Googled "pre purchase vehicle inspection lancaster pa" and this was the first thing up. Their website says AND I QUOTE: "Pre-Purchase Inspections Are you planning to buy a new car? Very discouraged by just calling this place to even think about fixing my 2015 truck called last year and was told the same thing it will cost me too much to fix! So is my truck not fixable ? Maybe im willing to pay what it needs to fix it or maybe is your business not capable of fixing my vehicle?

Staff is friendly and helpful. They took the time to clean off my old inspection stickers which I had left a mess, they also put my new lisence plate on for me. I hadn't asked for these to be done, they did it on a busy day simply because they seem to care about things being done well. Highly recommend.

So thankful to live so close to this garage. It's a blessing to be able to drop off your car and then walk home. The employees are excellent at their job and friendly to clients. You can't ask for more than that other than honest and that they are definitely!

I had a brake pad wear down a few weeks ago and had to get it towed. Frank’s Garage was hospitable in the short time frame. They started working on it same day and even included a last minute oil change for me. Other garages turned me away because they were too busy. They were honest and timely.

I have been going here for about 40 years now, and this is the only garage that I would ever trust with my car. I have tried other garage is in the past and none can compare to this one. This is the best garage that I’ve ever been to! The staff is super nice, reasonable prices, and very professional. Love this place!!! I would give it more stars if I could.

These guys are sometimes backed up with work for a reason. They have my best interests in mind because they are in it for the long haul, not to make a quick buck. I have had a radiator and a starter replaced here, and both times the work needed to get done and they would not do it unless they were sure it was absolutely necessary. The front desk (I guess according to their layout sort of the back desk) has always been friendly, polite and helpful, as well. I expect they will have my business as long as I live around the corner.

Used to be great, not so much anymore. Spent $2600 on repairs for a car that died 2 months later from issues different mechanic said should have been obvious. If they don't like.your car, they will take more work and let it sit. Like mine has. For a week. Only needing hooked up to emissions machine after a drive. But they don't have time to drive it. Or call the owner and ask them to. SMH. UPDATE: Apparently Mechanic Rick will come out of the garage and yell at you. Then when told to go back to the garage by his management, will wait by the exit doors to yell at you some more. Never, ever again. Been going here ten years and it breaks our heart but my in-laws latest experience was similar. Real shame.

I’m so happy, I finally found my mechanic! I moved to Lancaster 3 years ago, and have been searching for a mechanic I like. I decided to try Frank’s Garage because it’s right around the corner from my house. I’m so happy I did! I went to drop my car and met Gary. Super sweet and friendly, they did the work the next day and left my car in the lot for me to pick up that night. My car drives great, and price was good! Thanks Gary and Nicole! I recently moved to Lancaster and I was looking for a good mechanic shop in the area. I read the GOOD reviews online and wanted to check it out for myself. The staff are very friendly and they make you feel very welcomed. The mechanics are honest and don't try to sell you extra parts that you don't need. They just fix whats wrong with your car and they give you honest recommendations. Everyone who goes there seems to have a great experience as well. Had a great first impression on me and I will be returning there for my next service. They will most likely be my new go to mechanic shop. I recommend Frank's Garage to anyone.
