comes to cars. In the past we have received decent results when it comes to doing business with Firestone however this past week has made me change my mind on that. We took our 2020 Chevy Trax in mid -late November to be looked at because it continued to overheat despite placing coolant in it . We got charged fur thermostat to be replaced , water hosing, and water flush . That to a total of little over $500. A few months earlier we spent the amount for something similar. Not even a week later it start overheating again and also started smoking as well. We decided this to have a local mechanic to take a look this time around because we didn’t want to continue paying out of pocket for a problem that could be an easy fix . Our local mechanic not only informed us that nothing was replaced but it looks like some broke the hosing for thermostat and attempted to use sealant as a temporary fix. Also the water hose never got replaced. He went ahead and replaced both and fix our car within 3 hours fur only $200 . Phone call to Firestone : My mother did call this location to let them know that she wanted some type of refund since it appears that no one really fixed our car and someone by the name of Mr. Jacobs thought it was okay to make feel bad for calling and stated it was too late for her to receive a refund. So Firestone my question to you is why do you believe it was okay to rip of a senior citizen who has been a customer with you all for quite some time? Also Mr Jacobs lady time I checked your location failed to keep a standard in regards to safety and quality care car of our vehicle for something that was an easy fix. With that being said , you won’t have worry about my family spending any more money with your establishment. We’ll keep in touch Consumer Protection since you believe it was okay to rip off a woman for at least $500 for nothing .

Fantastic service! Mason, Ivan, the store manager all extremely helpful in my time of need. Felt like I was being helped, not taken. That's worth a lot. Never heard so many "yes sir" 's in one location in the hour I was there. I tried 3 times to give them money, but they couldn't help us so repeatedly "no charge" was the reply. Just great folks. Trust them with your car. Enjoy the donuts and coffee guys! Appreciate you.
