The Service Department was great! Especially James with working with the extended warranty insurance to make sure everything was covered. After I returned the loaner car, I got a call saying that when the car was being cleaned the guy cleaning it found a $5 bill and that they were going to credit to my account. I told them to let him keep it for being honest! Overall this was a great experience. As a woman I felt respected.

I was there to inquire about lease option for CX-90. The sales person took good care of us, had a great test drive and gave us the leading number however, while coming out of the building, there were 3 other sales people who mockingly said to buy the car today and they will lower the price for me and I would still not buy. I mean I don’t understand why would you mock your future customers. Also I was already speaking with a sales guy so why are these three other guys outside the building trying to negotiate to me when I’m returning home. I get that that not all customers will buy your cars but I really didn’t like the mocking part. It was not even funny to ridicule another person. Going to other dealers.

Fantastic experience. Transparent pricing, no shenanigans. My salesman Ben was top notch, kind and informative. The finance guy was fast and efficient. Whole process in and out the door was about an hour but i was able to do a lot of legwork via email and phone calls prior to this. I highly recommend using Fitzgerald if you're in the market for a new vehicle.

We had a very good experience buying a new Mazda. We test drove the car on Tuesday and came back to buy it on Saturday. They didn’t give us a hard time or try to pressure us into closing. There were no hidden fees or unwanted add ons. They did offer some add ons but didn’t pressure us when we declined them. Wade was our salesman and he was kind and helpful, answered our questions and when he didn’t know the answer he would promptly find it for us. Fitzgerald Mazda has earned my business and I look forward to working with them in the future.

My second time purchasing with Fitzgerald, Mazda of Frederick. I love my Mazda,3 hatchback. The service package that I have, and the treatment that they give me go beyond excellent every time! John Lee was my salesman for the second time, and I highly recommend him! I also am highly impressed with Gustavo and James in service! They are ALWAYS very professional and friendly. The live videos of the service performed on my car while I am waiting are great. Definitely a great place to buy a car. I will be back in 2025 for a trade in!

Wow. I’d give this place negative stars if that was possible. By far the worst service experience I’ve ever had anywhere. All I can say is, if you take your vehicle here make sure you know exactly what your car’s manufacturer actually recommends for service. Because if you don’t know, they will take advantage of it (like they did to my wife). Which turned a $200 service into an $1100 service. When I confronted them as to why they claimed all of this additional service was being done (way way beyond what was recommended by Mazda for a 40k mile service ) they couldn’t provide an answer and blamed it on my wife. Secondly, if they recommend a part needs replace, do yourself the favor and call another Mazda dealer. I saw the quote, made one phone call to another Mazda dealer and the price with labor and parts was 30% cheaper than what Fitzgerald was charging.

I got my first vehicle all by myself through Fitzgerald Mazda here in Frederick! From the beginning I was impressed with the service that was granted to me. After having my new vehicle I got my first oil change and the place told me “the oil filter is to tight”? So I call Fitzgerald to converse about the issue..they took the car in immediately and found damage, and made the decision to cover the expense of the issue due to not knowing where the issue arise from. All I can say is I'm very grateful with the services that I have experienced here with Fitzgerald and will always tell people to get a car here! They are loyal and trustworthy of their part and role. I was in the market for a new vehicle and wasn’t sure what make or model I wanted. I had owned my previous SUV for nearly a decade and did not drive it much. But it was time. I did sooooo much research. Sticker shock? I fully anticipated higher prices but WOW! I finally decided on a 2025 Mazda CX50 Meridian after reading the Car and Driver review. (This is my first Mazda.) That brought me to my local Fitzgeralds Auto Mall. The service was phenomenal from my initial text to the Internet Specialist, to the Salesman, to the Manager, and the Finance Manager. Communication was spot on. They treated me like family. Seriously! Everyone I encountered there seemed genuinely happy to be “at work.” What a great experience they provided. Jack Fitzgerald’s “no haggle” approach really helped make this a no-pain transaction. Wish he was still with us so that I could thank him personally. 🙏 Special shout out to my salesman, Bobby, who guided me along the way as we awaited my vehicle delivery. UPDATED 12/20 review: Right after I posted the first review, a manger at the dealer reached out to me to futher understand what happened and before I got the chance to call him back (he was already gone for the weekend when I got the voicemail), their guest relations representative called me to understand what happened and offered to get it corrected. She apologized and assured me she'll get the issue resolved. She didn't disappoint, she delivered on her promise and get my rims repaired. It really seems like they cared about my experience and wanted to make things right. I bought a certified used car from this dealer and the process was overall not too terrible. If it wasn't for what happened next it would be nearly 5 stars. So on the day of the purchase I go the lot and see the car which was in overall good condition for a used car. I pointed out a few things to sales guys including scratches on the rim and minor touch ups inside the car. He says their detail guy can take care of as he is on site that day. I am buying the car regardless but would have been nice to get those cleaned up and fixed. So we go through with the purchase process and pay for the car and he says that their guy had just left. But he's here Mondays - some other day - and Fridays. So I said I can come next Friday. You can already see where this is going lol. I drive out - 1 hour in bad weather - there the following Friday and the sales guy see me and comes out and asks for which rims and see them. Goes back inside and talks to his manager then comes to me and says to me that his manager says no on the rims but they can do the interior touch ups. I push back and say that you told me these items were going to get fixed. He says he never said it was "guaranteed." He fixates that never said guaranteed keeps repeating it and argues like a child honestly. He turns around and sit at his desk and starts browsing the internet after I can explain to him that when you tell people "come back and I'll fix this for you" you don't have to say the word "guaranteed". I told him that you cant just turn around and ignore people and he says you kept repeating yourself and I never said guaranteed so not much I could do here. He clearly was left out there to dry by his manager. Any way they didn't fix the rims as promised but did other minor items inside the car. As sleezy of car dealership as it gets. They just wanted to get the car sale in and not honor what they said. I know I should have had them write it in the contract but man this is just too stereotypical sales car person.
