A co-worker of mine recommended I take my Tahoe here because I was having an issue with it. I highly recommend this shop. Wry family oriented and friendly. Pulled my vehicle in the shop, diagnosed what the issue was and had it fixed all within about an hour and a half. As this is my family's only vehicle and we have kids, they definitely helped out a great bit. Again thank you to everyone in the shop for all the help. Will definitely be bringing my vehicle back for any issues I'm the future. Well done job everyone!!

When I moved here a few years ago I was really nervous to find a mechanic because I don't know anything about cars. I live close by but this is the first time I've visited. My Mom has used them before and told me they were great. They ARE! Slow leak in my tire. It was down to 3 PSI. I didn't know if would be a patch or replace. 1 hour before closing on Friday they said bring it on in. 😊 Patch and only $30. Very nice owner and wife. Very clean and welcoming wait area. Just NICE people. Quality, fast service. They're my new mechanics. Thank you.

Since moving from another state 3 years ago, I have never been to another car shop. Everyone at Tool in Hand is very informative and kind! Best customer service in person and over the phone, great prices, and overall great mechanic service. I can’t say enough positive things about Tool In Hand. I have taken my car here twice and I will not take it anywhere else. They are patient, kind, affordable, and very honest. They allowed me to bring in my own parts for them to install, and upon further inspection they realized I had ordered the wrong part. They didn’t make me feel like an idiot for that which I really appreciate. But not only that, They were still able to replace the part same day after my appointment time, after finding the correct one in town. They also assisted with locating the correct part. Tim and Carol took care of me and again I will not be taking my car anywhere else. Great business, great people, great results. Thanks again!

I highly recommend this business. This is one of the first mechanics I’ve been to that I never feel ripped off. They are honest, professional, and very friendly. I never hope to have vehicle issues, but when I do have them, we bring our cars to them because we trust them. Compared to Honda dealership, Tool in Hand prices are fair and not overly priced. When waiting in the waiting room, the staff is friendly and communicative especially in explaining vehicle issues, solutions, and estimates. Always on point- 6 years ago. Today marks a day for a new review. I've been a client for 7 years. I have brought all of my company vehicles to them for a long time. They finally loved out of frederick to a much larger shop space north of frederick along interstate 15. These guys have always done me right and been honest with me. Today was a simple wobble diagnosis with a front brake change. In the past its been anything from inspections of newly purchased vehicles to open heart surgery. When you call you are usually greeted by Carroll. She is the sweetest lady in the world. Her husband runs the shop there with his team of mechanics. Now that they have moved north, I am recommending all of my contacts who live nearby to them. These guys are amazing.

Both times I've been there, they've done good work, been pleasant to work with, and their prices are reasonable. One thing I really like is that you can make an appointment at a specific time, and they actually look at your car and do the repairs right then and there. I needed something done, I had an appointment at 1 pm, and I was out with a completed repair by 3.
