I stopped by here as I took my car to another mechanic and was not happy with my quote ($710). I asked Nick (the owner) for a quote for the same job without telling him my original quote including parts and his quote was $450. He informed me how much each part was and how much labor should be and that it was a routine job. The labor cost at both places where the same (around $90 to $100 an hour). I will take my car here from now on, as it is hard to find a good mechanic. I would highly recommend.

Great business. Prices are great and he is honest about how long he needs your car for a service. He is a give it to straight and let's you know what's needed and what I need to look out for which I like to be able to budget. Ive had my oil change and several services done including something having to do with my air conditioner..sorry im not the car type so I dont remember what exactly it was. They have a waiting area in the office but its so close to so much downtown that I explore the area. They have been their for so long and it shows because it never looks slow.

My first experience here was several years ago,when Nick fixed a problem which had been causing exhaust to enter the cabin so I had been driving with all windows down -- while I waited and for a reasonable pric. I left my car at this shop on Monday and picked it up today. I'm pretty sure they gave me a different car back because it runs so good. I am very happy that I found this shop after reading the reviews, all talk about honesty, fair prices and small business, very important to consider when you need your car repaired. They are a family owned and operated shop, and they give you 5 star service. The Ofc mgr Anna stayed in contact with me and kept me updated, the communication was excellent. The prices are very good and I was so grateful for that as my van needed several things done to it. Everything I talked about to them is repaired, and my van runs like a dream.

Nick and Anna are the best, they always take the best care of my car and do it for a great price. Just recently I had another auto shop try to charge me $7k (tried to charge me for a part that was not needed). The team at Fort Sutter was able to fix my issue parts and labor included for $2.4k. I mean you really can’t beat their level of service!
